I know it is in a different place than it was in FS2002 accessible only from the "Settings" menu. The Learning Center says to click on Options/Settings and then "Scenery Library". However, when I click on Options/Settings, I don't get a choice called Scenery Library. I'm sure its very simple but...Stan V.

Hi Guys (& Gals)I have fortunately not had anything like the problems that a lot of posters here seem to be experiencing. I did have a few in the first 30 mins but after I changed drivers a couple of times I seemed at least to be able to get a flight under my belt. I have fs9 installed on it's own partition and I thought that I would take a look it this drive to see if it was fragmentated........boy oh boy.... was it fragmentated!Did a defrag and since then the sim has worked like a dream and I have the fps locked at 25 with most sliders cranked well up to the right. Clouds are the biggest frame eaters but Chris Will's recent offering has improved this aspect.I use Ex…

I have downloaded the ones I did not have yet (Waco, Ryan, Swift) from flightsim.com (and, surprise, did not receive "all nodes busy" once ;)). All I can say, if you don't have these planes already, GO AND GET THEM!!! Hopefully they will be available at AVSIM's file library soon ...I'm happy that I bought Bill's Classic Cub and Tiger Moth, as I have spent a lot of time in both of them (especially the Clipped Wing Cub). Hello,I tried many settings, including MIPMAP levels from 3 to 8 but the autogen trees flickers so much. More than that I found that autogen is slowing down my system, I can leave the SCENERY COMPLEXITY slider to EXTREMELY DENSE, but I can see a huge difference if I set AutoGen to NONE.I'd like to hear ATI users experiences on autogen, because my system is running a lot better without it.Thanks,UlissesAsus A7V333, AthlonXP2400+, 1gb DDR333 Crucial, Radeon 9800pro 128mb.

Hey guys!I know Steve Small came up with a good airfile for the Beachcraft Baron in FS2002. The Scenaries are not coming out properly... I get flashing white sheets of empty sections in some of the scenery...and when I move (the aircraft) .. its filled in properly..but does the same elsewhere... some times it just flashes like a sheet of water .... like its taking time to fill in these sections of the graphics.I am running on Windows 2000 Pro, Its 2 Giga Dell with 512 Ram and 80 Gig HD...I tried setting low graphics setting.. and various Resolutions..but it does the same thing with all the settings.:(Anyone know..what else I can adjust?

This may be in the wrong forum, but is there a link or is there a list that is being compiled for all the areas that could use a flatten command. These commands are used to correct some of the Mesh anomolies that create false "mesa's" or HUGE CANYONS. While they are fun to fly through, eventually you want to rid your self of them. Is there an ongoing list of where these are, and does the flatten command work the sameway as in previous versions?

All the trees look like they are painted on black cardboard looking squares, also all lights like strobe, wing tip etc.Once in the sim, incredibly long load times to do anything! want the menu 30-45 seconds, then click on weather another 30-45 seconds then click OK and wait another45 - 55 seconds.....Drives me nuts!My computer is 850 MHZ and have GEForce II MX My Ram is only 128 could that be the problem? Any suggestions will be appreciated & tried.... I've left the 2004 almost totally default. Thanks Eddie

I was able to instal the American Airlines FP and Aircraft into FS2004. But unfortunately all the do all day is go around. I did remove any @ in the flightplan if there was any. ANyone have ideas as to what I can do? I think there's something misconfigured in my installation. Look how abruptly the ground textures disappears, this is very disturbing specially during night flights.So...FS9 issue or something misconfigured? Has anybody found where to find the actual FS2004 No CD update? I thought I had found one but it turned out to be a link to some porn site or something like that.If anybody knows exactly where I can find one I'd appreciate it. Second time it's happened. Flying along all fat, dumb and happy and wham, get the radio button that winxp has run out of virtual memory. What's going on with this crazy sim?I've got plenty of hardrive space (that's what it originally says) and pretty decent specs:AMD 2700XP512MB 3200 RAMWinXP ProATI 9800 Pro 128MB (running in window mode)60 GB hard drive (27GB remaining)FS2004 running on it's own drivevirtual memory handled by system, with 2.92 GB on a swap file, 1.93 free.Most of my sliders are in the middle range, fps locked at 15, running 1024x768, I shouldn't be taxing my system much at all, not with the settings I'm running in FS2004. I was wondering, I have tried a few sceneries, and they work fine, but except they appear along with the default textures. So it's basically 2 terminals into eachother. Is it that way with all sceneries, or just a few, and some will work? If you have had success with FS2k2 working in FSCOF, please post the scenery. Or, is this a thing where we have to wait for the FSCOF scenery to come out?

I would like to follow aircraft startup procedures when I fly, however, the engines are always started for me when I start. How do I make the sim start me with a "cold" plane.Thanks in advance.

Has any one found a solution to this FS2004 nag:In Windowed mode, I can undock with a right click and then drag the "Radio Stack" (or any other window such as the GPS, Throttle Quad. etc) to my second monitor. When I switch to Full Screen mode (Alt + Enter) the Radio Stack window remains where I placed it on the second monitor. But when I again "Alt+Enter" again to re-enter windowed mode, the Radio Stack window returns to monitor number one. Very irritating.I've tried Nvidia drivers 44.03 and most recently went back to 29.58, that came with Win XP Pro all with Direct X DX 9.0b. Both drivers have same problem.
