Hey gang,This is a long shot...but...does anyone know if there's a repository for old timetables? I'm talking old as in the 1940s-70s. I'm in the mood to fly some old props, but I have this big issue for some reason about just getting in and taking off -- I need somewhere to go and to know when to go and when to get there!I've looked at a couple of VA's (Braniff, Pan Am) that have "classic" schedules, some based on the real things, but I was curious if anyone knew of any other places to find old timetables. If you are located in any of these cities in Scandanavia and would be interested in a possible get together (I have not yet finalized my schedule or commitments), post your interest here please. I will be in Copenhagen on June 28th and 29th, Stockholm on June 30th, departing to Bergen on July 2nd and leaving Bergen for the states on the evening of the 3rd. Again, I have no clue as to my commitments at this time so getting together may turn out to be near impossible, but if the slightest chance exists, I would love to meet some fellow simmers!

Let me say from the outset that in general I am a fan of FSD's products.Their Super Cub and Rockwell Commander are both in my FS2K2 inventory and I think they are superb.However, I think the Cheyenne and Cessna 421 are seriously flawed despite the accolades from various quarters.Visually both aircraft are quite stunning and the flight dynamics are impeccable.However, the panels and the sounds, which to me are the essence of any flight sim aircraft,leave much to be desired.The Cheyenne's panel is so dark that I have trouble reading some of the instruments, the ASI in particular.When I raised this issue with FSD I was told that I must be visually impaired, even though I've …

I am using a Gainward GeForce4 MX440 600/TV and Compaq MV520 15" monitor. I went to gainward's site and downloaded the drivers aplicable to my video card. Okay guys, I come to you once again. My computer still seems to lock up on me with FS2K2 running, along w/ other games (FIFA2K2)Im running XP Professional on an Abit KT7A mobo, with 256mb of SDRAM. Primary HDD (non FS) - 15gigs, Secondary (FS2K2) - 10gigs. With an AMD Tbird Athlon 1.2ghz CPU. I was able to fly from Heathrow to Paris. BUT, it locked up as pulled up to the gate. Anyone out there that could explain why you can not see any reflection on the water with a GeForce4 MX450 ... I feel like throughing it at the salesman but how will he know?! Just been to Gainwards site and theyve got some new nvidia drivers which are also WHQL certified.Are numbered 29.80.Goto http://www.gainwardusa.com/Downloads/Downl...oad_Utility.htmSelect the ones for the geforce4 ultra power pack 750 as they are the newest updates as when you install them they work for geforce 3 also. If you goto their geforce 3 products listed at the same place you will be downloading older drivers, the 2832's so make sure you download from the geforce4 link. Maybe I'm going crazy, but I found out that PAI GMAX planes are less "FPS killers" than default planes. However, as I learned from the forum earlier, everything should be VISA-VERSA.Maybe somebody could clarify the situation?

sorry to post this here but I cannot log in the PSS support forum: I installed the 747 from the scratch (under FS2002) and applied the patch. I start with a cold cockpit, start engines and 1) cannot receive my clearance because COM radios do not work. Any idea? 2) When airborn I wanted to activate the autopilot: it did not work. When I clicked on the appropriate button it did not light up but the disengage bar was activated. funny!? One of the great Features of FLY is the volumetric clouds. I realize this is based on an entirely different engine..however, why can we not have 3d volumetric clouds in FS2002? Can someone explain it. Is there ever going to be a work around? Chris from FSW has done the best that I have seen, however, they are still 2d and when you hit the angle right or fly through them, it isn't very realistic, but they do look great from farther away.

Since my original thread was moved to hardware/software I just wanted to post a follow up and a big thank you to all who offered suggestions for eradication of this "virus". I know this is a Civ sim but that isn't why I bought it. I'm not looking to blow stuff up, I have JF-18 & F-4 for that. I bought FS2K2 so I could fly around the local bases that I hit for airshows. The only stuff I like to fly is military planes though. I have just about perfected landing some jets (737 & 727-200 advanced)using the Autopilot and ILS. During these A/P ILS assisted approaches , I also use A/T and everything seems to work well.BUT -- sometimes ATC vectors me to a ILS/BC approach - in other words , no Glideslope is available. So, I have been using the A/P in BC mode (that's OK - can get it to work OK) - and still using the A/T. However I am having trouble getting the aircraft to come down!! - and I am starting to believe it is because I am using the A/T at the same time as the A/P BC. I think that maybe , after I get the aircraft lined up on final using the A/P BC , I should take the aircraft out of…

Recently I had been flying from KAT6 (one of the overlay KATL versions)to KEWR (Simflyers)with default B737-400 in IFR mode (high attitude airways)After the 15-20 minutes of flight ATC told me that I had't maintain FL 305 even thought I had!!!! Altimeter was set up correctly as well. As a result, my IFR plan was cancelled and I had to shift to VFR mode.Thefore, my questions are following.1. What is that little radar scope or whatever it is on the 757 by the main gear. i was looking the the a/c when opening a new a/c in the "select a/c" drop-down and I noticed this little antenna under the aircraft that popped out from under a door. And when I used the aircraft it was hidden and closed. ANY HELP???

Hello All, I have one AGP video card, and one dual head PCI video card on my computer. I would like to run 3 monitors. The AGP card with the forward view, and the dual head card with the left & right views. I like to fly with a second monitor displaying a map that tracks my flight route. For the U.S. I use DeLorme's TopoUSA, which tracks my flight route using the GPS output from FS 2002. I would like to find a similar moving map program for Europe. I don't really need a street level map. All I really need is a map reflecting cities and towns, major roads, and, ideally, topographical features and elevation data. I fly mostly VFR and this facilitates knowing where I am and where I'm going. I have been plagued by a system lockup in FS2K2 for the last year which I believe is somehow related to my video setup but I'm not sure. My system is an Athlon 1.4g on an ASUS A7V266 mb with 512m 2100 DDR ram. Graphics card is a Hercules 3D Prophet II Pro GTS with 64m ram.DX8.0 and Nvidia 28.32 drivers. Can't get it to work. No matter which cloud set I choose, the clouds look the same.Went to the Help page without any luck. Was told to download run-time .dll VB5 and VB6. Didn't say where to but them once downloaded. Same with VB6 SP5 whatever that is. I downloaded and installed the following:Sky World 1.0Sky World 1.1Sky World Pack 1I can run FS Sky World and see the cloud sets. I select a cloud set, then click Install & Run FS. I've selected different sets, but the sky always looks the same.Richard
