I just wanted to say that wilco has did a good job with airport 2002 vol1.the textures look really good and I think the 737 model is okay too.I think the 737 gives us an idea of how the future ac cockpits in fs will look like. and i think they did a pretty good job.I also wanted to say that i dislike all the comment about the 737 saying its crap.Come on people what do you expect. five or what highly detailed aiports and a state of the art airplane model?.I just do think this is realistic. if you want a good plane then wait for A320. It's here at last. I've just released UKRoute Version 1.0. This is an electronic version of the Standard Route Document for flying IFR in the UK. It is available for download from www.hawarden.org.uk/ .Just look in the download section. Be sure to download its accompanying file which is the data for this airac cycle . . yes it will be updated every airac with "Real World Nav Data". An absolute must if your'e going to fly online. I'm hoping this will be adopted by VATSIM-UK as the definitive flight planner for flying IFR in the UK.ThanksGraham

Help on Mesh & landclass, is there a way to install these scenerys.I put them in scenery addons whent to that area and it covered up the default area with blank tiles like the old fs4 scenery, Tried putting them in to there own scenery file called mesh and at different levels but they still covered the default scenery, some of the buildings would stick out but the scenery would be flat and green,black or light green, Thanks for any help

I'm having a bit of an issue between FS2002 and my Logitech Wingman Digital 3D joystick (non force feedback). FS2002 will not detect my joystick at all when it loads up. In order to make it work, I gotta go to the Game Controllers applet on the Control Panel (it says its ok) and somehow this makes it show up in FS2002, then it works flawlessly. FS2002 always used to detect it before, but during the last few weeks, its not detecting. I haven't made any changes to FS2002 since then, other than a few planes. I even tried a full reinstall of FS2002 and it still dont detect. Any other games (They happen to be Microsoft Games too) detect my joystick, but FS2002 is a exception, …

I run a 1.4 Athlon with 512 DDR. I have a number of addon airport sceneries using LAGO's FSSE and as the scenery complexity increases, so does my propensity for stuttering. Not unexpected though. My question: will the addition of Justin's Land Class files further increase the likelyhood of increased stuttering?Thanks.

At first I was really amazed by the MYTraffic. After a year of 30% ATC, I was able to boost ATC to 100% and still have good frame rates, even in NYC. At some point, though, things took a turn for the worse. Now frame rates are poor even at 30% ATC at busy airports. I've added some other addons and have uninstalled and reinstalled MyTraffic once already. I suspect that it might have duplicated itself in the process (twice as many added runways, gates, etc) but I can't prove it. I just want to really uninstall it and start over. The last uninstall left something behind because there was a "MyTraffic ATC" listed in the Scenery library. Does anyone have any experience with th…

I have an HP 8570C, built in 1998, with a PIII 450 with MMX processor. The system powers a Ti4600, CD ROM, CD-R, plus hard drive and 3.5 inch drive. The souond card is on the motherboard.The power supply is a 160 watt, and is 4 years old. Sounds like a 250 watt power supply should be plenty?Thoughts.Rick

I recently found an aircraft that has an FMC in it -- it is reasonably complex and gives you all kinds of information related to different phases of jetliner flight for a large number of aircraft. From what I have seen so far, it gathers its information from the Sim as you are flying . Although it was installed in this particular aircraft panel , it came with no information -- so I went looking for it and discovered that it is an "old" FS98 gauge by Tom Corson. But it appears to be quite happy working in FS2002.I have managed to successfully transfer this gauge to a couple of my other freeware jets .Is anybody using this gauge? What other freeware FMCs are out there?Than…

I seem to get a kind of blurred texture beyond the line in the pic attached. Is there anyway to get rid of it? Can't be the fps lock, it's at 20 and it stays from 18 to being pegged at 20 unless I fly in large, detailed airports. Thanks,EDIT: Better quality pic.

Has anyone modified the PSS panel so that it works as an A340 panel? I mean changing a few gauges and such. I saw one in the Screenshot forum awhile back. I have the PSS A320 package, and I love the panel, but I want to have a realistic A340 panel too.If anyone has made these modifications, could they post here or email me the .cfg or something? Hi All:I have an HP with a PIII 450 with MMX. It uses an Intel 82443 Chipset with GART. I see other people post info on updating their chipset drivers. They talk about ALI or VIA.I've tried to find a place on my system where such info resides, but its not there. I've asked HP for the specifics on my system, but they can't tell me. I want to ensure that the drivers for the processor and sound are up to date.I've updated the Phoenix BIOS from the HP web site. Where do I go from here?Rick

I remember seeing a couple of years ago some small to middle sized aircraft (Cessna Caravan - but I'm not sure)with passengers visible in rear view. I think it came with a demo of a scenery of the Caribbean. Does anyone with a better (younger) memory remember? Just downloaded and took the bird around the patch for a quick flight. She is pretty nimble, and doesn't seem to bleed speed off very quickly-- or easily ;) Having been an A+P at Evergreen air center with alot of experience on their 9's I can honestly say I am impressed!The VC looks great-- but not outstanding, since its not photorealistic. The gauges were very readable, and the lighting was perfect. Again, it was just a 5 minute flight-- but overall I am very impressed and happy with my purchase.

I first would like to say thank you to all the guys who design aircraft for FFG. I have a question that's been bothering me every since you guys released your new DC10 aircraft. I have noticed that the 2D panel doesn't have landing lights visible at night but the virtual mode does. The only problem here is that unless your planning on developing a virtual cockpit in the future, it makes no since to have this feature included in the 3D view. My question to FFG is why didn't you program landing lights in the 2D window in the first place????Hope I don't sound to direct, just wondering...

I can't get the APU to stabilize and I lose electrical.what I'm not sure about is......APU Door Switch ....AUTO Is it set in Auto when you first open the panel? APU start....what is the normal operatimg RPM? mine goes to about 90 %.EXH temp guage....what's normal temp ?Mine goes to 8 and then I lose power shortly there after.also....APU GEN OFF light does not extinguishAPU BUS L + R lights do not alumminate green when switched to ONI have switched all AC cooling switches to AUTO and turned ON the APU Air con coolerThanks in advance.Greg

What are the main differences between the retail version and this trial version? I took the two PC Pilot logos that were plastered all over Gatwick out of the textures folder with no noticable adverse effects. The scenery is excellent. But I do have a question about the Terminal 4 stands at Heathrow. This screenshot is what is displayed currently at the airport, but I thought that those stands were a bright yellow color?? Any help appreciated. Also anyone know of any decent AFCAD overlays for these airports? Thanks,Funky
