Hi there!Can anyone out there tell me if you can "fix" a virtual cockpit position - i.e. move to a position in virtual cockpit mode and then keep that position so that when you change views and then go back to the vc you are still in the position you left it in?I hope you can understand what I mean !!!ThanksJonny

Hi allAnyone actually using RC V3 with FS2002 ??Just went to their site and it looks good, manyoptions like the ability to request higher or loweraltitude or the change of destination while en route or the support of multiple flight planners....I just want a honest opinion on that version using FS2002until we get a official revue of it.ThanksLouis

I found this while checking the new files at Flightsim.com. It's by Hecotr Molina, and is filed (probably incorrectly) under 'FS2000 Panels.' The bitmap gives a good perspective that allows you to see the second EICAS. All the gagues seem to have been custom-done, and they all look very nice (except for the annunciator on EICAS #1 which behaves a tad strangely), and there is even a minimally functional overhead. I highly recommend this to anyone who still flies the POSKY CRJ's regularly! :-)

Hi first i want to thank you guys for helping me solve my other problems wich i already have,but i have another one now...First when i create a flight and choose an a/c i cant change the airline that i would like ATC to call me and it calls me by the ID Number(N2001Z) how can i fix that, and anothe thing ATC is cancelling my IFR FP, im flying at my assing altittude, and then i recieve a few messages saying to expidite to my assign altittude and then after ATc cancels my fP...Pls help me thx

Hi, I've been using Active Sky and FS Sky SE since they came out. Great add-ons! I like V-sky, but I cannot get it to work while using active sky. Hello,I have a small graphic distortion problem I hope someone can help me with.First my system: Win XP Pro, Nvidia Geforce 3 ti200 with 640MB of Ram on a 2GHz processor (Pentium 4). The latest certified 40.72 drivers from Nvidia. I have tried other drivers as well. The problem: Some examples; With 2D panels in "cockpit" view and also in "spot view" looking at the night sky, I notice spots (colour distortions) and different coloured layers. If a use any picture viewer to separately look at eg. the same panel bitmap these spots are not visible. It is only within the game. Has this happened to anyone else? I've flown two IFR flights recently (Boston to LaGuardia and Rotterdam to Schiphol) and in both cases, Approach vectors me to for an ILS landing, and when they hand me off to the airport tower, the tower tells me to "enter downwind" of a different runway, as if I'm flying VFR. This happened at KLGA while I was on 3 mile final for 22 ILS, and ATC said to "make right downwind for ruwnay 4." At Schiphol, I was on ILS for 1L when tower said "make left downwind for runway 19R." What was really odd there was that I was 3rd in line! Each of the AI planes landed ahead of me landed on 1L and the tower scolded them with the "Transavia blah bla…

Includes general improvements to the New England region and to several metropolitan areas.Methinks some of the index mapping in the southwestern portion of the current coverage area is probably a bit too green, but will be working on the southwestern index mapping this week to achieve a more accurate brownish-red tone. Hi all! Yesterday was one of those rare and new days in a pilot's life when I got to fly a new airplane and get "checked out" in a PC-12 for a new job I may be taking. Man, what a machine!! I am sure some of you have flown them in FS2000 or FLYII, and let me tell you, get the one FS2KPC12V6.ZIP for FS2000 right here. It is great, and flies very much like the real one!! I can tell you that. The airplane flies like a brick with ailerons, very very heavy, same a a 777 level D sim I once flew. Pitch is more sensitive, but still heavier than a small GA plane. I know, the default FS Real Weather isn't up to par with the other programs available - but I still use it.Here's my recent problem. I connect & d/l the weather file as normal. The new d/l'd conditions show properly on the FS weather screen. However, when I return to my flight - the weather settings dissappear - returning to a "global default" setting of "clear", "unlimited vis.", etc. I seem not able to "hold" the new file in FS - when I return to a flight.Have not had this occur before - seems to have something to do with "Global" vs. "Local" - and - something is not "saving & loading" the new weather files properly ??Haven't changed any settings that I'm aware …

I'm sure that this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it anywhere in this forum.I have FS2000 pro and FS2002 pro, I would like to import the Concorde into FS2002. How is this done? I am on the verge of switching from the Windows world to the Mac OS world. There are several reason why but I won't go into that here. I am looking for info from those of you who use flight sim products on the Mac. Does it work well? What are the drawbacks? Can you use any of the great add-ons available? How about hardware peripherals for flight sims? Also, are there any fps issues as in the Windows world? What type of Mac OS are you using for flight simming?...etc., etc.Thanks,

Why Avsim.com and FlightSim.com have dragged their feet before giving us a review of the most important FS2002 scenery release since the SimFlyers releases, I will never know. But, thanks to comments and screen shots posted by many on these forums, I am probably going to go with the SimFlyers versions and thus I don't have to wait for an official review. I can only assume that Wilco is peddling their new FS2002 V1 scenery for the masses and not for the hard core flight simmers. Hi,I cannot find out what is causing this. Maybe I have come to the point where I just run too many addons. I suspect that it is FSSkyWorld that brought me over the edge. Every 4-5 minutes the sim comes to a complete halt. After that every thing returns to normal with decent framerates.I am running a 3 monitor setup. Two monitors are running from a GF4Ti4600 the other one from a TNT2. Addons running in the backgound are:FSMeteoFSSkyWorldSE iwth the fast cloud setGarmin430 from FSAvionicsRealityXP GPSNatural Point (TrackIR)and AOL 7.0.Any suggestions?Alex

Has anyone else had problems downloading these large files with DAP? I downloaded the first of the 8 files with no problems but none of the other 7 will download with DAP. They will download OK with the built-in Windows downloader but unfortunately I only have a dial-up connection and these large files will take over two hours each to download, so will cut-off before completion.
