This is my first post, so please excuse any mistakes with protocol.I have downloaded 3 different scenery files made with Land Class Assistant.When I fly over this scenery, all I see are blank colored squares.I assume that I do not have one of the display settings set correctly.I am using FS2002 Pro Edition.I have a Nvidia GEForce DDR graphics card.If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate the help.ThanksG Meaux (Mo)

OK, well I know that computers are heavily used with ATC systems in the real world. I have been listening a lot lately via a radio scanner to real world ATC chatter. I am often amazed at how these controllers know when and how to vector an aircraft, to raise/lower their altitude, what freq. they need to contact next, etc. My question is.....when the controllers are looking at their radar screen, I know that some aircraft info is displayed but does that radar screen also tell the ATC which heading to vector that aircraft, which altitude they should be flying at, and/or which freq. they need to change to next? These guys, IMHO, deserve major recognition for their wonderful Canadian airports: CYHZ, CYYT and CYQM. :-eek I absolutely love the detail in these airports and they run very smoothly on my computer. ok im getting FS2002 tomorrow was looking at airplanes i want to download, and saw one of my favourite planes (Grumman Mallard) in the avsim library and said FS2002 Pro only, does anyone know where i can get a grumman mallard for standard??? or did i just read it wrong?

Hi folks,I was wondering if anyone who uses Flight Deck Companion might have a profile created for Oleksiy's Dash 8-300? If not, where might I find the necessary performance info in order to create the performance file? I don't think that this information is included in the documentation is it? I know that Oleksiy included a pdf checklist, but I can't recall seeing any performance data (ie: v-speeds, flap speeds, etc) Too bad the POH hasn't been released for PSS's Dash. I was flying around the keys in Florida and saw this line in the screen then found out it was a rope of some sort with a small blimp going about 15,000 feet up. Does anyone know what this thing is?Thanks

I have been to several sites looking for the boxed version of airports that Simflyers released earlier in the year and can't seem to find it, not even at the SimFlyers or Avsim shop. Does anyone have an idea where I can find it? I am looking to purchase it asap. Does anybody run the SimFlyers series on a 2.8G machine and higher? If so, what kind of framerates are you getting and please tell about the kind of hardware and settings you are using and the Simflyers airports perform at max settings.Thanks,Robbie

This is a new one for me. Suddenly I have no AI traffic. I don't recall making any changes to FS before this happened. FS loads normally including the 4-5 second delay while the window shows "Loading AI Traffic." When the sim finally starts though, no traffic anywhere. Not anywhere in the world! I can still pull up any of my AI a/c from the a/c menu and all of my flightplans are still there, as well as the traffic.bgl, etc., etc. Anyone ever heard of such a thing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Trying to fine tune Joystick with the FSUIPC add-on.In the adjustment section it seems to just allow adjustments for Range. I thought there might be some way to also adjust Sensitivity or do you go back to FS2002 for those adjustments after one has adjusted FSUIPC for range.I just inputed range values for full motion of the requested parameters (ie. aelerions, throttle, rudder, brakes and so on).I did notice the full range of these features work even when I turn sensitivites way down (in FS2002), which was not the case prior to FSUIPC.I just thought there were also sensitivity adjustments within FSUIPC also.Thanks.

I've been using ActiveSky 1.5 for the last few flights and have noticed something wierd. It seems that there is an issue with the altimeter settings. An example is the last flight I did. The pressure was about 30.25. When at cruise, ATC was cancelling every other flight because they were 300' below their assigned altitude. If I set my altimeter back to 29.92, I would also have been 300' below my cruise altitude. It seems as if there is some glitch when using this program and other aircraft not using the correct altimeter setting. Can anyone tell me how to deploy a toggle switch to use a third party747 overhead for my 747. I have downloaded a panel and overhead but,unfortunately the originator does not seem to have made a toggleswitch and one has to go to the menu, to get it to come up everytime.Is it easy to make a toggle on the main panel to bring up a overhead?I would appreciate chapter and verse if anyone is an expert on thisplease.YoursJohn

I know this may not be the best place to ask a question such as this, but I could think of no alternative where the help would be better. Microsoft and my DSL provider were both very much less than helpful in curing my problem, so I'll throw it out to the community to see if it can lend a helping hand. My problem is just as the subject says. When I have my DSL connection on I get stutters. The stutters take place every couple of seconds and really get annoying, especially when on approach or takeoff. When I turn my DSL connection off the problem goes away. The flight dynamics of MS FS2002 aircraft range from terrible to great.What makes one aircraft fun to fly and the other be deleted after 20 minutes? The flight dynamics. Can that difference be measured and defined? You bet they can. Dear friends Is there any way we could continue the same flight plan with ATC after it has cancelled the flight plan, without having to restart the flight over gain if we want ATC guidance? That is whether there is a way to ATC to vector us to the destination airport, even after it has cancelled the flight previously. ThanksShri

I have a large number of aicraft kept in a file separate from FS2002.The number installed in to FS2002 is about 200.Now when I install a new aircraft, it is seen to appear in the aircraft folder initially.The next time I fire up FS2002, the aircraft has been deleted.I know there is a limit to the number of sceneries to add to FS2002, as they do not appear on the scenery list. I currently have 208 separate sceneries. Greetings,I bought the ATI Radeon 9700 and I'm having a few problems getting it up and running, see picture. The lines also appear when running Grand Theft Auto III, but not on the regular display or anywhere else. I've read the posts regarding possible problems installing this card, so I anticipated this. I've also read about making sure the old drivers were removed before installing the new ones, which I did.I'm using the latest driver from the website (6200). Does anyone know what this is and what can be done to get rid of it? I know the 9700 takes a little bit to get going and hope someone can help me do this. I had to reload MSFS2K2, as my system crashed and the harddrive had to be reformatted. Anyway, I remember a year or so ago, when we all were tweaking this product, that there was a problem with a download of FsSound.dll. This file was contained in a panel download that gave us an error message while the sim was loading. It seems to me the problem was eventually solved, but I don't remember how.I am getting this error message now and would like to resolve it.
