Hi all,Without a map loaded in the CH USB yoke, the button functions differ from the assignments in the key commands list. For example, gear down is operated by button 6 and gear up is operated by button 5, i.e. two separate button functions. This differs from the assignments in the key commands list, which only shows a single toggle command (g) for the operation of both gear up and gear down. It appears that without a map loaded the yoke is linked to FS2004 independently of the key commands list.I would like to assign Pan View Reset to a button on the yoke. The key command is KP. although Pan View Reset isn't listed in the SettingsAssignment list. I can work around …

Hi all,Back in August, Adam Rogers re-config'd a panel.cfg for a panel made by Jorge Salas for the 777-300 default and MelJet 777 so that it would work in FS9.Has anyone seen an update for the 747-400 (2K2) panel by Jorge Salas that would be compatible with FS9? I once was able to initiate a "view forward" (either by keyboard or joystick assignment) with a forward view aligned with the direction of the heading of the aircraft regardless of what other views I had selected previously. Now, after a pan procedure, when I activate view forward - the result is a view of the last direction of the view forward. Maybe I'm not making myself exactly clear explaining this but any help or followup questions would be appreciated.Wilbert

I know a lot has been said on this forum about how simulation does not even compare to the real thing. Maybe in a lot of ways that is true, but I would argue about how well we are able to simulate flight and that it is actually very amazing. Think about it, by sitting at a desk, having a small box packed with electronics, a video display and some sort of crude controller we can actually simulate many aspects of flight. Not only that, but you can pick any spot on this planet of ours and actually make a virtual flight there. We also have a huge hanger full of a variety of aircraft that we can fly at our choosing. Just wondering if anyone might know what my prob is here. I have done a bunch of tweaking so I do not know where it began. Seems like my gauges in PSS 330 or pmdg 737 are a little blurry. Still readable but for some reason they became a little blurry lately. Any ideas? I am running 1280X960X32 with a radeon 9800 pro

Can someone please help me with some issues:1.I have had a problem with my panels disappearing and being replaced with other panels i.e. Cessna panel. Can any one shed any light as to why this is happening and how to resolve the issue? 2. How fo i prevent blurring on my aircraft

Hi,When the real weather is updated, FS2004 changes the sky immediatelly. I'd like to get smooth transition as in real life.Until now I couldn't see in Fs2004 the feature of look to another region and see a different weather there. Do I need to disable live updates and fly with the downloaded weather ?Or any setting to avoid the fast change in weather conditions, popup clouds, etc ?Thanks,Ulisses

I noticed after installing the new 45.23 3D drivers for my Nvidia 5600 Ultra card (45.23 driver)and e-dimensional glasses that I lost the bumpmapping effects for water. It's possible to change the detail settings for water and land, but it doesn't seem to alter the scenery. It also doesn't seem to matter if 3D is being used, just the presence of the drivers affects it. Once I uninstall the 3D drivers, the water effects return. Has anyone else noticed this? Any ideas or work arounds?Kevin

Have you ever been flying (especially at night) with the lights in the room turned OFF and have someone (perhaps your loving wife) walk into the room and switch the lights ON?Well...I bought a plastic hood for my 19" monitor thinking that would help....not!So I'm planning to make a hood on the order of the kind they have for the old picture cameras.Perhaps out of pvc pipe and black fabric that I can attach to the monitor when flying.I have a basic idea but thought I'd see if anyone else has done this and if you have could you give any pointers?I'm looking at cheap but effective.Thanks,Cliff (PDX)

Who would like to see a company like Avsim, Microsoft, any of the great add-on companies or all of them combined host a few different kind of annual air events online. We seen how much the around the world races can be that others have so very well hosted but dont you think that like how ESPN gave sports like skateboarding, BMXing and Snowboarding there own plateform of the x-games we should have something other than conventions in our community? HiI've d/l both versions of the A330-200 recently, version 1 in FS9 caused the whole ground beneath and my Gatwick scenery to go totally blury, and staying blury.I've just d/l version 2, hoping it would fix the problem, but nope :(It's has excellent model and visuals but this blury problem has got to be the worst I've ever had. No other 3rd party or Payware a/c (inc. PMDG 737) does this. Hello simmers:Just installed the C1-A Trader and could not get any sounds at engine start up, or for that matter, any sound at all. I then copied Trev Morrison's DC-3 sound set to the Trader sound folder. Voila, sounds!However, when you hear the engine cranking, the prop does not rotate and does not begin it's rotation until you hear the sounds of the running engine.Is there any way to align these two phases so the sound is coordinated with the rotation of the prop or is this deep coded material to the model file?ThanksChris

Hi everybody!I downloaded a freeware ATR 72 from www.fsdownload.nl (-> Fs 2004 aircraft/ 2nd page). It's actually really great, but half of the gauges are missing or they are in the wrong place though I think I did the installation right. It's a really good freeware aircraft. When flying online lately, all other aircraft partisipating are displayed to be of the same type that I'm using.If I for example use a Piper Archer, all other aircraft that I see are Piper Archers even though the pilot/s confirmed to me that they are using aircraft of a totally diiferent type.I don't know how, why or when it happened, because it use be right and when using Fs offline the AI aircraft that I see are what they are supposed to be.Anybobe got any help??Lodewyk

I have the new Ariane 737-800 Qantas with winglets, but I think that there is something wrong. I really like the model, but I'm not sure it flies right. When I'm cruising at say 4000 ft at 250 kts with the AP on, it doesn't settle...it keeeps going from 3970 to 4030 ft. Is this how it's supposed to be? When I'm at FL310 doing 0.76 M, there's nothing wrong. Is there somehow I can replace the flight dynamics of this plane with another/better one? If so...which one?Thanks/Mikkel
