From FSPLANET.com ??I sure as hell never gave anyone permission to upload my files there, and the readme files clearly state that they should not be on any site that charges for downloads.Any ideas?Cheers

Does anyone know where I can download this...not just textures but the whole plane? The recent Finnair file upload seems to have disappeared.

As I read on and on about A2k2v1 I can kind-of understand where all of these people are coming from. I guess if you did pay so much for a product that is quite average you would be quite heated. But I think if we want WILCO to really do something we need to start emailing WILCO themselves, make them work for your money! State your opinions concens and constructive criticisem but don't just do it here at the forums go to the maker and see something happen. But a thing to remember if you are going to state your concerns do it in a nice pleasant way, don't go around bashing a company becuase I can guarantee you you will not get a reply. Pilot737

I know that FS 2002 comes with a Video Recorder but you need FS 2002 to play it back. Is there another way to record a short 1 hour flight and save it on your hard drive in an ASF or other efficient video format with out buying a lot of special hardware? Thanks!Barry

Ddid anybody download the new 737-400 panel 734pnlv2.zip by Targan Unutmaz? Its a nice panel, but FS2002 keeps crashing using it. I get a error with the NTdll.dll file. Anybody else having this problem, or is it just my machine pi$$ing me off? ;)Is there a good 737 user/PC friendly panel out there? Thanks.

  9. As far as the wings falling off while on Autopilot (any of my aircraft)? Or has anyone had any problems with the Navy Gulfstream IV-SP Cargo getting it off the ground, or any flying problems? The visual errors I've already fixed and will upload next week. Thanks Rick Sasala

Greetings,I'm having to reinstall FS2002 and had a question regarding reinstalling Project AI. In the past, I've went through and replaced the airfiles with the version 2 air files manually. Is this still necessary to do, or do the downloads on the web site now contain version 2 already installed? If the ones on the website contain the updated airfiles, I'd much rather save my self some time and download the updated ones. I posted this on their forum as well. Thanks for your help.Sincerely,Hans

The Henschel HS P75 by Steve Robinson is a must have if you want a fun, excellent handling aircraft.Ok it has some tiny flight dynamic issues but overall this aircraft flies beautifully and gives a very realistic drag approach landing experience more so than most I have tried. It comes equipt with a VC and is freeware.Well worth a downloadPeter

I just installed the FSIUPC 2.94 and now I am only able to get one client to connect to MS Multiplayer. I use the PSS A3xx and can only get AIBridge or SquawkBox to connect. Any Ideas? Should I go back to an earlier version of FSIUPC?Thanks Kevin

Hey, i got Wilco's airport 2002 today, and i am very impressed with the scenery, but amhighly disapointed with the pile of crap they decided to call a 737!! i get awful framerates, bad animation, the VC is dreadful, the whole concept and idea is there, unfortunately, it was not put to use. Sorry if this offends anyone in particualr, but, after using for literally 5 minutes, i hate the aircraft.Any one agree?Aled, Wales, UK

Just announced at fsnordic.net:L&P closes 27.11.02 / 19:10 UTC A totally unexpect happening today: Lennart Arvidsson from L&P Scenery has accounced that they will stop their scenery creation. This seems to be because of a single user comment at FS Nordic's discussion area's Swedish forum where a person had made a negative comment about their sceneries. After finding the comment, mr.Arvidsson simply stated that they will close down. The exactly similar situation was seen some time ago when a major flight sim site made a review of mr.Arvidsson's ground textures. The reviewer's comments lead to the closure of his texture production - and now the same issue with scener…

Great utility, but I'm a little surprised nobody has commented on one of its deeper features available to the inveterate tweaker constantly in search of his/her nirvana ;) Select the Texture tab and under Texture filtering settings there is an 'Optimize' button. This takes you to a page where it appears you can optimize the filtering mode for one or multiples of up to 4 texturing stages. You can also force such optimization in software by checking the 'Always optimize selected stages box'I can see the advantage of restricting the Direct 3D driver to optimize filtering mode for only one texturing stage (in my case stage 0) since this must lead to a saving in processing reso…

Hello, those who own the SF.260 by RealAir Simulations might want to check the file library for repaints. I did and found 9 nice repaints. My favourite one is the USAF Style Bare Metal SF.260 by E. Joiner. In that repaint you even have a new pilot. He is really looking like a USAF instructor with his sunglasses and whiskers ;-)enjoy !

A while back, there was a thread here on this promising jet. Abacus even had one available for FS2002. Recently, Abacus pulled the Eclipse jet from sale for FS2002 without comment.Even more interesting, Eclipse announced they are terminating their relationship with Williams. Makes me wonder about the project's viability now--with the lightweight Williams engine being a key factor in the Eclipse's design. Eclipse says they are negotiating with other engine mfrs, but I wonder if anything is as close to certification as the Williams engine was.So at the moment, it seems that Maverick is the only low cost twinjet being sold. Cessna has the Mustang on the distant horizon.…

Hi all,Could someone help me out here? How would I write a really basic program for FS2002? What I want to do is have an alarm sound when the master caution/warning light comes on on a particular aircraft. I have a .wav file, how would I get the file to replay continuously in a loop whenever the light came on?Thanks

Open Letter to all SimmersI believe that you may be aware that I have been producing textures and utilities for the Flight Sim community now for many years. In fact for longer than many Flight Sim sites have existed. I would like to advise my fellow simmers about some news items and comments if I may: (1) Control 2000 softwareThe Control 98/2000/2000SE aircraft management program that I was developing and maintaining has been quite a success in its time but I ceased work on it a while ago because I just can't keep up with the variation for graphics for FS2002 and CFS3 now requiring support. There are now many more appropriate programs that do a much better job - so in th…

Hi,I'm wondering if there is any help (FAQs, etc.) for how the panel system works in simplified terms..specifically I don't understand why, when I download a plane, for example from a virtual airlines, it does not have the virtual cockpit..(this is just one example).. I see the panel.cfg aliases to some other FS2002 aircraft (let's say the 747).. so if the 747 has a virtual cockpit, and another plane aliases to it, shouldn't it have the same virtual cockpit??Also, for example, the Cessna 182 has (inside the panel directory) pictures of rear views, and other views.. the Cessna 172 does not have these pictures.. but yet it has views in those directions.. this doesn't make a…

OK, just curious. How slow is your computer and how happy are you with it and FS. I have an Intel Celeron 533 Mhz, 191 Megs Ram and a Radeon VE (32 MB PCI). This is certainly not the slowest system by a long shot but not exactly cutting edge. For the most part I'm very happy with it. I get frame rates around 15 with most settings set somewhere in the middle. How slow are you? Thanks and Happy Holidays. Greg in KAVL
