Do you think that any of you who own the BBS A330 could tell me what I'm doing wrong here? I'm trying to follow the tutorial (from EGCC to OMDB), but when I'm programming the MCDU, I get the error message 'Airway/Waypoint mismatch' when trying to pug in the first combination. Also, when I select the SID as they said in the tutorial, my fixes are slightly different than theirs. Is this because of my inability to use the MCDU/FMS? Or is it a bug with the aircraft? Maybe those of you who have it can tell me how to go about programming the MCDU if it is a bug? My version is the latest one, V.8, with the A330/A340.

Hey guys, I have FTX Global and FTX Global Vector currently and I'm trying to decide on a few purchases. 1. Since I have FTX Global and Global Vector, is getting the new UTX 2.0 still a good purchase? Is it redundant or will it add to the roads, bridges, lakes, beaches, etc? 2. As far as a mesh addon, I am thinking either FS Genesis or FS Global Ultimate Bundle. The problem is FS Global Ultimate doesn't have a download, it's only DVD's which is a turnoff to me. So if I get FS Genesis, do I only need the FS Genesis World Terrain Mesh or should I also buy the United States and the Europe one? I plan on flying both in the USA and Europe alot but I d…

When making an ILS approach to DTW Detroit in FSX, ATC directs us to an altitude of 2600 for runway 4L. I find that this is too high to intercept the glideslope and the plane just flies over the runway. However if I approach at 2400 I do hit the glideslope and the plane decends as it should. What file needs to be tweaked to get this to sync correctly? And how do you do it? Thanks

im planning to move on FSX :SE. but before i upgrade. i just wanna know if dovetail fixes the anti aliasing issue on FSX boxed ed.??? or do you still need to tweak the anti aliasing setting on the nvidia inspector?

For quite a while, FSX has been working good for me. I was able to get good visuals and decent performance, up to 30 FPS in rural areas and around 20 at busier airports. Recently, I performed a flight using the CLS A330 into Paris CDG by Aerosoft. My performance was ok, being at a detailed airport with lots of traffic I got around 15-20 FPS. After that, I decided to get VATSIM up and running and installed FSInn, FSCopilot and applied something called 'fsxfix' and 'load_servers_fix' to get it up and running. Hi to all, I'm using Leonardo Maddog in FSX SE and seems to works fine. My issue is that I can't eliminate the aural morse code (maybe associated with VOR or NDB tuned freq.) that's very annoying during all flight phases. I try to change freq. but not helps. Is there any button to exclude it? Thanks so much for your help in advance.

Apologies for not putting this in the actual Fly the Maddog support forum on their site, but it's completely abandoned by the developers and even registered forum users can't post without special permission (which I requested some months ago and never got)... While I've been able by trial and error to get the proper load and balance and fuel to load by using the setup manager, it's been a frustratingly inconsistent process (which in turn means I never bother flying it unless I have a ton of time to spare/waste). In FS X you can assign ANY 10 hotkeys (or key combinations) to ANY view. This is very nice because not everyone likes to cycle through all views with the S and A keys. By assigning hotkeys you can access views instantly!Strangely enough you can

G'day guys, Was just wondering if anyone knew how to update the country airfields for FSX? Am trying to simulate some cross-country flights in lieu of my instrument rating and places like Apollo Bay, Porepunkah etc. (Victoria, Aus) don't seem to exist. Everytime I save a flight manually or with fsuipc autosave there is a long pause where the sim stops responding for a few seconds. My previous fsx install never did this, any idea of what is causing this? Sometimes when it pauses it doesn't recover and fsx stops responding altogether.

Hi, I have installed FSX gold edition on a new PC including some addons. Now I realize that some of the changes of the button assignments on the keyboard and sliders regarding graphics, aircraft, scenery, weather and traffic are not saved even I saved the particular flight. Also the silencing of the FSX music does not work. When I start this saved flight afterwards the buttons and the sliders are not there where I set them before. . In addition to that I get CTDs very often with g2d.dll error messages. Is there anyone who could help me to get out of this mess? When I was using FS9, there was a utility that you placed in the scenery directory that would reposition all of the default objects like Dodger's Stadium in Los Angeles and the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco to their geographically correct locations. The file name was something like qrlpt and it was freeware. Does anyone know: 1) If it works with FSX objects to do the same thing and 2) where the file can be found? I've tried searching for it both at simviation websites as well as google with no luck, so far.

