I read a blurb somewhere that the screens blink when loading or when a some new panel parts are called up. Couldnt remember what forum so decided to post. Does anyone know anything about this? I just got the board and wondered if this had been solved? I do remember the poster said that trying different drivers did not solve it. Is this just a remote incident?RegardsBobG

Thanks for some of the pointers to the best FS2002 freeware as mentioned in my previous post. The changes brought by AutoGenius and OceanFX, although subtle, have made this sim more immersive than ever! I particularly love the Stearman bi-plane :()So here is a little screenshot to show what FS2002 has left.

Hi Folks,One of my most favorite scenery packages is Suisse 2002 which does a wonderful job of showing Switzerland at it's beautiful best....I've used this scenery package for a long time and never get tired of it's detail at airports and it's interesting terrain.Recently I had to uninstall Fs2002 and then reinstall it. Now I'm having problem with Suisse 2002 and it's driving me nuts.When I try to go to most of the Suisse 2002 airports I get an error message "Scenery library object not found. etc...". In most cases I get multiple errors of that type for the same airport. I'm not a scenery guru at all - What is a "scenery library object"? Does it refer to textures, .b…

I have an IBM ThinkPad with both a pointer stick and a touchpad. I would like to be able to use the touchpad as a joystick for flight controls in FS 2002.I just can't figure out a way to do it! Can anyone help?

After reading Peter Jame's article in a recent issue of Computer Pilot magazine, regarding handling twin engine planes, I got this great idea.I use the CH Products USB Yoke, Pro Throttle and Pedals. I changed the axes assignments within FS2004 as follows: The Pro Throttle is assigned to all engines. The three levers on the Yoke's assignments are as follows: The left lever is assigned to the prop control. The middle lever is assigned to the number 1 engine. The right lever is assigned to the number 2 engine.I can adjust the mixture by using the mouse.This makes for a very realistic experience when taxiing a twin engine, such as the 310.

Hi,I'm looking for a website that I browsed through a couple of weeks ago, but can't remember how I came across it. It contained a 'Top 25' (or similar number) list of freeware aircraft for FS2002. I can't believe I didn't place it in my favourites!Does this sound familier to anyone?Paul

Hi,I downloaded a 737 panel from avsim today, I moved all the files into the FS2002 directories, and when I try to start up FS2002, it says Roger Wilco cannot be found, rwcontrol.dll.....I had to update the RWControl.dll as said by the readme file for the panel. Now, I cannot start Flight Sim. Any suggestions?Thank you in advance,Mike

This is a shoot in the dark. I have Perfect Flight Northwest Advs Vol 3. Just want to know if anybody have any of these adv. I do like them but I have a big problem. I should say that went I got the program, it work great. Now it is not. Everthing works until I go into the adv compiler, it is telling me runtime error 53 file not find. If anyboy knows what is going on please let ne know. I did email them and they said everything should be working. I email them back and said I would like to have the program so I can redown.Please helpJerBear

I was finally able to download and install the A310 and after trying to fly it I think I will wait till all the bugs are worked out ie:no way I can see to import a flight plan from FSbuild or FSNav or even FS2002,can't get lbs to show,eveything is set up for eastern hemisphere.I think that a tutorial should have been done for this is a very hard aircraft as in systems to learn.The aircraft is great but I will wait to fly it online till the bugs are worked out.I would write this on their forum but still can't get on there says I am not allowed to post. One of my beta-testers, Roy Barnes, gave me a tip for quickly layering the scenery within the Scenery Library of FS2002. I have not seen this posted before so thought I should share it with everyone.When you add new scenery into the scenery library it has to be moved down to its correct layer. In the case of mesh scenery, which is near the bottom of the layers, it was a real pain

They release the Hawker 400XP, an almost identical plane to their model of the Beechjet 400A and want $17.95 for it! So they have changed their mind for existing owners and are going to supply it for $4.95.However my point is that this would not have happened without severe complaint being made on their forum about this rip-off, and to top it off they've removed all complaints from their forum.Just can't handle criticism, eh?Alan

Supposedly, there is a problem after a while with Real Weather in certain areas where you lose textures for runways, trees, & sky. KCIC was an area that was mentioned.Can someone with the gold release shed light on this or see if this is true?

Hi, I think all of melvins work is fantastic. He is to be applauded.I do have question in regards to getting the chair to fold down and tray tables? Also when passenger doors are open, should stairs also come down? I am using active camera and walked the whole airplane so I am wondering which keys to punch to get the animation of seats that melvin is writing about? Thank you, S.

Does anyone have that really expensive 747 simulator, it costs somewhere around $250 and is supposed to simulate absoulutley everything. If you do have it, how do you like it? Worth buying? Thanks.
