i started using 3d party addon traffic using PAI, i downloaded UAL, USAIR, SWISS, LUFTHANS and others without a problem.then with Air Canada it says that it cant locat airport CYQB and with Eldelweis its the same but someother airport and with AirEurope it says it cant locate FS9. can soeone please help?adamYou cant truley understand flying until you have actually tasted and felt it.

does any1 know how 2 solve the haze flickering issue in fs2k4? Around noon the horizon is fine and looks like it ading off in the distance. But in the morning or afternoon, the haze is there above the water with a hard edge. I've got a geforce ti4200. Does any1 knmo how 2 solve this?

For my Hi Fi I have a 30 year old pair of Koss K6 headphones which I still like and have a 1/4 stereo jack plug.My Teac Stereo & sub computer sound system has a very small jack socket of the size used for walkman.If I wish to use my K6 with my computer instead of the horrible little ear pieces that I have been using which simply don't do justice to a large jet engine!!!!!:1. Will it work OK if I just make an adaptod cable with a 1/4 stereo socket on one end and a much smaller plug on the other? No impedence mismatch?2. Is the level of power output used by modern small earpiece/ phones the same as is needed by my old much larger headset. ie will I get any volume?

I'll try and desribe a ssimple as I can. When flying during the day on FS2004, it always looks like dusk. By that I mean, i'll set the time as high noon, fair weather and fly the 737 @ 33K ft. The sky, ground and lower clouds are dark in color like it is getting dark, or dusk. Look straight up and the sky is bright blue. Wasn't always like that and i'm at a loss as to when it started. Just noticed it 2 days ago. I've tried every setting and adjustment I know. Possible driver issue? What should I adjust. If I make the scene halfway close, than the plane looks totally white washed. :-( Why is it that you lock your f/sec at 24 and then you see how it jumps between 17 - 24 all the time, accept when you hit the Q (no sound) and suddenly it locks at 24 and will now and then jump to 23? This REALTEK driver is the latest for the Gigabyte motherboard and I've tried everything from hardware acceleration, to LESS DEBUG in DirectX 9b but it does the same.Any other tips on this?Kind regardsT

This evening I thought a nice VFR flight in the Florida Keys would be a pleasant change of scenery.At Key West I jumped into my nice shiny Norseman(just downloaded- lovely plane).The weather was a little murky so I thought it would be good to follow the causeway to the mainland at low level(500ft).Impressive scenery,nice plane....- but whats this???Marathon is truly an island!!!West of Marathon there is about 200 yards of causeway with a nice ramp tipping you into the water(not good for my lovely Porsche if I was driving).There is about a 3 or 4 mile gap in the causeway on the longest over water stretch and a similar(but shorter) gap about 15 miles East of Marathon.…

Hi,Using FS2004 with a GF4 Ti4200 64 mb card and detonator 45.23 drivers. I cannot see the default kneeboard(s) in full screen mode with 2x antialiasing on. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thank you.

Hi everyone,I dearly want to try out Geofa's changes but I can't find Fs9.cfg!I have done about 4 searches of both My Computer as well as my C: drive.I searched for Fs9 as well as Fs9.cfg.I enabled the show hidden files and folders for the search and I have also tried searching manually but no Fs9.cfg!I' went to C:/ Documents and settings/ Username ( here I found: All users, Default user and User 1)/ Application Data/ Microsoft - and then I find lots of anything except Fs9! I search all three of the above mentioned users.Now I have a few questions for anyone that's able to help me:1. Is Fs9 a folder/file that comes standard with all versions of MSFS ie. Hello,Is it possible to assign a key to the AUTOBRAKE RTO???I tried both fs2004 and fsuipc control lists and neither of them have the AUTOBRAKE RTO listed.I noticed it is only possible to assign keys to increase/decrease autobrake but not to the AUTOBRAKE RTO.Am I doing something wrong (missing something) or what?thanks a lotluca

As this problem happens while using MSFS 2002 & COF, I figured I'd post it here. Sorry if thats not correct.Anyways, I have the CH Yoke LE USB & also the CH Pro Pedals USB. I have a button on my yoke assigned as a brake button, (not parking).As soon as I press on the differential brakes on the pedals the yoke button no longer works. It seems to cancel out the setting on the yoke for some reason. I have tried using FSUIPC to assign the brakes to the yoke with still no luck.Also, my CH Yoke keeps cutting out in FS. It works just fine and then nothing. I have to unplug my yoke and then plug it back in to get it back on line.Any help with these two problems would be m…

Hi.I have recently downloaded several airline packages from the Project AI site. I conveniently installed the packages with the PAI Installer one by one. I can see the different PAI aircraft and liveries (Air France, KLM, etc...) when selecting a flight in FS 2004 , but for some strange reason, the EL-AL aircraft do not show in the list of available PAI aircraft. I checked in the main Aircraft folder (CFG files and textures files) - and surely enough, the EL-AL aircraft are all there ! Am I doing something wrong or is the El-AL package corrupted in some way ? I've been attempting the autopilot navigation challenge in chapter 6 of the Sybex guide to FS2004 (page 138). For those of you without the guide, it is a short flight in the Lear using almost exclusively the autopilot. I pick up the glideslope, click APR and the plane then adjusts its course to pick up the ILS localizer, and starts to descend down the glideslope. Thats when things start going wrong. Whatever I do next, the plane dives into the sea short of the destination airport (Vancouver International). I've tried different speeds, intercepting the glideslope earlier/later and various other things, but all without success (I either dive into the sea at some point or mi…

G'day GuysAfter buggering around for the last week and a half i think i finally have a 727 that is the best available from the numerous bits and pieces that are around on the net.I started with the Captain sim 727.Clearly the best 727 model and probably the best modelled aircraft ever in FS9/2002 from where i am sitting.The only problems and they are goodies are the poor flight model and in my opinion bad perspective problems which make a great panel turn pretty average after quite a bit of use.The gauges on the 2d panel are way to small for instrument flying and using zoom in the VC leads to very slow gauge refresh rates which again render it useless.So turning to the ex…

Many panels have autobrakes, with a position named RTO (rejected take-off). I thought it was designed to brake automatically if you abort your take-off. But it doesn't work this way. Maybe I missed something here...Any help ?Thanks !!Eric
