When you tune a Nav radio you receive beeps back from the station. What are they called and how do you reply to them. I can't find any answer in the documentation.Thanks in advance to all who reply.Regards!Bill

Hi!I am posting here because there was no response to this question in the PSS forum (2 days).When I make a change to the flight plan, such as a crossing restriction from ATC, then the destination i.e. KBOS just "goes away". That makes the selection of the "arrival" difficult. :) Attmepting to reload the flight plan just seems to create more problems.Are there known issues with flight plan changes? If so, I will operate around them. However, if it is pilot error, then I would like to know how to properly make the revisions. Thanks in Advance...BobP :)

I am currently working on a small utility to correct and add words to the default ATC voices.I have it running for airlines now (it takes me aproximately one to two minutes to add a new airline, including writing the change back to the voicepack so Flight Simulator can pick it up).The modifications can be redistributed as a small xml file defining which section of which word to assemble into the new word.Before releasing the tool, I still have to add support for modifying airport names and aircraft models and, worst of all, I have to write some documentation :)Anyway, I plan to include a sample file that will add some airlines (Southwest, Easy, Maerskair, etc) as well as …

I run a Intel 700mhz. 256mb RAM, 30gb HD, w/ an Intel 810E 11mb graphics card/accelerator. I could upgrade my RAM, I have an extra 64mb sitting here waiting to be installed (when I get around to it). I REALLY wanted to upgrade my video card to one of those nice ones that I see everyone else use, but I dont think I can :( I don't think I can upgrade my Hewlett Packard XL753 Pavilion. The 810E is integrated or something like that, limiting the possibilities for upgrades. Anyone have a pavilion that they upgraded? just want to know if I can w/o buying a whole new chipset.

I know this isn't the Phoenix forum, but my thread was deleted over there. As a soon to be paying customer, I am a little puzzled. I have attempted to "sign up" on their site over 20 times this weekend, and get a variety of "page cannot be displayed" as well as the red x by the email field once I try to login. I know their forum said they were back up and running on Friday, so did I miss something? I have just installed 777-200CD into FS2002 Prof along with downloaded patch from Just Flight. However the FMC INITPERF page does not accept gross weight input. Should not the fmc recognize the gross weight after creating a flight with FS2002? I also read somewhere that there should be a Loadedit utility within B777 Aircraft Folder yet this has not been installed during the install process. Has anyone ant clues or experience with this problem?

I have two hard drives on my system one 27gig and the other 80 gigs partitioned into 35 and 45 respectively. I am running XP home edition right now and I would like to set up a dual boot with 98ME as my second OS. I want 98 on the 45gig drive. Can you give me some instructions on how to make this happen? Hello PaulI have read your articles on the GeForce Tweak utility with much interest and have attempted to put these into practice.I downloaded the GTU programme but find certain anomilies that are perplexing. In one article you speak of pushing the "patch driver" button in the 3D tab. In my copy of the GTU this does not appear, also I can only access the 16 or 64 anisotropic tap, the 32 tap is not available. Am I missing the obvious?I note that you say that the -0.1 LOD setting is not obtainable with drivers post the 23.00 series unless the patch driver button is applied.Thank you for any help you can give to enlighten this thickhead.My Spec

I can not get the auto pilot to work with regard to SPEED tracking. I am unable to engage either the "AT" or "SDP" buttons. Is there something I am not doing correctly, or perhaps these functions are not yet enabled?Thanks,Jim B

I know it's all old hat to you guys, but when I unzipped the download, it created a file called "waterrep" and gave me absolutely no clue as to what to do with it.... where to put it...... etc. There was a ReadMe but no installation instructions.I'm sure it must seem to be a total waste of time to include installation instructions/hints/guides, etc. with the files since "everybody already knows" what to do. Hi guys have this little problem with the 747-400 I am flying an approach to seattle Tacoma al set up and flying down the glideslope with autopilot engaged rwy34R heading 341deg and it goes autoland at 5nm out and lands no problem the only thing is the vor1 and vor 2 are pointing to 360 off to the right of my heading when I was lineing up the vor1 deviation needle comes across and lines up but I am flying 341deg not 360 so it should line up with 341 unless I am missing something being a novice it does this at another airport Portsmouth some others I have tried its been fine vor1 and vor2 indicators line up so I hope you guys have some idea why this is doing this little t…

Hey Gang!Mike has definitely done it again with his fabulous release of the Beechcraft B-1900-D series. The aircraft not only looks magnificent, but it flies like a dream. Hi y'all,I have tried a little something over last hours and I have no idea what the hell is going on.I have used NVmax for years, but having read that it is not supporting the latest drivers and that it will not be updated anymore I decidied to try hard page or GTU.I had pretty good graphics in FS2002 but anything can be improved.I uninstalled NVmax and installed the GTU.After installing GTU and pressing a few buttons (only stuff I know a little about like aniso, LOD bias etc.) I started FS2002.It was downright terrible. Unsharp graphics, blurries like hell, slow texture updating... Whatever buttons I pressed, whatever stuff I enabled or disabled it would not go away. So…