Hello everyone, today I fired up my simulator and was prompted by ASN that it couldnt connect to FSX anymore because of access rights. Upon checking, I also noticed that all addon entries were gone from the menu bar (FSUIPC, fspassengers, PMDG, AccuFeel, all of them) The dll.xml is there and wasnt changed recently (I alsready tried a backup from 3 days ago, no results). I also dont have any antivirus active that could block certain files. Using Win7 64bit and FSX Acceleration. Has anyone else experienced such an issue and can help? Thanks for any advice....

Hello ppl, with AP engaged, moving the flaps above the 10 degrees, the throttle cut to idle, and no way to move it. before today, this never happened. it happens only with default 737 any help please? thanks

Sorry, I applogize to use blue FSX-SE. Hope Jim will not get to angry. I no longer have a dual system and rreinstalled FSX-Steam. FSX has been uninstalled. I had no pproblems with any of the FSDT software including GSX with dual install. After stand alone steam install everything appeared to work just fine including all of the FSDT and Flight beam. Now I am having problems with the couatl error closing down FSX-SE when starting in any FSDT airports. I have reinstalled some of the airports and then the addon manager but each time couatl error occurs shutting down FSX. Below is a typical error message in couatl.err. Hi The last time I was useing Flight simulator in FS 2004 and the first FSX I bought Peter Dawsons program. When I bought a download of Flight Sim Comander I t would not install and I was informed by Just Flight That it did not suport the free inclusion of FSUIPC and was given credit. If I purchase FSUIPC will I then be able to install and use FS Comander in FSX Gold I would prefer FS Navigator but I am told it as Problems with FSX. Is there any add-on which speeds up Microsoft FSX ATC speech? Some time ago I heard a youtube video that definitely sounded like standard FSX ATC, but with a much faster delivery, and shorter pauses. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find it again. I'm pretty sure it was not one of the current stand-alone ATC programs like Pro ATC or Radar Contact. Any ideas what it might have been? Bryn

Hey guys, This problem just recently started happeneing. The FPS in my virtual cockpit is fine. The problem is occurring in the Spot view mode. On the ground, the spot view works fine with great FPS. Though, when climbing higher in altitude and even reaching cruise, i am experiencing a significant amount of intermittent stutters. Again, the FPS in the virtual cockpit is fine at all times, but the exterior spot view when climbing and cruising is causing stutters. I have my cfg file tweaked by bojotes cfg tweaker, I use an external frame limiter to lock my frames at 50 (i have tried locking it lower but the stutters persist), I defrag my computer regularly, i have not i…

I'm experiencing very bad sound stutters & puses when flying in FSX. They last for 1-3 sec & are very severe when landing & you hear the RA call-outs 30, 20, 10....makes smooth landings impossible, but they also are present at altitude. They are worst when flying an heavy addon like PMDG NGX w Fs2crew & Coolsky DC-9. The thing is when I press Q & mute the sound the stutters are gone & everything is smooth. Returning to FSX after a break of a couple of years I'm rusty to say the least! I was carefully installing scenery add ons without any issues, followed by Traffic360. I noticed there was no aircraft movement other than the odd GA Cessna, etc This was at LHR, KDEN and KLAX for instance. It then occured to me there wasn't much going on before installing it. After much investigation I bit the bullet and wiped everything. I used Revo Uninstaller Pro and checked the registry. The only two items still remaining are Track IR and Simconnect. I've had the TQ for over a month but put the out of sync to aside. But its now bugging me that when i move my TQ 737 jetmax levers 3 1/4 the way up, the 737 NGX thrust levers are already at full. Does anyone own the 737 TQ and 737 NGX that could point me in the right direction on how to solve this. I've tried about everything from setting the MIN and MAX in FSUIPC but that didn't help. Hello, ive recently purchased earth simulations Isle of Man boxed edition and i'm having trouble installing it. ive put the 4 disks in and installed them and then it came up with "installation complete" so them I started FSX and it wasn't there? Do I have to use ESI installer? Because when I started the ESI installer and put the product key in and it seemed to be downloading it off the internet? so what are the 4 disks for? Am I missing something hear? Any help or advice is much appreciated, Thanks :smile:
