I made a short video of the GTN750 in FSX. Excuse the quality and stuttering I'm new at this video record stuff. If you have any questions or would like to see other flights with the unit let me know. I don't own the 650 yet but plan to purchase soon.

Soooo, Last night I am cruising over Nebraska in my Aerosoft Airbus 319 logging a much needed flight for my VA. I step away for dinner and when I return my 30 FPS has dropped to between 5-7 and my VAS is creeping up on a OOM quick. I quickly noticed that just to the right of the Addon tab in the FSX task bar there are now a series of aircraft names, in this case they were Challengers, stretched across the screen in the task bar. I clicked on them expecting to see separate windows or options or something and nothing. They would highlight but that's it. Hi guys. Yeah, I am having problems loading any addon aircraft, the free ones, simple 737 aircraft, yet, I can load all the default fsx aircraft just fine. When I trry to load a free one, like I download last night, a 737 700/800/900 pack, with various liveries, plus the newer 737 VC, I get to loading scenery, the classic 6% load, it then crashes fsx and fsx reboots. This happens with all addon aircraft, like the free 777/200's, 787 and such, most 747's. Some, I guess that use more default files, will load fine, like I downloaded the huge 747 livery pack, with like 30 liveries, and they will load fine and fly. Hi I was just wondering if somebody could inform me on the correct way to install OzX world of simulations Perth International airport scenery, there are two files, scenery and texture but Im not to sure where to put them, I guess its either the FSX addon scenery folder or the FSX scenery\world\scenery and texture folder Im not sure which one as there is no install doc's, or if anyone has a YPPH option that would be great. I have Fly The Maddog addon for my FSX, it's a very nice simulation, but i'd still like something new which is also realistic, but by today's graphics standards for FSX. The Maddog i have right now is not a native model, so the graphics are quite poor. Is anybody with me that we need a new realistic MD-80/MD-90 or B717?

Hello all. Back in "the day" I was a huge FS9 devotee and spent a lot of time on these forums but as of 2010 or so I basically dropped out of the hobby. However, I recently came across the Steam edition of FSX and having never tried the newer version of MSFS before and having also just purchased a fairly nice laptop I decided the price of $13.99 was an irresistible opportunity to give it a whirl finally. Sadly, had I found it a few days earlier, or had I waited a few days longer I could have had it for a fiver, but oh well - still a deal afaic. For some reason the real world weather function in my version of FSX appears to have quit working. When I try to download real world weather I always get exactly the same conditions. It's as if I can no longer access the weather on line at the various airports I fly out of. Any ideas? Did this functionality go away for everyone, or just for me? Blindmelon

Does anyone know if they are still developing new products? They have been silent for a long time now. Too bad as they produced some of my favorite aircraft.

Thanks to previous help on this forum, I downloaded and installed the Embraer 145 from www.rikoooo.com; however, the aircraft does not display a virtual cockpit. I then downloaded and installed the virtual cockpit files from poskyarchive.com and still don't have a cockpit. Can anyone help me get a virtual cockpit going for this aircraft?

Hi Folks, Good any of you good people let me know if FSX SE work ok with Nvidia NI? and if it does do you just select the FSX profile. I have nor downloaded my copy yet as I do not wish to have dual installations re Reg entry issues and some of the addons are still not there yet.. Many Thanks

most modern games allow vsync to be capped at your monitors refresh rate but how come adding "ForceWindowedVsync" into your cfg only works (said by tweaking guides) if you set "vsync" to "1/2 refresh rate" in nvidia inspector so you have to lock your frames at half of your refresh rate, i was thinking if you set "vsync" to "force on" this could work and you might be able to lock your frames at your monitors refresh rate so it is twice as higher as what you have set before. I havent tried this and does anyone know if this will work? Thanks

Hey. I have a problem. My FSX requires an activation key, but when I enter the key, the key doesn't seem to connect. I've entered the key a lot of times before, but this time, something went wrong. I reinstalled FSX, because I had problems with it. My FSX:Acceleration key doesn't seem to work either... Is my key expired or anything? Can I contact microsoft and get the keys updated, or just get some new keys? Please help... :Praying: :Praying:

I downloaded the latest update, but when I go from VC cockpit to outside camera view , back to cockpit view I find myself looking at a partial cockpit. I correct the problem by right clicking then manually changing the view to VC, then I'm ok.I need to un-install the latest EZDOC update.

I've tried downloading FS Recorder and can't open the file. Can someone recommend a good file opener ?

I activate the speed brake and after I'm on the runway, I push "R " on my keyboard, the key I designated in FSX to activate the reverse thrusters under the command " decrease throttle quickly ". After I do a replay I notice the speed brake panels on top of the wing are activated before I'm on the runway. Also, The engines are open before I'm on the runway. I hear the reverse thrusters the second I push " R " and they are working, but the image is wrong.

Hi guys, I a planing to buy the "BANGKOK AIRPORT VOL1 SUVARNABHUMI INTERNATIONAL FSX", I noticed that the airport is not in the FSX standard database (under ICAO VTBS) in order for example to create a flight plan in FSX, is there a way to update FSX database so that it shows it? Thanks!

FSX folder alone is 150GB not counting all the 3rd party external folders on my hard drive. Perhaps remove addons?

Let me start with, NO it is not pirated and this just started happening. I haven't flown the old bird in a while and with the release of the new iFly 747 V2, I gained a renewed interest in this magnificent bird. Here's what happens, load the 747 and hear a little bit of something like an engine winding down for maybe a couple of seconds. As you can see in the pics, this is what I am greeted with immediately in the cockpit. None of the switches are clickable, everything in the plane is dead. I've been swimming since the 80's. I've lurked around here for years under different user names. I've contributed freeware but quit doing that. I received my copy of FSX before the release date. Bottom line it was a pig. I've reinstalled once in a while when snake oil hacks would get the community jumping with similar results. I have a modern machine I-7 with 16gb of ram and an nvidia 7 series card with Nick's tweaks Along with others. Guess what, FSX is still a pig. I keep going back to FS2004 that has ran flawless for years with max settings and a ton of add ons. Hey, so. This happens when I load up the 738 in the United (merger) repaint from the PMDG website. It only does this on this repaint, I can switch to another one without restarting FSX and it goes back to normal just fine. Not a helluva big deal, but I am mildly curious. Thanks.
