Hello, I've come accross an interesting issue with the precipitation in FS2004. When I enable rain or snow, I can(in cockpit view) see the rain or snow striking the wind sheild, but in spot view, the rain and snow are in some kind of suspended animation and just sit there in mid air. Has anyone else noticed this? Cheers!

My motherboard took a major left turn the other day so now im out 2004 till i get it fixed..............;(;(;(;(;(;(Just when it was runnin sweet................;(Anybody have any ideas on Good motherboards to run? Currently have the following:AMD 1.4c, 512MB DDR, Original GeForce 3 (64MB)Is it worth the effort to pick up COF & PMDG's 737 or am I more realistically looking at dropping some money into a P4 3.2/GF 5900FX combo to not be unhappy?I'm not blaming the app or anything, just asking for info from folks who have similar configurations so I know if it's time for a new machine. I generally do a full machine upgrade every 3 or 4 years, I guess the question comes down to is this the time to do so?

Daer SimmerI have Untoggled the " Pause on Task " so the Sim must Run when I am doing some other things during the simulation but if I enter the Map view the Sim immediately Pause the flight , how can I get rid of this, can anyone help me pls ...All my besthasanp.s I use Map view in order to collect some VOR / NDB or ILS informations..

Hi All,I'm running FS2000 and Greatest Airlines 737. I have never used the GPS system before, I have allways used the FMC.I have tried to get the GPS to work with no luck. I looked at the doc's but no much help.Can anyone please give me some hint's on how to start using the GPS system in FS2000 and 737.Thanks Scott

When you pry it out of my cold dead fingers. A couple of days ago I was ready to uninstall FS2004 and go back to 2002 but I decided to do some more tweaks and give it another day or two. I'm glad I did. I bought it the day it was released and since I'm retired I get to play a lot so I have spent many hours trying to get it to run right. I had several graphic problems right out of the box and I was able to fix most of them by changing settings. The problem was I couldn't get it to run smooth and look good. I've been struggling to get used to my rudder pedals, and have been buzzing around in the 172.I'm a little bit frustrated with the behavior of the plane in turns. If I bank to the left, the ball in the slip/skid indicator moves slightly to the left for just a moment, but then sticks right in the middle. No matter how much I toss the plane around, the center of the slip/skid acts like a magnet for that black ball. Basically, there doesn't seem to be a purpose in using the rudder pedals at all once I am in the air.To answer the obvious question, yes I have made sure that auto-coordination is unchecked in the realism settings.Just for the heck of it, I tried the Dreamfleet c…

Hey,I just got FS9 and when I tried to play it on a different resolution than 800x640x32 the Create Flight page along with everything else doesnot show up except for the plane picture. Also when I do find the FLY NOW button everything is black except for the status bar which flickers as it loads the flight. When I'm, in the plane it seems to work ok tho until i bring the menu backj up.I have tries many driver versions but so far nothing! I have a GeForce4 TI4200 128MB card.Please help me get this thing workin!Thank you,Billy

I read the CH tips posted, thanks they got me all but setup.I have a quick question...I notice with the Pro Pedals in the config screen my Z axis (rudder) values constantly change when idle, from appx 121 -130.Is that much normal? I'm getting a constant pull to the left when flying or on the taxi way, and wondered if that could be the issue. When I remove the pedals, all is fine.

After flying a real airplane for my first time today, I have caught the General Aviation bug.What GA downloads do you reccomend? Freeware please, I don't have much money, and no credit card anyway.

I would like a new sound file for this chopper. When you click start it is running full throttle. When you click shutdown the sound just stops. Seems like someone could come up with a fix for this. Don

My current joystick -thrustmaster top gun force feedback- has the same problem as my former one although I did the calibration: The rudder to gain or lose height -the y-axle- doesn't work smoothly anymore, so the plane isquite bumpy and a proper landing is almost impossible. I really love flying the DC-3 in 2004. She's a real fine old bird, and handles like a dream.I have a question, though. I can't get the auto pilot to work. Totally new problem; to me anyway.I have a Registered copy of the latest version of FUSIPC. I unzipped it into the FS9/Modules folder - then checked to ensure the .DLL file was there. Now the problem. When I restarted FS2004 there was'nt a Modules Title on the Menu Bar? So now various items don't work properly e.g. Throttles, I can only get 50% N1. Anyone else had this problem? If so, please help.Ken
