Hi to all guys, I installed perfectly maddog under FSX:SE and all works like a charm. The only problem is that I can't save the panel state because under FSX:SE addon menu there is no Maddog item. Does anyone know how to workaround this issue? Is there anything to add to exe.xml or dll.xml? Anyone of you that use maddog under FSX can check if there is any particular entry in exe.xml or dll.xml? Thanks a lot in advance

Hello, I have been using OPUS(FSX) and OPUS (FSI) for a couple years.. I feel as though sometimes when a new version is released, the turbulence is good and other releases/updates its not very noticeable.. what would be the best settings for the most noticeable turbulence? For instance, should I have the DOF set to 3 and the delay set to 0 with the bump aircraft slider set to 10? I feel like the most recent release 4.43.8 was a step backwards from the last release I had, in regards to accurate turbulence effects. what settings in the DHM are people using for the best trbc effects?

Sir..please help me... i've got the citation x 2.0 via F1 Wrapper, installed ..but when i load a flight...just after the the load the airplane begins to jump and spin without control... and opening reverse thurst and show FAIL message in all Efis painels... PLEASE HELP ME!! had i lost 50 USD?? Hope some one could help me!

I'm on a learning curve here so I hope I type what I mean. I have FSX-Steam installed but I keep seeing things about installing SP1 and 2. Do I need to install either or both, because I think SP2 is for Multiplayer? Roger

I have a nasty problem Due to a download of a virtual airline, my splashscreen and the ones after it during startup fsx are ruined. So I went to the UIRES file but there are a lot of changes and I dont know how I can get rid of it. Is it possible to delete the whole uires file so fsx makes a new one. Or how can do it in another way. I have bought the fsx download from steam and dont know if I can download it again and maybe I lose all the addons. any help would be appreciated. I could not find an uninstall or removeble file from the VA

Looking to install FSX on a 2nd (local) networked PC. Our network runs through a HUB. Is there a way to fly together WITHOUT using an online server? Can we have a direct connection via the HUB?

I am prepared to use FSX:SE only and uninstall all the 165 GB I have accumulated in FSX! What is the recommended procedure? Uninstall first all addons (to reinstall them again on FSX:SE) and after that uninstall FSX? Also, does the uninstallation of FSX leaves behind non-original material, e.g., an addon scenery or aircraft or is the complete FSX directory wiped out? I would appreciate some feedback/recommendations from those who have already made this procedure. Thanks

can anyone help me whenever I try to modify, delete or tweak my fsx.cfg it says access is denied oh yeah and when I try to start fsx it syas cannot write fsx.cfg

RealTrim is a small but useful program for setting a/c trim that I have been using successfully with FSX, but cannot get it to work with FSX-SE on my side-by-side FSX/FSX-SE system (does still work with FSX). I have run all the legacy simconnect installers, but the RealTrim log reports it cannot find the sim (FSX-SE). I'm trying to determine if the problem is with my particular system setup (which uses Win7/64) or if the issue is inherent to RealTrim wrt the installation of FSX-SE. Any ideas appreciated. Thx, Al

Hello, I am looking for recommendations for: fast + single-engine-propeller + side-by-side-seating + civilian + easy-on-frame-rate fast - well over 200 mph closer to 300 mph please GA / Light-Commercial side-by-side instead of military fighter / trainer I have a modest system and need something that will have lower impact on frame-rates. I just did a short flight from KPHX to KLAS. Before leaving KPHX I checked ASN and it said the winds were 250/6 at KLAS so I figured I would be landing on 25R. Anyway as I got close to approach I tuned the radio to KLAS and it said the winds were 238/6 which still seemed like 25R would be the right choice. However on approach the winds were 028/12 or something close to that. Why would the winds be so different from what was said on the radio and in ASN?

I downloaded a plane on the other website (Flightsim.com) from their "Hot Files" section and I'm really pleased with it. Version 3.0 is there, but you can download the 3.1 fixes after you download 3.0. It's a great rendition of the Piaggio P-180 with several liveries. It flies beautifully, and I do like the cockpit. Sounds are quite good, and the autopilot works really well (especially with the 3.1 fix at end of the file). This is a cool looking business jet type of aircraft, and I really like flying it. Let me know if you like it too. Stan ps. I'm not happy with the 3.1 fix. Going back to 3.0. Seems AP doesn't work so well with this fix.

Hi all, My fsx is damn near where i want it now, the only remaining issue is a slight stutter when over ground level at approximately every 3 second interval. Its easier to see later in the video just going over the airport boundary. Any help is appreciated to help iron out this last issue to perfect my setup. Hardware is gtx 780, i7 4970 at 4.6ghz. All setup exactly as nickn's guide apart from an affinity mask setting as its the only way i could previously stop a system hang i got previously. I ought really to know after all these years flight simming, but will pairing down my dll.xml file help improve performance? I have masses of addons with entries. Presumeably, all those items are modules of some sort that load when FSX starts?

It has been ages to me really - I just moved in to my new apartment and after almost half year break from FSX - coming back to the airfield and I honestly hope this is like with riding a bicycle... Until today I was completely not aware of FSX Steam Edition. Hi everyone. Since installing ES's Stonehenge scenery I now have 2 Stonehenges - the new one and presumably the default FSX one. Does anyone know which bgl file I need to disable (rename) to remove the default scenery, or is there another way of removing the original Stonehenge? On a more general note, is there a list of which bgl files in FSX relate to which scenery? (or is that just too big a job?) Cheers, Les

Hi all, ever since I purchased FSX a year ago I have been running a goose chase to finally achieve a decent playable fps with addons that make this simulator seem realistic. Today, my rig specs are: Core i5 3570K overclocked to 4 ghz mobo Gigabyte Z77-DS3H Nivida GTX 760 2gb ram ddr5 8 gb of RAM windows 7 64x Addons PMDG 737 ngx rex4 texture direct fscaptain Proatc-x Fs2crew sweetfx Some airports here and there When on the air the fps is good, around 30-40 which is very acceptable, but on the ground it dips to 18-25, in VC, sometimes unplayable slideshow which really annoys me so much considering the amount of money I am throwing down this drain.... …
