Hello, Yesterday I have installed OpusFSI v4.47.2. After starting this tool the operating mode stops at "VALIDATING LICENSE". A few minutes ago I have installed OpusFSI v4.47.3, but the problem hasn't gone. I can find my license file "OpusFSIUpgrade.lic" is in the folder C:\Opus Software. This problem occurs from time to time, but in most cases the problem has gone after a few hours. So what could be the problem at this time? Thanks, Patric

Hi Just watched froogles latest hanger vid and noticed he was using navigraph charts are these charts better than the ones used in the aivlasoft efb program? My subscription for the aerosoft fms files are up very soon and I'm just wondering weather to buy both the navigraph charts and fms data or to just buy the fms data for use in aivlasoft efb or stick with the aerosoft fms data I'm also wondering if having the charts on a tablet and the map on efb might also be an option worth trying what combinations do others use? thanks

So are we at the point now that after all the testing we can conclude that switching to FSX-SE is the best move ? What if any downsides still remain ?

I'm not the hardcore Add-On user, but I do use them and don't fly without. The most important ones for me include ASN and Ultimate Traffic 2 and some "light" aircraft add-ons like Overland. I know that ASN doesn't support FSX-SE yet, so if I decide to get it I'll wait for that. How is the general compatibility with Add-Ons and what about AI Aircraft from FS9 (which work fine with the original FSX) But my main question is, is it worth getting it for the improved performance and will I notice the difference when using it with Add-Ons, which can be FPS-drainer themselves ... I've heard from Simmers that you can even get double the FPS compared to the original FSX. Cheer…

Greetings, I recently acquired a nice surround sound system (5.1) for my sim. It's great! I'm now in the market for a really good AI Sound replacement. I've seen some here or there, they seem relatively inexpensive, which is always cool. I use WOAI for my AI traffic. Any advice on good payware AI sound replacements? Thanks for everyone's input! After the installation of FSXSE even do I start MSFSX I can not contact ATIS I dont get any runway for take off, nor clear for takeoff etc. does anybody have this problem? And this is happening for any new flight plan I try to make, the flight plans that where before FSXSE ATC works as normal, I try to delete FSXSE, but still the same, and also try I system restore which failed, so nothing changed, do I really need to reinstall my windows?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions for a problem that I'm having with FSX-SE. I've just done a complete re format and re install of Windows 7 64 bit and FSX-SE in an attempt to solve this problem but it's re-occurred. My system is quite old consisting of an i7 920 processer, Nvidia 580 GTX Graphics card and 12 Gb Ram. FSX-SE runs great on this machine with all the sliders to the far right with the exception of Traffic, set at 20%. Its a i5 OC to 4.3GHzz GTX 760 2GB 8GB Ram WIN 7 Home Is the basics of it I have been flying the Aerosoft Airbus and A2A C182 with 20-30 FPS using Rex both normal and soft clouds, also with Active Sky Next over ORBX England Sliders are are pretty high Thought I would try my first Night time flight tonight from LOWI to EGKK and I am having terrible issues. FPS dropping to low single figures. If I turn ASN off they jump to high 20's so it is obviously an ASN issue combined with the night time. What if anything can I do to improve this? hello, I've put " rate at which weather changes " to never but it's still changing yesterday I flew from Greece to Cyprus with weather set to thunderstorm and rain in Greece.. as I was approaching larnaca I realized that the weather was party cloudy with no rain , how can I solve this ? Apparently my FSX DX10 is starting to act really strange since I did a full reinstall of Win7 etc over a month ago. I'm one of those having issues with VAS still with the DX10 fixer enabled, but in scenarios without a lot of clouds, I can barely make it between payer airports in the NGX or PMDG 777 All this talk about FSX:SE and VAS, performance, FPS etc has gotten me exited, naturally, and since many add ons now are getting compatible with the steam version I though the time has come for change. I'm trying to do a scheduled flight with fscaptain using 737 ngx, opus and efb. I set the time in fsx to daytime and it loads up that way. Then after a minute fsx reloads and changes the time to night time. I have tried several times and each time the time reverts back to the current time. While do I turn this feature off?

Good eve, I installed VABB again today due the fact it was in FS9 a nice flight and airport and with the B77W it's more interesting. But in FSX I have a very bad elevation issue. I cam across that thread http://forum.avsim.net/topic/414443-thai-creations-mumbai-india-is-out/ but it does not fix any problem. It only appears on the runway. I'm using FS Global+Vector and FS Global 2010. Someone has a working fix for that? PS: I also checked TC FB page but it seems they are not caring about updates :/
