I am using FS2004 with FSNAV and I play on vatsim using SBRelay 1.2 Sometime in flight my IAS indicator stops working and goes down to 0. This causes my throttle to go up trying to gain some speed.Anyone had that problem or knows how to fix it?

All, First off I am a big fan of the FFX products... I downloaded the FFX 727-200 Allegehny repaint with the recommended sound pack [Awesome Sounds] - now one of my favorite planes on my hard drive... On to the DC-10, As per a previous post by FFX, they were reworking the flight model back in July... Has that been updated and is it available? Is there a better FDE to use with this model...The orginal FDE seems a little off - I am by no means an expert... Keep up the good work FFX !!! And THANK YOU...Scott

Hi all.Does anyone know of any developers that are working on creating a freeware alternative to FSUIPC?I guess the developer of FSUIPC has his motives to make his product shareware and it is not for me to judge him.I have multiple throttles which I have just spent ages making (mainly because I couldn't afford to purchase any) and now I find that I cannot use them to create a simple reverse-thrust in FS2004, as this part of the FSUIPC program has been locked down.I was hoping that in amongst all of the brilliant programmers out there, someone might be able to come up with a freeware program. maybe this posting might enspire someone to have a go...I am sure there would be …

Yesterday I downloaded KingAir 200 MOZ , unzipped to a folder on my desktop and dragged it to the FS9 main folder. Everything works fine.Next I downloaded beech_kingair_b200 to FS 2002 the same way. When I opened Create flight and got setup, the only gauges in the panel were the attitude indicator and the vertical speed indicator. When I called up the radio panel, it was blank. The GPS is OK, the compass is OK There are no switches and no other gauges. I need a step by step on how to find and import the missing gauges and switches. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi all,I seem to be becoming a bit of a "realism" junkie, and so I downloaded RealAir's C172 flight model yesterday, as I had seen a great deal of positive comment on it in this forum. And rightly so; it is excellent. Certainly doesn't do weird things during take-off like my default C172 did! Deciding now whether I want their payware offerings too...However, I notice in the read_me file with the C172 flight model that it says set the p-factor (prop effect) slider in FS9 realism settings to HALF-way to have realistic prop effects. Now I naively thought that pushing the slider ALL the way to the right gave me realistic effects... what is going on?! What realism setting…

...land RW32?I flew in FS2004 from ADL (Adelaide) to KGC (Kingscote, Kangaroo Island)last night and got landing clearance at KGC for GPS RW19 circle to land RW32 (or RW33, I can't remember). Since the conditiones were visual and I was approaching the airport from the north I requested a visual apporach to RW19. I then got cleared for a visual approach RW19 circle to land RW32 .So my question is: is there such a procedure in the real world? I have a weird problem. Slowly but surely over time I'm developing a significant stutter in the game. It started as a slight hesitation now it lasts as long as 4 sec. It gets really bad when im in the default cockpit( not vc) and pan around or when outside ac and look around. I've been planning a cross country flight in the DC-3 and have been reading up on dead reckoning and navigating in VFR conditions with a magnetic compass. This has raised a question.When you are taking off in a modern airplane that has a gyro compass, why is the heading on the gyro compass the same as the magnetic compass - which, if I understand correctly, is also the runway's approach course. Should not the gyro compass show the "true" heading and not the magnetic one. For example. Taking off from SEATAC, the magnetic variation according to the sectional is 19 degrees. Is there any tools that let you edit the ils's in fs9? I had one that worked with 2000 & 2002, but it doesn't work with XP. Also, does anyone know where the ils info is kept? KPDXs 28L is still broke. I corrected it in 2002 but the bgls are different in 2004 and I can't edit them anyway with out being able to decompress and compress the bgl files.John

Nice, Expensive, and limited in utility by Microsoft's 4.8M per pixel. As always, textures viewed from a distance looks ok but at about 1000ft from the texture they blur and the expensive systems will not fix that.Let's see if I stop buying food for three months I can get one.Dick KLBE

Hi all,I've been brain dead for a couple weeks but it seems to me that in FS9 we always had vapor trails for the default jets. Now, I notice I don't have them anymore except for the default 737-400. I have made some aircraft.cfg changes recently, but I just added Poskey's A330-200 no vc and there are no trails with it.Would someone tell me in which file I would look, a/c.cfg, panel.cfg, etc. where I could see if I've deleted some files. Hi all i am considering purchasing tha Ariane 737-300 but before i do I just want to knwo what others who have bought it think of the overall aircraft and panel. the exterior looks fantastic but how does it fly and how functional is the panel??

Very smart, very good, very nice.Panel is very neat too--old analog style with digital inserts for engine data. No FMC (I like it !)Visual models are without peer.I've made some cfg tweaks and this bird is flying better'n better.Anybody else?JS

I cannot remember, do jet contrails appear automatically in FS2004 based on atmospheric conditions in the sim, rather than just above FL300 automatically as in FS2002? I have an entry to force contrails in my jet fleet cfg files when temp falls below -30C but I am wondering if this is realistic. Is there a default contrail entry in the .cfg files or not?Appreciate clarification. Sorry for going over previously covered ground.Thanks!JS

I was found there was a thread from this forum, enabling TnL will boost performance, and i had boost up the FPS but one problem, enabling TnL causing Fs9 unstable and random freeze/not responding about 2-3 minutes....when i open the task manager, i close fs9 but it still remain in processes and end up with blue screen(memory dump) after a minute...If i restart the computer before blue screen occured....i got error message...Nview not responding....please help me..i've stuck for a month from this problem..driver updated test with 44.03 or 45.23 no help..I used Double Monitor....if i turn off the TnL sometimes it did not freeze and land safety 3 times...after the 4 times i…

I just reinstalled my system and got FS2004 on a seperate HD (I paid for this thing so I might a well keep trying to make it work as best as possible...)I am curious what everyones framerates are at KSEA default during day in the Kingair... EVERYTHING maxed out, 100% AI traffic, minimum vis and cloud draw distance,autogen at very dense. Sitting on the runway I am getting 17fps, if I do a right hand circuit and come into land I fall down to 9-11fps on final.
