ATC will call PAI Westjet by its name "WestJet", but If I download the text-o-matic template for Westjet for DreamFleet 734 and fly it, ATC will not call it "Westjet", just something like "1134". I went to the DF aircraft.cfg and put "Westjet", West Jet" etc under "atc airline", as I have done before, and nothing. How does PAI get MSFS ATC to identify the plane as "Westjet"? I also see no reference to West Jet in Text-o-matic under airline callsign, but I see Westjet Airlines under airline name.Sorry if this is confusing. *:-* I tried to be as concise as possible.Thanks, Adam

Is there a way to replace the default 767PIC textures with the POSKY textures without using the POSKY flight model and sounds? I have sucessfully merged the PIC 767-300 PIC panel into the POSKY planes but find that the POSKY planes don't fly as well as the 767PIC whose flight model was designed by a real 757/767 pilot.So, again, I want to use POSKY textures in the 767PIC and not the PIC panel in the POSKY 767.Thanks,Robb

I am getting ready to order the FS Genesis 38.2 terrain. Before I do so I would like some comments from other people using this program. Is the change noticable? Does it affect frame rates? Is it difficult to install? ect. Thank You in advance for the assistance.

Hi There The problem i have got is when i select to use the antialiasing mode on my video card which is a geforce 4 Ti 4200 i get terrable looking textures on all of my panels,and only on 2D mode. If i deselct antialiasing the problem will dissapear. The rest of my set up is Wn98se,512 meg of memory,directx 8.2 and a Athlon 1.2. I cant say that i have changed any thing recentley,it has just seemed to start without any changes taken place. The effects i get is like wierd looking patchy effects all over the 2D panel.I have tryed turning off all effects,but none makes the difference. Any help would be appreciated. I'm experiencing difficulty in getting FS2002 to recognize expanded button commands from my joystick. I have reprogrammed the buttons using the utilities supplied with the joystick, but FS2002 does not recognize them. Any help appreciated.Thank you.Michael VerlinHistoric Jetliners Group

I had to re-install FS2002. I remember that there was something you can do to turn off the BRAKE sign at the bottom of the screen. It stays on even if they are released. Anyone remember?Turnip

Hey everyone, I just downloaded installed an old FS2000 scenery of San Diego Intl made by Kevin Trinkle from flightsim.com. I also added an exclude fix for the airport by another author. My problem now is that the runway and taxilines DISAPPEAR when I get a few hundred feet from them! When I'm "on" the runway, all I see is dirt in front of me. I tried playing with the exclude and flatten codes but to no avail. Could anyone suggest a solution?-Cal

Hey All, I am experiencing a problem with the sound in the Dash 7 (Milton Shupe & Co). Seems there is a tick or slight pop sound occuring in the background at regular intervals (approx 5-6 secs). At a loss as to why. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.Mike

I think personally we expect too much from developers. Microsoft rarely allows third party access to new FS products and as such the developers have to wait for the release before they can start to develop new scenery and aircraft. Couple this with the sometimes extraordinary demands and juvenile comments of some posters on the developers forums the pressure is on to release early.Then at best the shelf life of a new product is one year, very little time to recoup the development costs. Very often the distributors compound the problem. Developing FS2002 products has gone way beyond the halcyon days of previous releases where one man and his dog could develop a plane or sc…
