The only way that I can get it to settle out with very little pressure on yoke, is to reduce power... Anyone having the same problems? I'm getting errors with Posky's crj which I know is made for FS2002. It did not say on the website that it would not work with FSCOF. I thought that it might.I have a nice panel for the crj by Marco Spada that for FS2004.Anyway, please give me recommendations on any crj's you might know about or be using that are 100% FS2004 compatible. I was hoping for an AirCanada one that might work. Any crj's that might service northern USA and Canada.Thanks very much, Adam

I've been comparing flight models to my actual real life air time in the Cessna 152 trainer. I must say that for a simulated bird, the Lancair by Robert Christopher has an excellent flight model. It just feels right on the money at takeoff and landing. I know it's not the same model as the 152 but the feel it has is pretty close to what you get with any small plane in flight. When your taking off in a small bird in real life, that edge of the seat feeling you get is really captured here in this bird.I tried the RealAir Cessna model and although it seems to be well thought out, for general practice I've been surprised to find the default 172 feels better to me for some r…

Allowing full resolution for custom mesh filesThe default setting for the maximum mesh resolution is 75 meters. To properly display custom mesh change the following line in fs9.cfgTERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=19 The proper values are - 18 = 150m, 19 = 75m, 20 = 37m, 21 = 19m.I have FSGensis and would like to get full use of the more detail terrain. If I set my vertex level to 20 which will give me 37m does that mean when I fly over 37m terrain it will show its best and revert back to 75m terrain when I fly over non 37m? NP

Hello everyone,I'm experiencing a frustrating problem. I'm trying to learn to fly the Bell. I'm trying to make flight videos so I can watch my progress. The problem is I can take off, hover, and land OK. But, when I play back the video the copter always crashes. I've even landed after only going up 5 feet or so and sat on the tarmac idling for a minute after I landed. When I played the video...it shows a crash. Any ideas? Hi,I have a problem with FS Real Time (ver 1.63.1). It adds 1 hour to the UTC time when in Sweden though it should be 2 hours added. Is this a bug in the program or a setting or something I missed somewhere?/Richard

heyi got this new video card....it has been working a bit strange, in FS i cant see the panel, i just see the runway then the bottom half is black, as you would when no panel is instaled BUT, i can click all the everything on the panel, is i move my mouse around i see the info i.e altimieter, but i cant see the panel, its as if its transparant...also, in the FS09 when i right click and do 'undock window' then i do see the panel....what do i do????????? please help me!Nickp.s vc does work....the cardMSI FX5600-VTDR128i have Windows XP2.26mhz (p4)768DDR ram

Just downloaded and installed the FS9 update for this fine bird. My only gripe, is that on ILS approaches, the plane has a tendency to climb when intercepting the Glideslope. It follows the localizer just fine relative to heading, rate of descent, or really no descent at all is the problem.Frankly, it did the same thing with the non-updated installation, but I cheated and replaced the aircraft.cfg file with one from a 717 which mostly cured the problem. It still went nose up for just a moment, but then recovered and followed the glidepath. With the Iron Knuckles aircraft.cfg file, the attitude is so drastic, that the plane climbs out of the glideslope envelope, and glides…

This FS2004 problem has been discussed quite a bit. It's certainly quite serious, as it can cause frame rates to fall as much as 80 percent. This is how the problem appears: suppose you re-load the scenery, take off from an area with dense autogen and then continue flying for a few minutes. Then, if you either look back or make a U-turn, you find that the frame rates have fallen sharply, making it difficult for the approach. Also the available memory continues to fall. I found that by refreshing the autogen (simply change the density setting and then change it back to the original setting) the frame rates and memory miraculously recover. I was perusing the eaglesoft beechjet and premier docs, and saw that they omitted the FMC because "several third party FMCs are available". Could someone recommend one for me? Are programs like FSNav considered FMCs? Are there any that look like an FMC and can be added to a panel as a guage?Thanks,sg

I have a GeForce 3 Ti500 video card. I now have FS9. Put the 2 together and this is what I get."Your computer cannot currently use 3-D hardware acceleration as it has less than the required amount of video memory. Software 3-D mode has been enabled."The graphics on my FS9 look like big time crap. Where have I gone wrong. You would think that MS would have produced a new sim that would at least operate with a decent video card. Or maybe I have a setting wonky. I do have the latest drivers. Can anybody help?

Hi everyone!I'm thinking of buying an aviation video recorded in the cockpit during a real flight where the pilot and his crew members describe what they do along the flight and so on. Any good suggestions what I should go for? Very happy with the new Omega Drivers 14523 but I've lost half of my screen resolutions in the Display Properties. For example it doesn't want to give me 1280x960x32 which is my favourite resolution on the 19" monitors as well as in FS2004.Any idea how to get them back?RegardsT

Well, I've read the posts who say FS9 is better than a weekend away without the kids, and those who say they are sticking with 2002 but at least they have a nice new door-stop!In about a month I get a nice wee performance bonus at work, and the plan was to finally get my hands on FS2004. I downloaded CSI Air France A319 model yesterday but there seems to be something missing. The beacon and strobe lights don't seem to work. I looked in the aircraft.cfg file and it seems like those files are missing. Could someone e-mail me those files (if you can, don't want to cause any problems), also if someone has a flaps settings for their aircraft.cfg as the one that came with the file I downloaded seems to be missing one.Thanks in [email protected]
