Hi, I've gone through many pages here and cant find the answer, OpusFSI does not see joystick/yoke button assignments but does see keyboard assignments. I use FSUIPC for everything, does that matter? Thanks

Question: Do you use Nvidia Inspector? If you don't, I'd like to know why. I'm trying to go through some investigative work to see what is causing intermittent crashes in the sim. Not CTD types, but fatal errors and graphic anamolies that require a total restart. Stan

Whenever I land at Lukla I fall thru the runway onto the green hill below no matter how slow my rate of descent. I have FTX Global with Vector and am wondering if it is compatible. I see VNLK listed as being excluded from Vector elevations but I do not see VNL2 listed. I tried configuring it manually but VNL2 is not even listed on the "enabled" vector elevation list. First off, is anyone using this scenery without problems with FTX Global + Vector and the mesh they recommend? THanx in advance Donald

Hi, I haven't been playing FSX for almost a month, so I decided to play today. I run the game and I see the artifact as shown in the image Never had such thing before, also when in full screen mode the two vertical lines whill have a green chunk which will expand up and down with screen activity, eg. when I pan views Ezdok. I'm running on a single 1080p monitor, windows 7 64 bit and a GTX 980 SC with WHQL driver version 350.12. Thanks in Advance.

Radar Contact 4 has been my go-to application for ATC control, but it's showing it's age and hasn't been updated in quite some time. Is there anything on the horizon as a replacement which is as good if not better? (I'm not a fan of vatsim, so that's not an option for me at this time.)

Hello all I seem to be having a problem with GSX after months of perfect operation. So far I have tried updating GSX, updating FSUIPC, running GSX and FX in compatibility modes and as administrator but nothing seems to be working. The GSX engine starts up perfectly when I start a flight. I open the menu to request refueling. FSX then just loses focus and no GSX ground service vehicle/ animations are displayed. The cuotl engine and the GSX menu disappears from the Add- on menu. I have tried with numerous aircraft and sceneries but the problem seems to be persistent. Hello, don't get me wrong people, I love FSX, and I've been more or less using it since it was released in 2006 but... How is that today's most powerful computers can't barely maintain 30 frames around big airports? And you have to work hard for that (best hardware money can buy, dx10 fixers, tweaking, more tweaking, some luck... and a little bit of tweaking probably next day). Just when you need maximum precision, when you're landing, everything drops! Try landing Carenado's C90 at LEBL with Aerosoft Barcelona X installed and you'll know what I mean. You can always lower your graphics settings, using default scenery and aircraft only, killing AI flights, stay…

To be honest I'm not even sure when it disappeared but today I realized that sun and moon are not visible on the sky. I use REX 4 + Soft Clouds, DX10 fixer, FSUPC. Sun position (shadows) is working fine it's just sun itself is not visible. Anybody got any idea what to check/redownload?

Hi All, This question is about UT2 in FSX or any AI program. I have added some additional aircraft and schedules from WOAI through PowerPack but these aircraft don't turn on their cabin and logo lights when sitting at the gate only when taxiing and flying. I have searched high and low over the forums for answers but most folks talk about night textures missing or the alpha channel not activate in FSX coz its an FS9 aircraft etc etc however this is not my problem as I do get night logo lights and cabin lights when the airplane is moving, just not when they sit at the gate sleeping like all the UT2 aircraft. I'm attempting to set up and broadcast on Twitch. I have a high end Windows 8.1 machine. I want to broadcast (or record) an FSX flight in full screen mode, I'm using FSXFlight to feed my iPad ForeFlight and I'm trying to use Reflector 2 to mirror the iPad to a window on the PC. Then capture and broadcast both the FSX and Ipad window using Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). I am failing miserably... 1. Reflector 2 keeps crashing when FSX is running. 2. I can't get anything but a black screen using OBS and Window Capture for the Reflector 2 window. 3. Hey everyone, not going to be here tomorrow, so I may not reply to you quickly, but I have a question. In the Wilco ERJ 145, I click the Hydraulic Electric pumps, and it doesn't make a noise, so I want to add a sound to it so that it will make a noise when they are turned on (just like the real thing). So, I have the sound file in .wav format already recorded and ready to go. But what do I do now? I've added it into the sound.cfg, the default and airplane sound folder, but I can't hear the sound. Hi, I'm curious iFly 737 for fsx ground support. Does a gpu, air cond unit and other equip using textures/animation exist somewhere? The same I bought the 737ng was able to do a successful flight to Cuba using the Eastern Air Lines N276EA texture. I was one of my extraordinary simulation flying. Love the product. Thanks Joe

So, I just started everything up, clean install. I got all my addons in: A2A Comanche/Majestic Q400, Rex4, ASN, FTX Central/Vectors. I'm getting 40 FPS locked unless I go to Seattle. Thing is, I can't really tell if all my textures are loaded or not. After you've been doing the tweaking for so long, it all rolls into one. So, how can I make sure my textures are loaded in? I know everything else is working right but Rex4. It looks great, but I mess with the Runway textures, and I don't think anything is changing.... but I'm not sure!!! I would like to fly the DeHavilland DHC-3T Otter in FSX...not 2004. Is there a good payware (or freeware) model available? Since the Alaskan air crash recently, I have a curiosity about this plane since I really love flying in Alaska. I've disabled EZDOK camera in exe.xml and I can't get SPACEBAR + Mouse to pan the view in VC like it was possible before I installed EZDOK. The mouse cursor still changes to cross when I press and hold SPACEBAR, but I can't pan the view by moving the mouse. In FSX CONTROL AXES assignments under Mouse Look there are still these lines: View - left/right axis (pan) Left/Right View - up/down axis (pan) Up/Down Any ideas? Thanks, Dirk. Thinking of trying Ezdoc but have a few questions first. Main question is there an alternative to using the number pad? I do not have a number pad on my keyboard and Ezdoc seems to rely on using the number pad. Next, is there a way to setup the mouse so it does panning around, up and down and in and out (zoom). I am hoping I can use the mouse and mouse buttons to set it up this way. I want to emulate Track Ir but with the mouse.

Hey guys, I'm confused of what version to purchase for P3D. Basically, I wanted something like PMDG or Aerosoft quality products, not sure what features would be using. Is the Pilot version enough?

I have seen the "Thrustmaster MFD Cougar Pack", and keep wondering if they are big enough to simulate a pair of Garmin? They are a pair of square bezels with five buttons on each side and a rocker switch in each corner making for twenty buttons and four switches per bezel. Sounds good so far, but, they are only 5.5in x 5.5in (141mm) square on the outside and only 4.25 x 4.25in (108mm) square on the inside. I do not see how they can be big enough to simulate a Garmin. At the end of disc 2, FSX says it can't find a file that I can't remember. Sometimes, it also said error 1309. I don't know what this is, if someone else knows that would be great. Anyway, if the option is to reinstall windows 7 then I'll probably just wait for Windows 10. It probably will be compatible, at least folks around here say it probably will be. Anyway, I would love to get FSX working since now I had to go to back to FS9 ( at least that worked). Thanks.
