I have FSX on a really good machine. All my gates are empty or have the default planes in them. (The only gates with real liveries) are with my FSDream Scenery. I want to just add real liveries to the gates at all airports. I never had luck with Ultimate Traffic - but I have version 1. It was too cmplicated to get plnes at the gates. I noticed most add ons are now old. I see Flight X and UT2. Probably more. So what is the best add on to just add planes with real liveries at the gates. I don't want anything too complicated. Your advice would be appreciated. Thanks Paul

Howdy guys, I´m no very long into this and have a pretty solid knowledge about add ons. I guess I can see in the first minute whether it was worth the money or not. Lately I had some great investment like the A2A-planes (Yeah P-P-51D all the way) or VRS remarkably well made F/A-18E. There were some yet undecided, as not flown very often till now or not great but not that bad either, (not easy to find some free time with an that university stuff going on) like the Aerosoft OV-10 and F-14 or Virtavia´s A-4 Skyhawk. I want to upgrade to FSI, but I haven't yet found any major change that justifies that for me. The elimination of cloud popping definitely would. Plus, I am not ready to jump ship and go over to the dark side. Regards, Wil OpusFSI does include a Selective Update mode to eliminate most if not all cloud shifts (please read the OpusFSI literature). However, I still recommend the improved OpusFSI Cloud Smoothing and also note OpusFSI requires far fewer weather updates. Hi Guys So what is the deal with this new Hong Kong scenery release? http://flightsoftglobal.com/hkpressrelease/hkpressrelease.htm I fly a lot in Asia so am very interested. They make it sound like the best scenery ever. Five years in the making, but for all the bragging on the press release and with a Eur70 price tag, they don't offer a video clip?? Hello, My current subscription of Navigraph has come to an end and I have to renew it. Since I have a choice between Navigraph and NavData Pro I was wondering which of the two is more complete. Hey there! I'm extremely late to this thread I know.. in fact I'm new to AVSIM so please forgive me if this has already been covered! I'm unable to find the download to the GSX Alternate voices anywhere, including the provided link and in the AVSIM Library.. I'm guessing it has been removed? I am trying to set up 3 monitors in FSX ... middle front view, sides left and right view. When I go into FSX and click either option to go to full screen I just get a distorted view of the cockpit, a blank screen for a second, then distorted view again in a never ending loop. <_< Does anyone know what the problem could be? :huh: Thank you for reading my post.

Another gripe re commercial airport products. Why do commercial producers such as Aerosoft put out airports without the option of adding static models. Unless prepared to up the traffic to frame crippling levels, all the airports appear practically deserted. Again I compare this to Gary Summons superb UK 2000 airports where the option is available & it doesn't cripple the frame rates. Is this just laziness on the part of the commercial big boys? I find that the night lighting, both on approach and on the taxiways for commercial FSX airports i.e. Aerosoft mega airports & the like, is blurred & fuzzy. Why can't they achieve lighting such as Gary Simmons UK 2000. This is crisp & absolutely spot on. Is there any way to improve the lighting in the other commercial products, or are we stuck with runways that are just a bar of light until right on top of them? Tony Merry

I am wondering if anybody has Active Sky Next and can help me. I posted in their forum already and have heard nothing back. I read through the manual and find nothing really about how cloud thickness works. Is the higher the number, less visibility or vice versa? Can anybody help me with the difference in clouds 1/1 up to 8/8. Thanks.

Would someone please be able to give me a tutorial on how to set custom camera views in FSX. I know you can use Ezdock but I have heard that it is very hard to use. I tried FsRecorder but I was unable to assign a hockey to it. I would ideally like to link a custom view with a hot key eg say f9. I am comfortable editing a cfg file. I downloaded a programme called FscameraX 1.1 which I thought would be ideal, but every time I started it on my Windows 8 machine it froze (if anyone has managed to get it going on W8 I would dearly like to know how). Looks like FT is close to releasing their CYYZ scenery. The pic on their FB seems to indicate this.

I installed addon scenery for an airport, and there are black areas on the ground in various shapes. I have other versions of this airport in the Scenery Library, but I only select one at a time. The author thinks my other versions of this airport are causing interference and creating the black areas. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hello. I recently got accufeel and I'm sure I've read somewhere when running it with asn with the asx 320 and pmdg 777 and 747 you need to disable and change some settings in accufeel is this correct?? Any hints or tips??

Hi, I'm trying to set up the FSI client but the option "enable live weather" is greyed out. The connection to the server is working and live traffic is enabled. I have the option "enable live weather engine" ticked in the server configuration. What could be wrong ? Martin
