What is the best way to delete flight plans in FS2002? I couldn't find a delete button in the Flight Planning area of FS2002 and I know I could do it in the flight plan folder using Windows Explorer, but are there any other files that are created when you create a flight plan that would have to be deleted too? I don't remember FS2000 having a delete option either. Thanks.;)

Does anyone know if there is a way to edit any file(s) so that approach and or tower can be contacted at a reasonable distance instead of being on top of the airport [email protected]

I have been under the assumption that that they had not put out any aircraft yet, although post today in the forum seem to indicate that they are in full swing. Anyway, every time I click on the links under aircraft repaints (in the download section), I get "page cannot be displayed". Is there something that I have to do? Do I have to download and use the installer? I want to replace the Cas Stevens 737's as they are fantastic looking for AI, but, now that I have downloaded many of the RW flight plans for various airlines, I have thousands of aircraft flying around, especially at KBOS, KORD, etc. And it is killing frame rates on approach and departure. Hi,I just purchased the Commander from FSD. The fact they added the old 2D cockpit textures convinced me to get it.The simmer decides which set of textures he wants to use - there's a "loadout" option for that effect.I've logged a couple of hours around Oshkosh in the Commander: In one word - AMAZING !!!Everything is perfect as far as I'm concerned, the textures, the flight model, the panel, the gauges...everything is the way it should be.I've never flown a real Commander, but the FSD model seems to be as accurate as possible by judging from pics I've seen.I don't work for FSD (in fact I even didn't like their Cheyenne..)but folks, do yourselves a big favor and get this b…

Tom' I have down-loaded your DC-6 panel v5. Great panel, BUT the manifold pressure guages are not right. They show on take off only about 25". You know a R-2800 will pull 52" dry.Is there any thing I can do to get this right.Thanks Denny

Could someone explain what the heck this is supposed to be and where I download it? I'm unable to find anything doing a search in the file library or the discussion forum on it, but several planes I download refer to something like this in the Panel config file, therefore the panels never work for me.Thanks for your help!Lance

Hi to all............Seems that I have no, or very few AC at various airports around the country....just flew out of my home airport this morning (TUCSON) and I was the only aircraft there....was peaceful, but not very realistic....I know there is something I can do to create static AC at all airports....HELP !!Many ThanksJimTucson

Why is it that when I downdown and install planes, sometimes the planes are NOT complete. Either, the sound is wrong or the panels are wrong. It is very frustrating to go thru the download and install process and then have the plane not work like it should. I appreciate the effort that people go through to design and upload their work, but I think there should be some type of warning if the plane is not workable. It is very frustating.

Hi allI've been trying to understand why aircraft like PSS 747-400, Dreamfleet 737 etc that were designed for FS2000 have non-working thrust reverser buckets in FS2002.Funny thing is, when I used PSS 747-400 in FS2002 using the "work-around" and not the new patch that Phoenix provided, they worked fine!Is is really SO difficult to get them to work? Does anyone know what actually needs modifying?By the way, I couldn't even design a paper plane let alone the works of art that these very talented guys come up with, but I'm just curious!Cheers

Hello.I have a problem on fs2002 which is now starting to drive me crazy!! When I am flying I start getting these ill-placed textures, or misplaced textures. For example I get sometimes land squares over the sea or grass textures over the desert. I have tried so many things to put this right but nothing seems to solve it. I even changed my graphics card and operating system, but nothing happens still. I've tried tweaking my graphics cards, and game settings. I've increased the Ram on my computer. I am 100% sure it is not a graphics card / driver related problem as all my other games work correctly without any problems.If any one knows, or has any idea how I can get…

I posed this over a year ago and someone assured me it was in the works but I've never seen it. Would it be possible to create an aircraft model that was invisible but tall and skinny - like a control tower? The reasoning being one person in a multiplayer could be the "control tower". They could slew until the "aircraft" corresponded with the control tower and then they could look around from within the tower and control planes visually. It's sounding kind of crazy now that I'm trying to explain it. Maybe there is an easier way to accomplish the same thing.David

Hi simmers,For an experienced simmer this may be a rather stupid question, but I just don't know how to handle the following problem.At some airports (using default scenery) the scenery is flashing grass textures through the concrete textures. Sometimes (e.g. at KMSP) the grass textures come through and replace the concrete.Is anyone of you familiar with this problem and does anyone of you have the solution?Thanks!Peter,The Netherlands

Of course, it can be done by hand.But , if the A/P has the facility to track a back-course localizer, how isthe descent handled in a jetliner when using this facility of the A/P. If itis not used, why does the A/P have the facility?Anybody know

Anyone want to try a multiplayer VFR flight from Meigs to KOSH tomorrow (Thursday, 6/27) night at maybe 9pm EST? The more the merrier! Or maybe we should depart from our own favorite airports and plan to arrive at 9pm (but maybe we should set the time to daylight so we can use the VFR approaches. Maybe a little Roger Wilco too! Hi! A couple of years back I saw VR-helmets for sale that you could hook up to your computer. But I haven't seen or heard much about those lately. Now I wonder what happend to them? I suppose FS2002 does not support VR at this moment. Wouldn't it be great to be able use such thing with FS?/Fredrik

I downloaded the project ai installer and the US airways setup.I have run the base installer and chose to overwrite my old ai flightsas I had not edited them to much.However I see only two US Air Airbus A320s at KSFO, and no other airplanes are present, only light singles and a few twins of befault colors. There must be something wrong, any ideas?.I have also cycled through the Shift-W and none of the add-on airplanes are in the air.Please Help

In the original version updates actually created additional entries."Does this mean that the latest FSUIPC allows external sources (=for instance an updated SB) to add multiplayer aircraft to the TCAS in FS2002? That would be a riot!

I have installed the CD version of the PSS 777-200 together with the patch in FS2K2.However I have a problem with level flight. When reaching cruising altitude with the autopilot engaged - Either on LNAV or HDG hold and altitude Hold. The aircraft will start to swing the nose constantly from left to right and pitches also constantly up and down by approx 100 feet margins.I am using real weather settings and had installed FSUIPC 2.86 and now FSUIPC 2.87. No Change.It looks if the autopilot is correcting to much and or to quick.Any suggestions?I have submitted this also on the PSS forum but so far no posting or reply.My PC Spec:Processor Intel P4 1.7G on a true Intel Mother…

Just installed the latest Arrestor Cables. It worked OK before. Now the planes are all on the ocean surface by the carriers, not on the deck, as before. Any help sure would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob.
