I know this is an old question and I'm sorry about that but as you all know there is a problem with the taxi speed of the Beech 350...whether it's realistic or not ..it's a pain to keep adjusting the reversers etc....etc...I've also adjusted the "idle levers to low or whatever...anyway I've read several possible fixes to this problem and tried them all...adjusted the "devices file to 130"....which does NOT work..anyway ...here is where my stupidity comes in..I was looking at different files in the fs2002 folder and seeing what each one was and I came across one that had that line to adjust the "axis throttle speed from 127 to 130..so I did that and lo and behold it fixed …

To all of ya that have Wilco a2k2 V2.I have installed the package recently and i have a big problem with it. The cockpit is working great, and i even get acceptable framerates (12 to 13 FPS). but now the problem. i cannot switch any flip or press any button :(the mouse cursor changes when i aim over a button. but then I cannot operate it. like setting a frequency.Can anyone help me out.Any help will be greatly appreciated.Kind regardsG.

Just noticed a new version of A Tuner on Guru 3D which with the latest Nvidia drivers will let you with your geforce 3 and 4 card I think enable the 6xS and 8XS anti aliasing in games which the Geforce FX will have.The only problem is that it makes FS2002 run alot slower, my frame rates went down alot at 8XS but you can notice a difference, not a huge one but there is one, but it might be handy for people who take screenshots and who just want to try and have the best image quality for taking a screen grab.www.guru3d.com is where the utility can be found.Craig Kiltie

Hi, I finaly made time to start tweeking my AI aircraft but have come across a problem. Whilst setting up flight plans for EGCC, I ended up with aircraft parked at all the wrong terminals, BA on T2, jmc on T3 etc. If it wasn't for the fact I work there and know its wrong, I could live with it! I was just wondering if there is anyway to get the correct airlines at the correct Terminal?Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated :-zhelpTomAFG.

After landing I never get the option from ground to taxi to the gate. My only options are taxi to the runway or to parking. Is there a setting I'm missing? Thanks.Dick

Just wondering if anyone would be willing to point me in the direction of a good fuel planner freeware or otherwise. Hopefully one that would calculate many variables such as aircraft weight, winds, reserve fuel, holding fuel etc and any other important considerations that I have likely missed. I finally uninstalled FS98 and FS2000.I had kept both on my HD, but after a year of flying FS2002 I realized that other than serving a sentimental purpose, they were just taking up space. All of my flying now is in FS2002. I realized it'd been several months since I did anything with FS2000, and almost a year since I did anything with FS98.Along with FS98 and FS2000 went a lot of aircraft. Is there a website that has a rather large collection of gauges available for fs2002?

When I create a flight from the FS2K2 flight planner and then load it, it appears that ATC does not follow the route in the plan! Even though ATC may say "Resume own navigation" it usually pops back in a few minutes later and redirects me to another heading which is way off the plan. A few minutes later again, it pops back in and says, "turn heading ### and resume own navigation." If you don't follow ATC instructions, ATC says GOODBYE forever!!! Do others experience this also and are there any solutions?Airbus

EditVoicePack 2.1 has a voice file included for "Piedmont", but some of the voices in MSFS plays it back as "Mont-pied". I created another voice file for "Piedmont" and it played correctly in EdtVoicePack in all the voices. I unchecked the voice file in the Standard Modifications for "Piedmont" and installed my voice file, but it still plays backward in the sim. What do I do to the voice file to make it play correctly in MSFS? I've created many voice files and I've never had this happen. I even tried using the "force variation" option, but it still won't work.ThanksRay

After much muckin' about, shiftin', sortin' and fiddlin', I can confirm - having seen many exploratory posts on this issue in the past, including my own - that the limit for 'layers' in the SCENERY.CFG file in FS2002 is 331.After that, new entries simply don't appear."Area" numbers don't seem to matter and, certainly, don't need to be the same as "layer" numbers.So if you've more than 331 scenery folders or entries, you'll need to consolidate, or have different SCENERY.CFGs for different regions, perhaps.If you knew all this, good for you, but I've never seen the definitive number to date.
