Flight model fidelity, aircraft configuration files, .air files. I am by far no expert with this stuff. Here is what I know, got my ppl in 91, IFR cert in 93, co-owned a 172 for 9 years.Get the RealAir Simulations FS9 freeware offering - fly it in a pattern. Hi everybody!I downloaded a freeware ATR 72 from www.fsdownload.nl (-> Fs 2004 aircraft/ 2nd page). It's actually really great, but half of the gauges are missing or they are in the wrong place though I think I did the installation right. It's a really good freeware aircraft. I installed the Cessna04.zip to improve textures on my 172 and 182.I now no longer have any interior 2D views on my default aircraft except for the main panel. I tried re-installing the aircraft but still have no interior 2D views.

Hi - new Forum user here..I have the PMDG 7377 and am pretty happy with it for the most part. One of the coolest features is the "rumble" noise that plays when you activate the spoilers.Here's my problem. I HATE the panel that came with the aircraft. Personally it's too complicated for me (at this point anyway) and I'm more interested in simpler panels. When I placed a new panel in the aircraft's folder, everything is glorious except - NO spoiler rumble. :(I've found the .wav file that creates the sound. However, I can't find any code in any of the .cfg files - sound, aircraft, panel, etc, that control the activation noise. Does anyone have any idea where this resid…

I don't know if I titled this right but I'm looking for some opinions here. I see so many people using FS for bush flying and other GA purposes. After flying around in real Cessna's and getting the feel for a real aircraft's performance I find FS's FDE a little arcadish. What I mean by that is the most important feature I noticed when flying smaller aircraft is the Adverse Yaw when turning the aircraft. I had no idea of the importance of the rudder up until this point. The main Fuselage doesn't automatically turn just because you bank the wings. Hi All,I backed-up a previously installed version of FS9 and reloaded FS9 on a separate partion on my HD (after format)and am wondering which file(s) Edit Voice Pack edits to add the custom call signs to the sim. Hi Folks ! I have a very annoying problem on the FS2004 screen. The white lines and boxes on the runway flicker a lot when viewed from a distance. These are ok when viewed from very near point. Also the walls of buildings and hopuses flicker a lot from a distance. With FS2002, the degree of flickering is much less but there are flickering. Hi all,Just installed new HD and new Video card - Asus V9520/TD Fx5200. reinstalled fs2k4 and now I get flickering menus when for instance trying to select aircraft I cant see anything but the picture of the aircraft in the menu, all the rest is black, and thus cannot select anything. I have tryed a couple of different FDE files but still have a problem getting the aircraft to turn(very little turn at best). Is there something built into the aircraft's model file that might cause this? I notice on the panel I am using that rather the rudder indicator showing movement when turning the yoke left(no rudder pedals here, autorudder)it instead shows spoiler/speedbrake movement. No indication at all when turning right. I know this is an AI model but never had this turn problem with other aircraft.thanks

Hi, I'm not too much of a PC boffin and most of the stuff in the forums seems like Greek to me.My problem is that with some commercial aircraft like the Flight 1 C310, everything goes reasonably well until I get to my destination airport. Then everything starts to stutter, I can't dare to take any other view than straight ahead cause when my forward view eventually return, I'm already on the runway. Just finished installing it and took RealAirs C172 for a quick circuit around KWWD. Things I noticed: No more scenery tile flashing!, Taxiway signs! Airport beacons that actually work! Seems like I'm flying over populated areas!I got bored with 2K2. FS9 has awaken me so to speak. I'm sure I'll run into some bugs, I'm actually expecting them after reading the posts here, but that's ok. When the talented folks start making the good schtuff for us, FS9 is really gonna rock! (Just my opinion.)Enough rambling, I'm gonna go fly some more :)

I have the FeelThere ERJ paint of US Airways Express and the tail logo on the pilot side of the plane is backwards, also there was no registration number put on the plane. If I email the textures, can one of the talented painters fix those two things for me? I would try and fix them myself but I don't have a paint program to use.
