Hi, I have upated to the latest ver but when I run the interface it shows the previous ver is installed. Whats wrong? Thanks Nelson

Has anyone found a way to get PMDG aircraft to install into SE? When I try it says it cant find FSX. Sorry if this has already been posted as well.

So I use this program in my day to day work when working on code and it is wonderful! http://winmerge.org/ I also use it for working on my fsx.cfg. Since we all know that opening you settings changes you .cfg and sometimes it is hard to find those changes. installed okay but when I go to select my aircraft model it goes to a black screen and get nothing at all have to restart FSX SM have taken off FSX MS version so this is not interfering with it one thing I did notice was it didn't ask for my licence number to be installed like it did originally in the old FSX thats the one that asks for the code etc your help would be much appreciated fellow simmers :mad:

I've had the pleasure of using REX new Soft Cloud add on for a week now. The first thing I noticed was the gain in performance and in addition the more realistic feel. The downfall, at least for me, was when I discovered the greater VAS hit it had on my system contrary to regular REX4 clouds. Normally, I can fly the NGX between FlyTampas Copenhagen to Aerosofts Oslo Gardemoen X in any weather without problems, landing at any airport with around 100-200MB VAS left depending on the severity of the weather. Hi. I use EFASS from Froome to plan my routes and im just wondering which route I input to successfully complete the flight. There is 2 sections with route waypoint and airway data: ATC ROUTE and ROUTE DATA, ATC ROUTE includes the waypoints up to the top of descent only, and ROUTE DATA includes the same route plus the waypoints after the Top Of Descent. any tips or help would be appreciated. So for the first time last couple of flights I have done I have gotten a OOM. One flight was KRDU-KLGA got it basically right in downtown NY. Next was KLGA-KIAD and I got it on final. Before each flight I made sure only the airports that I am using are active in my scenery library. Flying into LGA I think I understand the OOM because I had my auto gen set at dense and figured that was what caused it. I am also using Drewziski(sp) NY airports. Flying into KIAD like I have TONS of times before has not caused an OOM except for this time. Is it because I left from KLGA that I got the OOM? Which settings can I lower to make sure I don't get a OOM when flying into NY o…

What's best New York city scenery (payware or freeware) available for both day and night flying? I've tried Drzewiecki Design's New York City X. It looks good during the day, but the night time lighting looks like crap. -Jimmy

Anyone know the procedures for exceeding FL250 on supplemental oxygen? Would the cabin pressure be placed on max altitude or dump to relieve pressure differentials?

You know how you view outside the aircraft in 2004 and when you put in fixed instead of roll nothing moves but the aircraft. How can I re-configure FSX so it will be fixed like in 2004? The lock spot in FSX still has the scenery moving and I don't like that. Anyone know how to do that? Thanks for reading my post.

I dont know if this is the corect forum. This is suppose to be an tweaked version of fsx but with the same settings as my main fsx and with no addons, just defalut 737 at KJFK nice weather it pulled 19-20Fps. With the original FSX + PMDG, FS2crew , Rex texture direct, UT2, ASN, etc I got at the same airport, same gate with snow and poor weather around 15-19Fps That means if I install all addons on the new fsx I will crawl at around 5fps

Any possibility of having a separate forum for FSX-Steam? Just speaking for myself, I find it somewhat annoying to have to sort out the steam versus the non-steam threads.

After many weeks of successful simming after a reinstall, FSX decided to start displaying random polygons and painting various textures such as a building sides painted in the sky and chain link ceilings. Occasional spikes and artifacts show up as well. This is with FSX real world weather - AS2012 is not running. I don't have REX clouds installed, I have had FSX Global and ORBX successfully installed for several months. I have the 737NGX, Airbus Extended installed. As such Steam is not FSX, its a different Sim, I have no intention of buying it as I'm quite contented with FSX and FS9 as no doubt are a lot of serious Simmers. He is gaining popularity on YT very fast, tutorial videos, tips on perormance, graphics, etc. Didn't checked his YT channel in detail, just a few videos, and saw that he is ok guy, really. What would be the number one reason that even though I'm heading straight to intercept the glideslope for a final approach that the LOC button doesn't want to work? I ensured that in NAV RAD that the ILS frequency and heading are put in there. But for some reason the localizer button just doesn't want to click. It was for KIAD landing at ILS 1L. Has this happen to anyone before? I don't understand why sometimes it clicks and sometimes it doesn't. -Andrew Coste

It has been asked a few times, if a dedicated FSX:SE Forum could be opened. This will not happen, but you can still use the topic tags as a filter: Simply click on the green FSX:MS or the blue FSX:SE tag, and you will get only those topics that has the respective tag. Well, here is some unexpected fun - I was just on approach to a nice little airstrip in Norway when it started to rain, and this happened : VC view disappeared and re-appeared in perfect coordination with the rain starting and stopping - cycling through the views got me to the last "nose on" view with no VC which actually worked (and was kind of cool as you get the rain hitting your windshield effect), but I doubt you have that option in "real life" Guess I will be making a bug report. I need to re-install the Citation X since I now have a new computer. I went to Flight 1 to get and activate My Serial no. and password. That was quick and easy, the problem is it doesn't work. I have tried downloading several times over the past several days and all I get is a run time error. I even tried using My E-mail and Password as the other option, it also failed. No help from them and I sent an e-mail about three days ago to Eaglesoft Support looking for help , but nothing, not even a response. I have even tried logging in to the Eaglesoft forum and it won't let me log into that. I have downloaded from several other companies with no problems at all. And I have …

Afternoon all! This has been something that I have always tried to understand if FSX could ever do it. I use ASN and I must admit when you go through foggy areas or low vis when it integrates the wing being hidden like you are in real life it really is amazing. But I have always wondered if it could be done when you go in and out of clouds.
