Hi FS-Meteo 6.x user,I saw on screenshoots of the 6.x version that you can set a number for the dynamic FS2004 weather.My questions is, if youre online and flying with dynamic weather set to extreme, is there any change of the local clouds around the plane? I mean if the internet update is coming is there a smooth transition between the previous weather and the new one or is the change hard?Also I like to know if there is a stutter if the update occure?Next question is if I download weather and go offline will the weather be set for the hole world or is the update done along the flightpath?Hope that someone could answer my questions, or show me a review of the new version…

This is just a simple question for everyone with FSCOF. I want to know if you are seeing any kind of stutter at all. At this point, my system isnt really stuttering, its more of a momentary frame rate drop with noticeable pause during flight. My fps will go from 25 (locked) down to 18 or so and sometimes even as low as 12-14 for no apparent reason with medium settings. It happens every 5-8 seconds and seems more pronounced If I am manuevering. It happens in spot view and cockpit views. It only lasts a moment, maybe a second, but if your in the flare or on an approach its a bit annoying. also it is not a regular occurence seems to happen randomly here. I am trying to nail …

Hey guys, i recently had my system updated adding more RAM to 256MB, windows XP pro installed, and a new Graphics card: Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 32MB.ever since i reinstalled FS2002 and tryed to run it the system runs slow and extreemly stuttery, even in the start up menue of FS. when i disable hardware acceleration in the menue the system runs fine with crummy pixelated graphics.any one have any ideas.help would be much appreciated,regards,mark

When using the Ireland Scenery, www.ifsd.ie , (fantastic scenery), I experience lock ups in my system when using add-on aircraft e.g. Lago Tornado. Never had problems in FS2002. The sim runs perfectly for about 15minutes then locks-up. I have tried in other dense scenery areas KlAX, KSEA and apart from low frame rates have had no lock-ups.Pentium 2.2nVidia 128mb512 mb RAMAnyone similar experience?Gerry

I find this an interesting exercise. Here's an animated GIF (obviously scaled and of low quality) showing the exact same flight situation in FS2002 and FS2004. Notice the much improved sky color, the better looking airport environment, and--of course--the clouds.One thing that hasn't changed is the inside of the Cessna ;)The most surpising (to me) thing is that the fps is comparable in this situation (sitting on the runway at KSEA) between both sims, even with the 3d clouds (other sliders the same). I just installed FS9 over the weekend and have added some MelJet 747s, which have been flying since last fall in FS2k. For some reason, after I get the plane airborne, whether autopilot is activated or not the 747 will turn hard right then nose dive and begin spiraling out of control. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? I have done little to no tweaking of FS9 to this point.

Is it true? Did Microsoft leave out bridges in various and random parts of the world? I'm from the Tampa Bay area and I can't believe that they left out the Skyway bridge. Guys, I think I fixed my stutters. Check out these two links if you are having performance problems.! The clouds really helped I believe. Hi All,1. I can't seem to shift the views up or down when in any side views in the 2D cockpit. If I attempt to shift the view up/down in say the left view, nothing happens. But back at the forward view, the view has shifted. I can only shift the view while in the forward view. Is this a bug? Any idea's how to correct this? I tried remapping every view command to correct this but... nogo.2. This is more of a question than a problem. Is there a way to have the ATC text box pop up "ONLY" when it's addressing me? Anyone else have this problem? Seems FS9 does not like any other problem running in the back. When I go from full screen to half screen it shrinks OK. When I want to go back to full screen, it locks up.Not a hidden program fault. It locks up using SB, SB relay, Enviro. Hi all, I'm trying to download Control Manager Ver. 2.1 from CH Products web site but the ftp seems to be down. Is anyone else having this problem? Can I get the software anywhere else?I had Version 2 installed, but uninstalled it as told to by Ch Products to install the new complete version instead of the upgrade. Then could not dowload the software. I re-installed Version 2 but now it does not come up in FS2004 anymore. I only get the MS calibration utility. Can anyone help with getting FS2004 to recognise and use Control Manager 2.Thanks in advance.Sydneyborn :-wave

First, I want to thank everyone who contributed information on how to get FS 2004 to work with a descent FPS. Even though FS 2004 cost me almost $200(FS2004 - $54.95 + a new graphics card - $130.00), it was worth it.My question is the I transferred the "Freeware Flight Group's" BBJ and learjet into 2004. My result was no rotating fans within the engine cowling. Is there a way to fix this or is this something that I just have to live with in life?Damon Carr
