Hiya,Just a quick question. The SSW A310's FMC says that my max FL is 380, so I enter FL 330, yet I get a message saying 'CRZ FL ABOVE MAX FL' and this message cannot be cleared, so I can't use the FMC because this message permanently ocupies the scratchpad. Is anyone else having this problem?

First, I would like to add to the list of raves of this plane. I loved the Dakota, but hated the VC so much, that I went back to the DF Archer. The VC on the 210 is one of the best that I've seen for clarity, and if they make it clickable with their FS 2004 update, that would be superb.I also love the feeling of weight with this baby. You really have to trim hard, and if you idle the throttle on final's, she plummets like a stone. Excellent.Not too bothered about the VC view to the side - it's a bit like that on Cessna's. I don't like the external engine sound - sounds like a hair dryer. Also she really hurts the frame rates, and is almost unusable on my 400Mhz lap…

Could anyone please offer an explanation as to why immediately on touchdown my frame rates drop from a fairly constant 18-20 fps to around 7-8fps. Also during decelaration down the runway frame rates vary wildly between around 2.5 to 12 making the aircraft appear to 'kangaroo' down the runway and almost impossible to control. I tend to mostly use the Dreamfleet 737 with default scenery.System specs. Athlon 1900XP+ 512mb pc2100 ram, 128mb Radeon 8500Thanks,Pete

My joystick precision 2 was working great then all at once it has started pulling to the righttried adjusting the null zone still does it,throttle works,rudder ok and elevators justaileron control.asd2002

Can someone explain where all the Newzealand info (maps, tutorials) has gone at vatpac.org ? There is absolutely nothing on NZL there, though it should cover more than Australia... Any idea where to get approach and landing charts for New Zealand (espec. Queenstown) ?? Thanks, J

Hi All!I am moving FS2002 to another computer to make way for 2004 in my new machine. I forgot to check something I did a long time ago in the config file to improve the joystick or in my case the yokes response. It was a line added to the config file. Anyone remember this? If so please give me the magic line..it DID make a big difference for me from the default settingsThanks

I have lost the panel in the FSD-C172.I have activated: Views--Instrument Panel---Global ON--Main Panel--and only see the individual instruments.The Tower View ,Spot Plane ,Top down are OK.,Reinstalling has not solved the problem.XP's System Restore seems a drastic solution.Rodger.

Hey guys,Does FS2004 still use the BGL files?I've read some discussion during the development of this new version of Flight Simulator concerning that the BGL schema will not be used anymore.Anyone could please "shed some light" on this?Thanks.

Your in the middle of a flight and FS2002 crashes! Happened to me tonight, not once but twice! The flight was from KRDU to KISP, over northern Delaware crusin at 35,000 feet the task bar pops up on the screen and FS2002 crashes! :-mad It's a rather short flight from KRDU to KISP so I figured I start again. Everything is going well the second time until I get over the Atlantic City area at about 28,000 feet this time and the task bar pops up and FS2002 crashes AGAIN! :-madI can not wait until I get FS2004, hopefully this will not happen in the new version.(The plane I was flying was the Premier 1)

Hello to all;For me this is a very strange item in the Throttle Quadrant. The Take Off Go Around switch. I don't now when, how, or when not to use this very strange item. Please can any body tell me how to use, why it has to be used and how to, once in use, to de-activate it and why. Maybe I'm asking for a lot of info. but I'm sure this will also help many of the Sim Users that for one reason or another don't use this part of the aircraft. It has two parts one, is the take off part, and two, is the go around part. Why use it on the take off, why not jut to push forward the Thrust Levers and up you go. In the VC view of the Carenado C210 when using Active Camera 1.1, if I pan down with the hat on my CH Yoke, the view goes down and to the right. Then when I pan up with the hat, it goes up and to the right.Anyone else seen this? It doesn't happen on other planes.Also, aren't the Alt. and Battery switches backwards???Thanks!Mike Baker

I have received two reports of an incompatibility between our DC-8 panels and FS2004. Obviously this issue of of real concern to us at HJG.On the basis of information thus far received, there is a question in my mind regarding the validity of these reports. It may be simply due to improper installation. I am asking for the assistance of an authorized FS2004 Beta Tester to help us run this issue down.Any help is appreciated. I have a problem with some cargo aircrafts being flown by the computer. I made som cargo routes to ENGM (Oslo, Norway) to fill up the cargo ramps, so the passanger aircraftswould'nt park at the cargo ramps but at the gates!!But now the cargo aircrafts park at the GATES,,sendingeven more passanger aircrafts to the cargo ramps!! :(I thought cargo aircrafts automatically would be sendtto cargo ramps!! Anyone able to help?? I'm using the default B747 cargo aircraftthanx for helping!!

On the default 737 the airspeed top right of the compass rose is always the same as the GS in the GPS.However, when approaching the ILS, it is necessary to flick the lever from GPS to NAV, and when this is done the airspeed changes to something completely different, and I need to have the GPS open to see what my actual airspeed is.Two questions:1) Why does this happen, and2) What does the new airspeed represent?The difference between the GPS speed and the NAV speed is significant, and I can't see that the 'new' airspeed under NAV relates to anything....I've been wondering this for ages, so looking forward to some enlightenment.ThanksAllblack

I am having a bit of trouble with Lonnies' fabulous freeware B757. My main problem is just understanding the sequence of events forthe startup and actually finding all the various systems on the panel.I downloaded all the upgrades ( I think ) -- but can't really find any startup guide in the documentation . I have managed to get the engines stsrted and gotten the aircraft into the air -- but I dont have any power to the radio panel and can't get the autopilot to turn on ( possibly it too is lacking power) -- but can't seem to see what I am doing wrong. Just wanted to make a positive comment about the new Carenado 210. While I have mentioned in another post the issue I have with the height of the panel and eyepoints, one thing these guys do beautifully is the inclusion of tinted windows and reflections seen from inside the VC. It really enhances the feeling of being inside the cockpit, and the "glassless" windows of other aircraft really pale in comparison. Something I think other developers should try in their designs. Anyone else like this effect?Best,Joel

Ok, I have tried a few and none that I have seen and tried have been to my liking. I have tried NAV 3 , and Super Flight planner, I have looked FS Build over. Neither one of these were as easy to set up and use as FS Navigator. Is there something else out there (Pay or Free) that I have missed? I like using FS Nav for making my flight plans but a lot of the times I want to make a plan with out having to call up FS.Is there anything else I could try outThanks
