A few days ago, AVSIM published a review of Ralph Zimmerman's Three Real Flights program which was one of the most biased and innacurate pieces of 'journalism' I've ever read on this site.To list all the reasons why that review should never have been posted would take pages of text here - suffice it to say that you should all read the review (listed on the right side of the front page under 'RealATC Review',) and then click on the red feedback button at the end of the review for Ralph's (and others) response. It makes very interesting as well as excellent reading!It also provides an insight into the 'workings' of an AVSIM reviewer!!

I noticed there are some new missions for CFS3 in the Avsim file library, how are these created, I mean is there a mission editor out?. There is rwy 26L operating at EDDF. It also has its own ILS procedure and frequency of 111.35But, the problem is that this frequency is not availible in FS2k2. Hi,A couple of days ago, a few pilots and flight instructors got into an informal debate at the local FBO (LLMG)...Some argued that upon entering a stall, you shouldn't touch the ailerons until fully recovered, the other group stated that since the wing roots generally stall first you'd still have enough aileron authority without risking aggravating the stall into a spin...Now...I am a bit confused about this topic...I know that the wing roots stall first but was always told during my training to refrain from touching the ailerons during a stall...I'd like to hear your opinions on that...Twister

I just went through a reformat of my computer (I hate it when that happens!) and re-installed FS2002 -- a top priority, of course.I had downloaded a program a few months ago that reorganized autogen scenery, making it look more realistic by positioning buildings more squarely on the surface -- as if they were bordering streets, as opposed to just being plopped anywhere on the ground.I cannot find this terrific little program now and cannot remember the name of it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, can you provide me with the file name?Thanks in advance!David

Well I thought this was over...but I guess it's not.On behalf of CaptainSim (note that they don't know about this or are endorsing it in anyway)...I am posting this on the main Microsoft FS forum and the CaptainSim support forum (I have a funny feeling it may get deleted off of the main forum).Most of you know of this whole CaptainSim 727 issue. The thing I think many of you DON'T KNOW, is the steps CaptainSim has taken to attempt and resolve the mistakes they made.In one example - a member of the CaptainSim team replied to a "request for refund" with the fact they would grant the refund, but didn't believe the request warranted "loyalty" so they would not sell to anyone…

I've searched the net for this answer, but I haven't found anything.. and to top it all off I don't know if I'm properly entering it in the search!!Anyways, the problem is this... every once and a while, the image on the screen (usually the desktop) kind of explodes out at me, like its coming through the screen like that little freak in the movie The Ring... the screen then goes black, and then it resets itself to normal..Vidcard is Leadtek Ti 4200 128MB, drivers are 40.72, monitor is Optiquest V95 with the refresh mod (it was doing this before the refresh mod as well)Thanks,Chris
