Other than reported frame rate increases and multi-player option what are the distinct advantages of "se" over the box. Is it something new to tweek or actual flight handling/ scenery improvements? Thanks Rich

I just installed LatinVFR's new KSNA and noticed 19R is now 20R. Will a Navigraph update correct FSX ATC to send me to 20R instead of still using 19R?

Just installed my F1 MD80 that I had from FS9, Went to Flight Aware and got AAY 482 KLAS to KGRR, FA showed actual miles as 1641, I did same flight in FS flight planner and got 1466, 175 less is FS planner that bad and if so is there another planner as easy to use that's more accurate? I like to track my miles flown, just me.

Hej folks, my FSX is starting a strange vido recording in .avi format. This is done automatically in the background. The .avi is placed into a subfolder ("Flight Simulator X-Datein") in the "Video Library" Main- Folder. The Video is recorded with about 1 FPS, the file is 189GB (!) large and about 2.5 hours long. I have no recording programs/ or tools, such as FRAPS or FS Recorder, installed. This is a very strange situation for me.... thx a lot, and happy new year i wish you from Germeny...

With the release of ASN immanent (eg. tomorrow), I'm just wondering whether I should take another trust of faith to get that rather than hop onboard Opus. My experience with AS2012 had been less than satisfactory, and Hifi claims that tremendous improvement had been done on the ASN in my respects. I had a look at their features list, a lot of them sounds a bit over (ie. doesn't sound realistic). Where Opus had been quite quiet about their product, most of the advertising had been through advocates; which suggests to me that they are a more modest company. Hello! Downloaded FSX-SE a couple of days ago, and everything is so far working great, but I am missing lens flares. Has this something to do with ENBseries? I am not exactly sure what caused the problem as I downloaded a lot of my addons for SE before launching. I hope some of you guys know what might be wrong. Happy New Year! - Nikolas

I'm familiar with MakeRunways and I've used that, that gives me the ICAO and airport name, I'm looking for something that would pull out the country, city, state data as well so I could put in into a spreadsheet. How do I do this? Thanks.

Strange on this one...Whenever a activate slew mode (pressing Y) the aircraft spins around in cirlce at great speed. It just rotates 360 around in circcles until I press Y again. I can still control the aircraft whilst in slew mode by using the keys or yoke, but of course its all over the place because the direction the aircraft is facing changes a million times a second.I've only just finished building my new rig and the only thing different about this to previous builds is the Saitek yoke and rudder pedals. I thought I might ask here if anybody has any expirence with this before I start pulling them all out.Cheers,Kael

If anyone is flying the constellation from Just Flight I would be interested in knowing the following. Are there any "maps" that can be access in the cabin/VC to help navigate. Without a gps it requires an exit from FSX to go to Plan-G or an equivalent? Is there a knee board that lists specs, check lists, etc.? Where can I find performance specs. in the download? Hello flyers! I am a PMDG 777 vPilot, i am always flying with T7, basically i have some problems with my FSX colors. I always use ENB series to get realistic/darker cockpit colors. As you can see in this video, i just want to make my T7 cockpit colors like that. (Time is 1:01) And also i like this cockpit colors too. And also i wanna see ground lights when during night time. I Tried to use SKY TEXTURES FOR ENB SERIES, but i can't reach darker cockpit like in first video... Can you guys help me? I can edit enbseries.ini too. I just want that darker cockpit in FSX.. Now that I have Steam FSX as well as regular FSX I would like to use Sceneryconfig editor with the 2 separate scenery.cfg files. I think it's possible with a command line switch or option but it's a long time since I used such a beast. I do however remember doing something similar for FS9 or an earlier version. Can anyone offer any help? TIA Dave

Hey, I am trying to contact the customer support and they are not responding at all!!! Is there anyway to reach them? I created a ticket through their help page but no one answer me! I tried to activate FSX Fiber Accelerator and I couldn't! It says "All licence are currently in use". any ideas?

Is there a way to make the magenta line on the GPS thicker? I find it hard to see when in VC view... Any suggestions?

hi everyone im wondering is there a way to save a control setting for FSX im reinstalling and its annoying to delete all the ones i dont use. and then to top that off. as i delete them, they randomly reassign themselves back. ive realized that if i close out and save it does save them eventually there has to be a better way ? I've only installed a few things to a clean FSX-SE, so now I've erased everything that I've installed, except the textures as I don't believe textures would cause an issue. Anyway, I can't for some reason copy the crash report and paste it here, but one crash said it was terrain.dll and the other was API.dll so I've not really done anything to modify those. I am so frustrated I can't even convey right now. Any ideas are much appreciated. Thanks! I'm having lots of trouble with this forum software. Anyone else notice the Tire smoke, Runway spray etc effects not working? Any solutions?

To begin with, you might wonder why I'm posting here and not in the Flythemaddog forums. The reason is the forum is basically dead. There's no official support at all. I just bought the product and I knew the risk. Anyway here we go. The Maddog does not ship with an Airac, instead the devs are saying that copying the pmdg SIDSTARS folder to the Maddog folder will work fine. Now maybe it does or maybe not but it's certainly not working for me. I like to do my first flights with new airplanes from Oslo to Arlanda. Hello everyone! I have this annoying shadow that appeared out of nowhere..does anyone else have these issues? I use Steve DX10 Fixer and I also use Nvidia Inspector..I had my CFG tweaked from the group on facebook a while ago and this showed up not to long ago..I did change my FLIGHTSIM.FLT file so all my planes are Cold&Dark..could this affect it? Hi, any recommendations out there for other aircraft/vendors that have/make simcrafts that have realistic flight dynamics, age depending on how they are flow, require maintenance depending on how and how much they are flown, have a maintenance hanger (perhaps)... like A2As Cessna 182? Planes that demand proper flying OR penalize you for not flying right! The Cessna, for example, forced me to improve my landings because I was damaging hinges! I know there are a few other A2As models but thought someone might know of others. Looking for an "immersive experience" I particularly like GA or vintage commercial aircraft... mostly prop.
