Hi, I have logged about 10 hours flying the Dash and I really love it, but I having a problem with transitions between the last point of the STAR and the beggining of the ILS approach. In the FMS I enter the arrival runway, STAR, ILS approach and transition, but transition between STAR and ILS is not showed in the route. Particularly it is not drawn any procedure turn or racetrack but they are included in the charts as part of the ILS approach. It usually includes a no link between the end of the STAR and the begining of the ILS. I have to delete the no link and then either flying the procedure turn in HDG mode or to enter a holding pattern in the FMS, but I …

Hi all, I was wondering if there are any cons from using fsuipc to launch supporting apps (eg ezdok) instead of including them in the EXE.XML source. I find Ezdok often crashes on start up and thought this might be a way of delaying it's start until I'm into the sim proper. I'm happy to experiment, but thought I'd see if it has been done successfully before. Cheers, Mark B.

Some websites place limits on how long you can download the addons you've purchased. What do you do if the product is updated after your download expires? (for both products with keys and products without [for keyless, an example would be FS2Crew])

After installing the latest update from Majestic I started re-installing my added liveries. All is fine with the passenger versions, but my cargo repaints like FedEx and Purolator don't show up in the aircraft selection page. I've reinstalled them carefully several times but no go. Hi, Stephen: Is there any chance of you contacting this developer to see how to generate the file that he needs for his weather radar guage? Apparently ASN generates a file that he loads. His program will not work with FSI. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/459050-another-radar-gauge-for-vc-window-usage/ This looks like a really neat radar guage that he has developed. It would be great if all of us FSI users could take advantage of it. Thanks

So I am reinstalling FSX again. Looking to get the best landclass and terrain data. I already installed FTX Global Base 1.3 and FTX Global Vector 1.2. Looking to tackle Terrain and Land Class now. I do 80% of my flying in North American, 20% in Europe. I know ORBX makes regional scenery's but nothing for Central and Eastern NA. I do know that UTX Europe is out there, but isn't it dated, along with UTX Canada. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cardo

Hello. My problem is next: I start a flight with payware aircraft at payware airport. On the ground and until ~FL300 all is OK. But when I fly high my FPS go down and I have a freezes. I always think that must be vise versa. Any suggestions? I'm using FSX Gold version and it seems that my TFFJ St. Barts airport is not working correctly. I cannot touch the ground. I can land and shut off the engines, but my aircraft is suspended in the air above the runway. It is the same if I reload the aircraft on the ramp. I am using FTX Global. Could this be the problem? Hey, how are you? I am using FSX and DX10 with Steve's Fixer. It doesn't matter which scenery which addon, but my sim will lag every few seconds... I mean the FPS is constant for few seconds than it lags... After about 2 seconds FPS starts to increase. This drives me crazy and I don't know what to do... Not so long ago I read about a tool that's capable of positioning even complex 3rd party airliners anywhere in the air including configuring them accordingly so that "instant flying" is possible. Unfortunately, I didn't make appropriate notes for later reference, now I've forgotten what that tool is. The closest I found googling is "FS Instant Approach" (http://www.fsinventions.com/featuresinstantapproachpro2015.asp). After a 9 month hiatus from flightsimming, I've begun to get back into things. I'd like to purchase some more jets, but I'm not really sure where to go. I currently own the PMDG 737 NGX (my only payware or freeware plane). I'd like to get a smaller regional jet as well as a larger jet (for cross country or transatlantic flights). Hi! Im not really sure if i have a problem or not. But when i open the control panel the flight config, system and weight & balance works fine. But when im going to flight controls and engine controls the windows keeps flashing/flickering and its really annoying to look at. Why? And am i suppose to move my yoke, throttle or whatever and get a response in the panel? Because im getting none.. i can only change the values manually. This is on P3D by the way, and its running while accessing the CP.

I am trying to land Boeing 737 on runway 27R using ILS at Heathrow, London flying from Paris. The plane follows course until that morse code beep sound comes. After that when I change it from GPS to NAV, the plane starts to go somewhere else instead of runway. Here's what I am doing. 1. It is set to follow GPS and not NAV 2. ILS frequency 110.30 is set in NAV1 (screenshot below) 3. Course is set to 273 (screenshot below) 4. Before take off, I set my altitude to 4000, speed to 300 and enable auto throttle, VOR LOC etc. i.e. I keep plane ready in auto pilot mode 5. Installed FSX-SE today to run a few tests and found to my surprise that the SLI bar showed up (I forgot I'd left it running in NVidia Control Panel), and that it was clearly indicating a load on both of my 980s, increasing on both sides of the line as graphics demands went up. I'm guessing that this is some sort of artifact of the way the Control Panel is interacting with the Steam App, and not actual SLI support for FSX. Can anyone confirm? I'd be surprised to find out that Dovetail had slipped SLI into FSX-SE without telling anyone. I can't see that this SLI, whatever it is, is having any impact on performance - but then, this is a virgin install and performance …

Hi everyone, I'm new on this forum. I have been searching for a simple program to manually set weather into fsx. I'm working on a small home cockpit used as a trainer for pilots students. I've created, starting from an Arduino microcontroller, an instrument panel with all the switches of a Mooney Bravo ect... connected all via FSUIPC to FSX. The instructor station PC should have a program to set failures and weather while the student is flying. I've tryed setting weather via FSUIPC but no success... Does anyone know a simple method/software to inject custom weather into fsx without the use of the fsx menu? Elia p.s. freeware if possible …

Afternoon everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good mansion or big house scenery object that I can download and add to a private airfield I'm building using Flight1 Instant Scenery. I used to have one which was a lovely wooden building with stone columns in the corners and either side of the doors but I can't remember what scenery (add on) it was part of.
