I took a Cessna 152 up this evening at sunset in the Uk with my young son.At the last minute I grabbed the camera from the car and took a few snaps on route.So how about all you realworld pilots doing the same as you soon forget your flights and you dont need complex aircraft to get some nice shots ;-)Peter

Hello,I've got a low end computer (Celeron 950, Geforce 2mx400 64 meg video), and am running FS2002 okay with hardware settings adjusted to my liking. I'm running all of the default planes with great framerates and also PIC767 with the Posky visual model and am having decent frames as well.I wonder if all the new details and instruments with FSD's new Seneca will be too much for my system to run fluidly? Does anyone have any experience with a similiar hardware setup or know of recommended minimum hardware requirements?Thanks a lot.

I just got A2k2v1 and had a look at the scenery. Not bad but could be better. I have only one question that couldn't be answered by the Wilco Manual included. How do I make the docking system to work and the service vehicles to work?

Hi All My video card is a gefrorce 4 Ti 4200. Recentley i changed drivers on some advice from 40.72 to 30.82,after rebooting my system is now telling me that i now have a Ti 4400,bit strange. I decided to try and rectify it,uninstalled 30.82 and reinstalled 40.72 but everything is still telling me i have a Ti4400 not a 4200. I dont see any performance problems. Should i leave it or will i have to make sure it is reading properly. Thanks in advance Shaun.

Pilots, does anyone know how to get this to work together? i placed the loadedit in Posky directory but everytime i run it it just says runtime error 5? I have tried the Posky forum but its down. Any ideas people.ThanksRB211

Can anyone who has a Voodoo5 card help me? I'm having trouble with the way the card renders the clouds in the sky. The nearby ones are fine, but the distant flat ones bounce and dance all over the sky. If I'm sitting on the ground and look up at high cirrus clouds I get just about dizzy. Very annoying as you know. I think I read somewhere a long time ago that there's a way to rename some of the clouds, but I don't know if it works or what to do from here. Can someone shed some light on this?Thanks in advance.Ary

hi all i have a P3 800 256 meg ram and GForce 2 MX 400 64 meg ram, i am thinking of upgrading to a Geforce 4 Ti 4600 64 meg card do you think i will see alot of frame rate improvements and textures will load quicker?i have the PSS747 and the textures take along time to load when i go to external viewalso i have two monitors can i set up the other monitor with the one video card or do i need to also use my current cheap PCI cardthe card i want to get has VIVO which means video capturing as well, has anyone had any problems with this card?the card is a Winfast Geforce4 A250 DDR 64MB Titanium 4200 MyVivothx

I had to re-install FS2002 and dont want a bunch of stuff clogging up the HD. Can you give me your opinion on the best all around sound pak for the default 737,747 etc? I will get it and just leave it at that.Turnip

One of the things in MSFS2002 that drives me crazy, are the roads...flying VFR..they look so bad as to not fit in with the rest of the scenery, especially with autogen buildings, trees, and so forth.Is there a way to make them look realistic instead of the jaggy, blurry, gray line that they are ????We have great trees, great mesh, improved buildings, the runways look decent, signs, awesome aircraft....and just plain old crappy looking roads.Wouldn't it be possible to develop road textures and place them like the mesh is done? or part of the mesh texturing?

As the sim opens, the pilot is looking forward,but he sees out the right hand window.He ties other views, but to no avail. Moving to virtual view, his head spins like a top, panning 360 degrees without stopping. Quickly moving to tower view, all is normal. Finally,in spot view, he swoops and dives round and round the aircraft. Can any of you detectives solve this case? Clues: The two components of Active Camera have been removed, Sky World SE is un-installed (hopefully all components), and the sim has been made to create a new config file.Thanks in advance.

1st let me say thanks to Fr. Bill who helped me get a grip on the VC lighting. This project is very close to completion. We are looking at releasing as early as next week. The main Panel, needs to be cleaned up, and the VC is still lacking a few controls. does anyone know if there is a way to edit the fs2002 atc so when you broadcast, you only use the callsign (eg. VH-ACB) and not the aircraft type.I am from Australia and we only use aircraft registrations when talking to atc.

I know this if off topic but I hopefully someone can give some advice.Past few day, when I turn my computer on (via a button on surge protector), it won't boot up. There is the normal flickering of lights for the hard drive, etc., but the monitor stays blank. Also, I don't here the normal "buzz" associated with the hard drive. I have to cycle on and off the power switch and usually ffter about 5 cycles, it will boot up as normal. Once it is on, works fine, stable, no problems. If I then do a restart/reboot, no problems. Seems to only happen when the computer has been off for a while, over night, when it starts up and is cold. I expect it is either the motherboard (…

Hi, i was wondering if it was possible that a 2 engine panel can handle a 4 engine aircraft? If you manage it manual with your throttle lever on you joystick that would be no problem at all. But when you let the Autopilot/Autothrottle handle the engines, it only controls engine 1 and 2, meaning that the other side engines does not respond to the autopilot. Is there a way to solve this?

I think that will help the easy the land diffuct a the airport.

On more than several occasions when flying IFR flight plan ATC has sent me in the wrong direction and then ignores me.I continue on thinking ATC will finally change my course but it doesn't happen.When I try to correct to the proper heading ATC tells me to expedite my turn to assigned heading.This happens at Boston,Laguardia, and San Diego so for.Anyone else experience this?Thanks,Ron
