Hello guys, for a long time I am not happy with my water textures which are created by REX 4. I just see ocean water textures everywhere. There are no inland water textures. Neither in lakes nor in rivers. I have set "Low 2x" as water settings in FSX. Furthermore I am using Steves DX10 Fixer with the water settings attached. ORBX OpenLc and Vector is in use. I previously uninstalled FSX and installed FSX:SE. All my previously installed WOAI remain in the old FSX directory. I have copied all AI aircraft files from the old FSX to the new FSX:SE directory structure. What other files do I need to copy across so that all AI routes appear in FSX:SE e.g. traffic.bgl or something similar? I am trying to avoid reinstalling all the AI again into FSX:SE. Thanks Stuart

Hi All, I'm after recommendations for a nice freeware heavy freighter package for FSX - I'm doing my VA's Formula 1 tour , and it calls for some long legs (I normally fly Q400/B738). As much as I'd like to lash out on a 777 from PMDG, finances don't currently allow. I'd appreciate your advice - ideally a nice package that has panel/sound/model. Cheers, Mark B.

Hey Guys, i recently got the Aerosoft Airbus A318-A321 bundle from Aerosoft and i installed it and everything, but when i load up the aircraft my Navigation Display and ECAMS is turned off and certain sounds are off. Additionally, my aircrafts start with the engines on and the PF is on. I cant manage to use teh FMC from copilot side to set the aircraft in cold and dark, etc. Does anyone who have this addon know how to fix this problem or is it that i cant run this on FSX SE? Where do we find the IP and port for Hamachi? I have a hamachi network setup with an IP and a weird port number... So when connecting would we use that IP or an IP that our router uses? Hi again folks... Sorry for all my questions... Well I'm not sorry but I hope im not annoying anyone. I would like suggestions on good airports to use for performance testing. Things I could set up default flights for to get a base line on tweaking the cfg and the system. Not to taxing on the system (or maybe it should be) a mixture of terrain and nice looking. Preferably since I have Orbx/Vectow/Northern California, Pacific Northwest it would be great to be in that region. Currently I use John Wayne in Southern California but since I have the ORBX stuff, I might as well use something there. Thanks In Advance....

I have noticed this issue for a while but never had the chance to address it. My FSX always has that "point of sharpness" where if anything gets past that point, the rendering blurs. Is this normal for DX 9 or are there any settings I have missed? Regards,

Hi Guys I just noticed that I now have square lights..not sure what I did. This is just off of KIAH (FSDT Houston) This is FSX DX10. I am using Steve's program (May not be the latest) Any ideas? IS it because of HALO.bmp? Some AI aircraft landing/take off lights is also square but only from some angles.

Hello fellow flight simmers! FSX crash happens on NA airports in areas normally not covered by FTX. Crash happens a few seconds after the scenery has loaded. Example : - No crash at KSEA, KSAN, KSFO - crash at KDEN, KORD, KJFK, KIAD, CYUL Crash happens at those airports whether FTX Central is set at Global (with or without hybrid), NA, Europe, Oceania. Installed sceneries (all latest versions) : FS Global 2010, FTX Global, FTX Vector, FTX Europe LC, PNW, PF, NRM, CRM, SAK, NCA, EU England, EU Scotland, AU SP4, NZ South, almost all FTX regional airports + AYPY & KPSP. I would like to get something (or somethings) that can 1) Give me realistic traffic and such 2) Have the AI fly realistically 3) Have ATC Act better/correctly with the traffic that is added. If you are familiar with their previous releases of Virtual CDU for iFly 737, PMDG 737/777 and Aerosoft airbus there is now a new program to the new iFly 747 v2 What it does: Lets you use your tablet or iPad for a touchscreen CDU. It is very responsive and does the same thing as a $500+ hardware CDU. I hope my questions are not considered spam... Just have a lot of them right now.... So I want to get some AI into the sim, but I want it to be responsive to ATC... I guess the question is What AI package to get and does stock ATC handle this or do I need some form of an ATC add on. Very new to AI and ATC so feel free to answer like I am 5.... I'm nowhere near ready for vatsim or that other service with real controllers in the CA area.

Since I can't log into the Eaglesoft Forum I'll post this here. When I go to the 2-D Cockpit , I'm unable to to use the five click spots that are designed to bring up instruments. Any ideas ? Thanks

So I took the bait and bought the new product. I just had an urge. I have not yet fully tested this product but can offer some early insite. If you have Orbx, with its custom trees autogen then when you have a region activated those custom trees over ride the Zinertek trees. You must switch to default in Central or if you have Global (which I don't), you must not tick the Orbx trees feature otherwise these new trees will not show. So, I will post some screen shots, noting that I have GEX, UTX and Orbx. So if I shut off Orbx, then UTX vector scenery takes priority along with GEX textures. Hi, recently, out of the blue, whenever I use my joystick to pan around the cockpit or external view, it pans extremely sluggish and because of this, stutters. Even though I am getting a clean 30 or 40 fps constantly. It's odd because it literally started to happen when I restarted my sim. If I hold spacebar and move my mouse to pan, everything is smooth and looks great, but obviously I much prefer to use my joystick for the panning as its easy to do while flying. Hello, First of all I am sorry if by mistake I put my question here. My question is the following using PMDG 737/800_900 I prepared 2 flight plans the first LGAV-LGTS and the 2nd LGAV-LGRP in the first one the VNAV button is working and the flight goes perfectly also I can here the v1 v2 v2 callouts but in the second flight neither the Vnav button is working nor the callouts are heared. Sorry if this has been covered, couldn't find it if it has. Trying to install Orbx global and vectors to steam but it always defaults to the FSX orig folder and there is no where to change install folders. Same with UT 2, wants to install app data in FSX folders and can't change it! Anyone know what to do?. Regards Peter
