Hi, fs2002 won't run for more than a few minutes before the comp. shuts down and restarts and I have'nt a clue whats going on. It started about 3 weeks after a fresh install of WinXP pro. I've just noticed that when I go into the texture folders in scenery and aircraft, the majority say "failed to draw " Does this give anyone else a clue?. When updating the FSNAV database, I have discovered the following:KJFK, EDDF, CYYZ, and KLAX Simflyers will not update. When any of these airports are checked for updates, "FSNavDBC.exe locks up when any of these airports appear.KPHL, KIAD, KMCO, KATL, KDFW, EGCC, KEWR and KLAS Simflyers update fine with no problem.Is this because the problem airports are not in the database, or does anybody have any ideas applicable to this problem?Thanks:RTH

Hi - I wanted to know what the difference between Gmax planes and all the others...Is Gmax better? Also, does anyone who know Microsoft stitistics (spelling mistake :(?) know if Microsoft is known to stick to their release dates and what are the chances of the game being released tomorrow? hi, I'm interested in this plane cause Analogue panel is my thing, I would like to hear your opiniun on the accuracy of system simulation and overall system dependance. Is it possible to have some emergencies? I'm currently waiting and downloading SSW A310 without success (pre-ordered it 3 months ago). I just can't imagine what make them pulling out the non-resumable download joke . Flight1 still has the best software distribution system IMO.

Since my reformat and reinstall, whenever I task switch into FS, I wait about 2 minutes for it to snap into FS, in the mean time on the screen I see a picture of how my panel was when I task switched out of FS, with some black on the top. After two minutes, it'll load properly.Any ideas? It's getting very annoying.

NYARTCC.org has great flight plans for some airports around the NY-NJ-PA area. Does anyone know of sites that are more far reaching than just this little part of the US. I wonder if there are anymore sites that cover other airports in the US.ThanksAndrew

I haven`t used Flight Sim for a while and when I tried to have a flight yesterday, after about 5 minutes into the flight, all my gauges blacked out and the autopilot switched off.I`m sure I read something about this before, but I can`t remember what the answer was.I`d appreciate any help.Cheerscrashproof

Hi all,I am using SSW FMC were you can create your own waypoints (such as N 52.34.24 W13.23.12) which is particuarly helpfull with NAT plots, however I have no idea how to put these into an FS flightplan. I need to do this so when I import it into radar contact, they do not keep telling me I am off course when I try and fly to them! How do I put these sorts of waypoints into FS or RC?Will I have to buy a 3rd party flight planing software? If so, which one?Thanks

This REALLY bothers me!Why does the freeware version have dynamic shine and cockpit glass reflections (externally)......but the payware version doesn't????That makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.The SSW A310 is Harald Nehrings OLD A310 Model......it isn't even his Version 3...in fact, it's Version 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is ridiculous! Why would you release an OLD Model version with a payware product?????I'm sorry for going off like this but this really irks me. Selling Version 1 with extra stuff and giving away Version 3.....really nice.So I guess it was true....we did pay $37 for a panel.

For those of you in the IAD area (Washington Dulles), the Just planes shop is closing its doors on 7/26/03. According to the salesperson, nobody knows it's there and the airport authority raised rent. So much for being able to touch and feel what you are buying.PZL

I had a large number of freeware downloads backed up on CD. One of those discs will not permit me to restore to the HD citing some type of 'Cyclic Redundancy Error'...whatever that means. The good news is that I had a catalogue of what was on the CD that I kept somewhere other than on the CD. Just boughtan Nvdia TI4800 card. Downloaded the new video driver.I an running Sindows XP PRO. When looking at system devices, went o vidio, sounds and found the follwoing:nVidia VDM A?V crossbarnVidia VDM TV audio crossbarnVidia VDM tunernVidia VDM Vieo capture.Do I have to go in each of thes devices and unistall the drivers?Do I just run the executable file I download from nVidia?Which one of these is the actial vieo driver?Thanks for any help

hi,This is what I do (I like flying airliners so cruise is really boring) I takeoff, hand fly to 15000 then Autopilot the rest of the way up until final approach where (I like hand flying final approach) I take over and hand fly all the way to touchdown. Cruise is really boring, I walk around in the pmdg 737 cabin and look at the wings and stuff. Then if its a long flight I'll go watch tv until I get close to my descent point. My question is what do you guys do during your flights to keep yourselves entertained and not die of boredom?AndrewPS. I'm considering the Carenado C210, but I've got some questions for those of you who already own it.First, what kind of docs come with it? Mainly, does it come with any performance charts?Since the engine guages are on the right side of the cockpit, does the 2D panel have popup engine guages?All the screen shots of the 2D panel I've seen show the yoke, can you remove it?

Hi,I have just purchased some new Japanese scenery available at www.aerosim.co.jp called Approcah & Landing In Japan. When I first looked at the screen shots I thought that it was the same as some of the freeware scenery already available. It is actually different and not only looks more realistic due to the addition of surrounding textures etc. but also seems to give better frame rates.The problem is I that I would like to have AFCAD files to match the scenery. I have tried to make some myself but without success. Can any user of this scenery help out. Also if you do not have the scenery I would suggest that you check it out.RegardsAussie
