Like to find out which drivers to get for my new card. They installed the ones that came with the cd.How dow I find out which drivers are being used?Also how do I find out which Direct X version I am running and which should I upgrade toto FS2002 will work?thanks for any comments and suggestions

What a great aircraft!!!!!!!!The model is fantastic....the aircraft is VERY stable and a joy to fly. The textures are very good as well and the VC is GREAT...VERY CLEAR!!! And the 2D panel is quite good...I'm gonna add in my Garmin 530 as soon as I figure out how. :-lolThe download and purchase was simple and there weren't any hiccups in the process.The ONLY thing the aircraft doesn't have is moving door handles! :-lol :-lol And as a matter of fact...who cares! LOLI LOVE this new aircraft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks Carenado for the excellent new addition to my fleet! :9

While other bits of a flight can be programmed into the FMC before push back, I would think the SID/STAR bits can only be done when the ground control has given instruction as to which runway to take off. On the other hand, without a STAR, VNAV is not able to plan a path of decend. So you need to pun in a tentative STAR and then change it when given the actual. Is this sequence of programming correct?Another question on SID/STAR: Do planes follow the programmed track (SID) or the ATC will actually dictate the path. If that's the case, why bother to program SID?Enlightenment please.Michael TanDownunda

I have just dl'd the 773er, and seem to be having some problems.I load the plane, and for about 30-60 seconds I get 30FPS, then suddenly it will drop to around 10! This happens in all siuations, I will get 30 for about a minute, hen it will suddenly drop to 10FPS. I reload, get 30FPS for a minue, then it drops again!I have also noiced that when i pause it, the FPS jumps to 30 again.some info: Windows xp sp1, directX 9.0, omegas 3.4Can anyone help?thanx.Regard, Bob.

I was wondering if here are any new features/effects which have been added to the program to allow more complex aircraft/effects.I don't necesarily mean features that are on the stock aircraft, but ones that could implemented on 3rd party aircraft.For example, after the release of FS2002, people could add dynamic flexing wings planes, which they couldn't do in FS2000. They weren't on stock aircraft, but the program allowed this feature.Does anyone know of anything like this in Fs2004.Thanks.Regards,Bob.

I d/l'd the 777-300ER Paint Kit from MelJets website and can't get the wings to fold. I have the Shift-F set as the assignment for this particular move, but no go.Also, while "walking" thru the cabins, which are extremely nice, I was wondering what key strokes(?)to make all these different things in the cabin do their thing, such as reclining seats, tray tables up and down, the ptv's doing whatever they are supposed to do. I didn't see anything in the documents pertaining to this matter.I'm fairly new to Active Camera, but I didn't see any key strokes there to make these things work.I'd appreciate anyone's help on this.Thanks,

I don't see anywhere in the defualt key assignments for cargo door? I am trying to get cruise mode to work with his 777 version 2. I am trying to set the key assignment for it. Should I be looking for cargo doors cause I don't see it?

Hello gents,i'm having heavy troubles with my simulator. Some aircrafts don't show all their textures in full screen mode, but in window mode almost everything works fine...In some 2 or 3 aircrafts (the same not showing all the textures), even not having anti-aliasing activated, they produce a similar effect when loaded...making things blur.Does anyone know why is the reasonMy pc's specifications are:P4 2.4256MB DDRGeforce 256 ProUsing DX8.1 Win 2000Nvidia drivers version 32.82PS: I've installed DX9.0 and also the most recent nvidia drivers, but the problem continued!ThxMiguel

Can someone help - I've searched the FS2002 Help files - and Google - in vain: Suddenly, seemingly of their own accord, my default view settings upon starting a flight have changed - this morning flights opened, as usual, with cockpit view and with parking brakes on. Now all flights open:1. in virtual cockpit view - I'd like straight cockpit view back2. with a small resizable aerial view window open in the top-left hand corner, which I now have to close each time with the square bracket key3. - VERY frustratingly - with the parking brakes off and the throttle up so that planes move forward before I can shut off the throttle or apply the brakes. I'm looking at this C-47 in FS and want to recreate a China-Burma-India (CBI) theater flight over "The Hump" (you weren't thinking of something else were you? *grin*). Can anyone come up with a reasonably accurate origin and destination for said flight? (a google finds lot's of talk of The Hump, but little in the way of the actual infamous route waypoints, etc).

Mark, your recent repaints of the R4D/DC-3 are fantastic. Was looking thru an old issue of "Airways" magazine, where there was an article on Buffalo Airways of Canada. The only regularly scheduled DC-3 pass. flight in North America is operated by this airline, along with 9 other DC-3s. Any chance you could perform your wizardry once more on this great "old lady" of flight sims?

I have obviously loaded a plane from the add on world that has caused my GPS not to work any more. I D/L all per instruction and never back up.My question is can I go to one of the 3 disk in FS2k2 and destore or must I uninstall and reinstall.When and if I must uninstall how do you also get rid of all the scenery, and planes that have files all over the place.I recenty got a new pc for fs2004, Is there a way to remove any and all files, codigs ect that have any relation to FS proir to installing fs2004.THank you.

Well, after the previous topic got closed due to some bad words from a writer, i think for some of us it is still important to keep each other informed and to interchange experiences and thoughts about what's going on at SSW, as we are sorrowfully not able to post in their forums.

I am very detailed oriented but what's with these planes and not having a simple detail like rolling wheels? I mean these are great aircraft, and the detailing and time that went into them is awesome, i thank all of you who have put your time and efforsts into it, i really do, but how hard is it to add this simple detail?. I know this seems like a trivial complaint, but i like zooming in on aircraft while it taxi's down the tarmac and see the wheels moving along with other details.Just seems more life-like to me to see it moving instead of just scooting along a terrain. Gives you a feeling of "motion", anyone else agree? Is it difficult to do?

I do not see anyone discussing the first thing I thought when I read that announcement:I will get FSUIPC and not pay a penny.Wha?! I know that is what you are saying. Read the announcement again again, especially the part where it says 'what you get if you don't pay.' It lists (IMHO) the single biggest time consuming offering that FSUIPC offers, the memory offsets for panels. Holy smokes batman! Sure, I don't get 'control spike elimination', or those nifty weather settings. Hello to all;Question, Why is that in some panels when you turn the heading off from the Auto Pilot and let the altitude hold on you can't turn using the joke. On other panels if I turn only the heading off the auto pilot will kept the altitude assigned in the Auto Panel's altitude area but will let me turn using the joke. Can someone tell me where to correct this situation or if this problem can't be fix.Thank you.

I've been around AFCAD and modifications for a while, however, I have never been able to get overlays to work right. Only the original airport has the traffic. The other side, is blank. In AITM, I've moved the traffic from KSFO, to 2SFO, and still nothing. I gave up on KSFO, and just went with the regular AFCAD. 2SFO was in the aircraft.txt file. Do I have to do it by hand? If someone could previde a step by step way to do it, I would apprieciete it. I'm sick of being stuck in Delta rush hour in Atlanta! If I ever learn how, KATL, and back with KSFO are going to be the first airports to modify. If anyone also has an AIM adress, or MSN adress, and provide a step …
