1) Is landclass for FS2002 compatible with FS2004?2) I have MS Sidewinder FF2 with throttle lever, is it possible to make it control reverse thrust as well?

Is there a web forum for FS Meteo...I am looking for the best settings to intergrate it with FSUPIC I seem to have better weather results and smoother wind transitions then with active sky, plus it seems to load other weather centers so that I can see ahead of me weather conditions so I'm happy with it. Just looking to tweak it now.:)

I downloaded 4 of the new POSKY 757's (Britannia, Dutchbird, Thomas Cook, and Monarch) I have the effects files in the effects folder. At night the right side of these planes do not have the logo light, passenger lights, the light splash on the side of the fuselage, or the nose splash light. And today I tried it out again and I didn't have any of those lights on either side of the plane. Can someone please help me. Maybe it's cause Im using the plane in FS2002? and the lights were made for FS2004? :-hmmm

Here is my situation. I just bought and installed an ATI 9600 Pro 256 MB video card. I had a 64 MB one in my Dell 8250 prior to my installation. After the installation, i see absolutely no difference in FS9. Graphically and flyability is no different. I still studder and hiccup down the runway. I have 256mb of RDram, and have 512 more in the mail as we speak. Will that resolve the problem? I cant figure it out. I thought a new video card would drastically improve FS9.....but i was wrong! What am I doing wrong? Thanks

The V2 version of the MelJet 777 has a very weird VC view. On the right I see sky and it's normal, but on the left, it looks like a bit of cabin.The wing views don't work in VC view--I see bits of virtual business class cabin--or in 2-D view either as they do normally on version 1 MelJets. It's like this on two British 777 V2 models, finished by different painters. Am I doing something wrong or is something missing here ?Appreciate advice, thanks!JS

The README mentions something about the large cargo bay doors opening and closing in response to the wing fold/unfold command in FS. I am seeing the "Wings Unfolding" / "Wings Folding" messages in FS in response to the keybindings I've mapped to this functionality, but there's no visual change in the POSKY model in response. The tailhook hotkey seems to work just fine.Did I misread something?

Several questions:* Are there copies of commerical flight plans available on the Internet? Not just with depart/arr, but also waypoints?* Do commercial flight plans use navaids or GPS?* Do the commerical flights within add-ons like MyTraffic and UltimateTraffic use real-time waypoints or are just the depart/arr schedules "real"?* Can I know the flight plan of a commercial flight before I take that flight so I can in essence fly the same route on the PC as the plane I am riding in?Thanks,Joe

Has anyone else had a similar problem with FS2004 and the new POSKY B757s. When I start up FS and option "Create a Flight", I select the POSKY B757, everything else the default, then hit "Fly Now" and the dialog screen comes up with the progress bar, message "Loading Scenery Objects". This dialog box sits for between 20 and 30 seconds before any progress is indicated in the load graph. When I exit, FS (CTRL-F4 ---YES) my disk access light continues to run for over four minutes (assuming part of FS shutdown).I restarted FS, Create a Flight and choose the default B747-400 in the Landmark textures, hit Fly Now and the same dialog box appears with an almost immediate progr…

All of a sudden, When ever I change my display settings, etc, when I reboot the sim they revert back to default? What setting in the cfg. Can I change? Thank's in advance from Jim, Yes I did a search.

After releasing my Ohio scenery last week, I've had some feedback and suggestions which will be incorporated into a small patch in about 10-14 days.The changes: mostly at KCMH, where 1. The static aircraft I placed at the terminal will go away to make room for AI aircraft. 2. AFCAD will be used to place AI aircraft appropriately. 3. A ground polygon will be removed and flickering polygons eliminated (this is my 4th and final fix for this problem. I thought I had fixed it, but my last fix made it worse in two locations!) 4. Where are the strobes on the Posky 757......I can see the light on the wing, but theres no effect...........ummm.......is this something we have to get out of the cargo hold and put on ourself.

I downloaded the following zipped files from avsim.com: posky_757-200_my_travel &posky_757_vc_127053 The install instructions say: Unzip the file and send the Aircrafts folder to the FS2004 Aircraft Folder. OK....Unzip the file to "WHERE" ????? I downloaded the POSKY 757-200 in AA colors this afternoon, no problems installing, but when I loaded up to fly I get a "prop" sound for the engines! Went back to look at all the files, and everything installed correctly, found that it has an "alias" for what looks like Rolls Royce engine sounds, but those sound files were not part of the "package" download? Does anyone know if they are going to be "posted" by POSKY for eventual download, or are we on our own for the sound files? If the latter is the case, can someone point me to a good sound file for the 757-200 that will work with FS4? Thanks, Joe

I am sure that many of you have experienced some funny things when creating flightplans for a traffic.bgl. Well, I am no exception!I created some touch-and-go plans but I did not scrutinize the times very carefully. The touch-and-go part works ok but the timing is off. And it creates a fun (supernatural) occurence. At one time, because of my bad timing, 3 aircarts are combined together and then they peel off into their own entity. Can anyone speculate as to why fs2002 would suddenly stop loading the elevation data.I was playing around with FS scenery creator and everything when kablooey.Now when Iload an airport, everything is really screwed up.The only thing I can notice differenlty is that when the sim is loading, the elevation data loading part just flashing on then goes to load AI.Anyone specualte??Guess Ill have to reinstall.John WhiteNewburgh, IN

A while back, some chap was creating a very good looking KBOS scenery for FS9. Anybody familiar with him that can tell us the status of that great looking project?

I searched the data base, but couldn't find this question addressed previously.I just started flying the Lancair. It seems harder on framerates than some even more complex aircraft I have, such as the Seneca V. Although the 2D panel is very smooth, while in VC my gauges do not update very smoothly....ie the altimeter updates in 100 foot increments rather than continuously, for example. Is this my lack of horsepower, or is this normal in the VC even for faster systems?Also, the ATC call uses "experimental"....is this normal, or is there a sound file with the proper aircraft name?Very nice aircraft.
