I made a FANTASTIC discovery this morning!!!Go to Toolbar Options ( on the Google Toolbar - I assume you DO have aGoogle Toobar)Go to "Experimental Features" - then to "Browser Control"There you will find this -----------------------------------BROWSER CONTROLThe onUnload JavaScript event is most often used to open pop-up windows asyou leave a page, which can be an annoyance. The following feature willclear the onUnload event after loading each page.------------------------------------------------------------I selected this option because I often get "pop up boxes" that occur when Iam leaving a web page (very annoying) -- BUT , more importantly, I have discovered that the…

I mostly fly Bill Grabowski's ERJ145. While practicing crosswind landings, I do a normal crab into wind on final, but just before touchdown, when I'm supposed to dip my windward wing into wind and line up the aircraft with rudders, the aircraft does not respond as a real a/c would. It yaws wildly and does other unpredictable motions. This is no reflection on Bill's a/c. I experience similar problems with other a/c. Has anyone perfected a solid "dip the wing/kick the rudder" crosswind landing?

When FS2002 first came out there was a website of fixes, tweaks etc..ways to make the crash detail come back, fix the New York scenery error etc.. is that site, or a similar site still around?? I just recently upgraded and of course had to reinstall... so all the little tweaks aren't configured in my sim anymore..Thanks,Chris

jerrycwo4Last week someone was trying to move that new Reality AC gauge around on his panel. I installed the same gauge last weekend and it ended up right in the middle of my Falcon 50 panel. I tried 'playing' with the numbers that placed it there but I never could get it to move. Has anyone figgured out how to change to 'gauge numbers' to move the gauge to another spot on the panel? Since then I have UNinstalled the gauge but would like to have it back in another spot on my Falcon 50 panel.jerry

jerrycwo4I just purchased a SONY PCG-GRV 550 Laptop to use with my digital photography and since it had the room on the hard drive decided to also install FS2002. Man, was I surprised at how good it looked !!!I guess I should NOT have been surprised as it is more powerful than my twin-processor Northwest Falcon desktop. This new laptop has a Intel P4 2.4 GHz processor, 30GB hard drive, 512 MB RAM and a 7500 RADEON Graphics card with 32Mb memory. It also has a 16.1 screen with a 1280 x1024 resolution. It installed FS2002 with a 30 FPS (locked) and that's where I left it and that's where it stays, 80% of the time. The picture is really great!!!!! This laptop is in the $20…

Does anyone remember the bright green/white airport beacons from FS95/98 - how you could spot them from miles up and miles out? Where did these go? Some airports in FS2000/2K2 appear to have "scenery elements" for rotating beacons, but you can't see them from the air. This seems like a silly oversight, but an important one for the VFR night pilot. Yet, the beacons atop radio towers are as big as a house in places. How did this get overlooked through 2 product releases? How hard can it be to implement? Arrr. Anybody know of a 3rd party solution to this?J

A few months ago, I upgraded and did a clean install of Windows XP Home edition. Ever since then, I've been suffering an uncommanded view switch in FS2002 Professional. What happens is that the view will switch for about 1/2 second to the left rear and then switch to the front view (looking out over the main panel). This is particularly annoying on final approach. I have tried reinstalling FS2002 but I still have the problem. What I've noticed:1. It is infrequent (in other words, it doesn't happen, for example, every 30 seconds). Some flight it happens only once or twice while on others, it may happen 10 or more times.2. I mostly fly Wilco's 767PIC and have also rei…

Hi,I expect to purchase the new Flight 1 DC-9 today. However, I was wondering about the internal cockpit views. Are there 8 views? Are there any Wing Views? I know many don't care for them, but I've always liked looking at the wings. Nonetheless, all the comments on this plane seem very positive, so I'll get it, and look forward to the Meridian. Stan

After the long awaited antisipation of the excellent TB 20 I quickly D/Led it the morning it came out. I had installed it but didn't get around to fly it until a few days later when I noticed a patch for it. So I put the patch in and decided to fly.Plopped myself onto a runway and opened the throttle wide open. After regaining control because of right turning of the airplane (funny, in real life airplanes have a left turning tendency), On my CH flight sim yoke usb, I had my trim wheel full nose up and the airplane wouldn't budge off the pavement at 70 kts so I dropped in one flap setting and still nothing, well heck I gave it full flaps and still nothing. With all this an…

  23. Hi all. I thought I'd post some screenshots here of the Captain Sim 727, from the temporary technical release version. This particular livery is a fictional one, made by the talented Ed Knapp. I love this product so much I'd even recommend the technical version to everyone who's a fan of the world's first trijet.

people actually changed the subject in their replies so we didn't have to thumb through all of them to see what the response were? Classic example - "What is your home field?" Dozens answered this but how many of you actually opened each one? I spend enough time on this forum as it is. I think it would be great if we made it just a tad more efficient! Just a minor pet peeve ;-)David
