hey folks!i consider buying a geforce 4 ti4200 for 199 euro. but a friend of mine wants to sell me his geforce 2 gts for 40 euro. what do you think? what should i do? should i rather buy the gf2? could anybody post shots which were taken with one of these graphic cards? would be great! thank you!greeting :-wavechris

Hey gang,I recently downloaded Matthias Lieberecht's BAe 146 panel for FS2002, and I've come across a slight problem. It appears (to me, at least) that the airspeed and mach number hold functions of the autopilot are a little...ah...tempermental. When I engage them, the throttles instantly cut back to zero and stay there, so I end up flying the throttles manually (which I can live with). I was just curious to see if anyone else had had a similar anomaly.Could it be the aircraft model? I'm using the IADG RJ85 from Precision Simdesigns, which is a FS2000 model, but I've never run into any problems with FS2000 aircraft thus far.(BTW, I had to reboot FS 3 times just to get an…

Although cruising about with my tailwheel brushing the pine trees is a big part of what FS2K2 is about for me, there are days when I just want to turn all the nasty stuff up full and try to find my way home in the worst weather and visibility FS2K2 can cook up. OK, I know, if it's that bad I shouldn't be up there but let's not split hairs here ... all I would like to know is your view on what's the best aircraft for some serious IFR flying. There's nothing worse than picking something interesting out of the hangar only to find at the last moment that the airfile causes the aircraft to behave like an epileptic elephant on roller skates. At 1220 Eastern time, I cannot get FS Meteo to get any weather from the server. Anyone else having troubles?

I'm curious to know if the Falcon 50 can be configured to have ATC say Falcon instead of Dessault? I did a search on the forum here and couldn't find anything relating to this. I've tried changing the aircraft .cfg file by replacing the ui_manufacture setting from Dessault to Falcon but ATC still responds with Dessault.Thanks in advance if you have any suggestions.Thanks,Jim

Hello all,I have a great Project Airbus aircraft I really wanna fly but I refuse to do so until I have a good A300 panel to complement it....anyone know of any good ones out there?

Please do not laugh at the question I am about to ask. Will FS2002 run on a Mac's operating system? My Windows XP Home, AMD 1800 XP +, GF3 Ti500, 768 mb of PC 2100 DDR, machine is up to it's old tricks of "Re-booting" while I fly FS2002. I thought I had gotten rid of it when I installed a 2nd case cooling fan which helped drop the temp 8-10 degrees. I have reloaded the operating system, reloaded FS2002 numerious times and even had it in the computer shop and no problems could be found. I have changed the NVidia drivers and even sent Microsoft per their request a "Memory Dump" of the reboot which took 12 plus hours via their extreamly slow ftp server. I know there are few…

Hi,Most of my flying is done round Europe where mb are used as barometer settings as opposed to inches, i.e. 1013 instead of 29.92.Is there anyway where I can get ATC to use millibars as opposed to inches when they tell me what the barometer setting should be?I have changed the International Options in FS2002 Pro from the default US System to Metric (Altimeter Feet)and this has changed the barometer display to MB for the default aircraft on the panels but all the ATIS announcements etc are still given in inches.Any help would be very much appreciated.ThanksSteve Foster.

Hey all, to my knowledge there are no gauge cleaners that really work in FS2002 (at least with WinXp). I know there are several in the library, but they seem to remove some gauges that belong to active aircraft and are therefore unusable. Is there a reason for this lack? Only a small one.Has anyone here got the Realscene Terrain Mesh Scenery by Eddie Denney.If you have could you fly near to KHPN airport in CT...or take off from there heading towards New York and let me know once you get over the water of Long Island sound whether or not you can see some small islands just off the coast of greenwich CT. I go there to visit a friend a few times a year and I know that the default mesh doesnt include it but would love to know if Eddies does as Im very interested in buying it and thats one of the things that would sway my decision too. Its great in the summer going to the islands on the Greenwich ferry and watching some planes go into Westche…

Gentlemen, imagine getting sprayed with water or gettingpricket with a needle thats built in you FS chair everytimeyou made crash landings. This would give whole new outlook on just booting up the pc and taking your causaul flight. With a minimal amount of programming and some modificationsof the mechanics of a force feedback joystick is going tomake the FS more the just a simulated flight. What do yousimmers think?Thanks

Hi!I have the Simflyer's KPHNL and Lago's FSSE installed and I have run into a problem or should I say problems.I noticed that the "taxi line you follow" to help you around the airport is floating in the air and as well as the some of the aircraft. But some aircraft are perfectly fine. I have tried disabling and enabling FSSE and it's the same situation.My other Simflyer's airports don't do this. Anyone have any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate it. I have checked the exclude/flatten lines for KPHNL and it seems fine. Thank you for your time. Julian

Hi.., I've got awful flat clouds in my FS2K2pro and I wanna fix the flat away so that it will look more realistic.Anyone know how to fix the flat clouds? And also my wing leveler gone mad.Everytime I activate the Autopilot master switch and the Wing Leveler also light up.I try deactivate it by clicking it but it won't go away.It all happens to all my aircraft panel and I can't fly long-haul flights out of London without Autopilot.So please tell me how to fix it.Thank you.Allen
