just wondering if ya guys know how long the demo period lasts for the fsdt gsx? Is it just a few min or one whole flight? Thanks guys

1. I have this problem with Airbus A321 and A380 i.e. if I am playing a free flight and plane is running on runway then it auto takes off. I am not facing this problem with other planes. So basically I am on runway ready to go, I press F4 to full throttle, when it reaches speed around 140, 150 then it takes off near the end of runway. Why is that? 2. When I play free flight then my plane always starts at the runway from where it will take off. I don't want that. I want to taxi the plane to the runway and then take off from there. For e.g. if I am supposed to take off from runway 7R then at the start of free flight plane will already be there so I just have to throttle…

Having problems with FSX SE communicating with the keyboard and Saitek X-55 thottle. The problem first became apparent when selecting reheat/afterburner. Selecting via the keyboard and the throttle is intermittent and even if it does light up it flames out. Operation seems better when I use the mouse to operate the throttle levers. Any ideas?

Resently i took advantage of a 50% discount to buy the A330-A340 package. from CLS. Good deal for the price, but i have some trouble with it. For one i have found the solution myself and i posted it here in just in case someone else is looking for it. The TCAS is working on the A330 but not on the A340.That one turned out to be simply a missing gauge in the panel.cfg for the TCAS logic. Solution. Go to simobjects --> airplanes --> CLS_A340_300 --> panel and make a copy of panel.cfg (just to be save) open panel.cfg in notepad and scroll to the last entry in [Window00] section, in the original file this is, gauge39=CLS_A343_FSX!ICON_SC, 22,1047,…

Hello, i'have made a flight with the PMDG Boeing 747-400 to EBBR 25L ILS 110.35, but during the interception of the centerline the plane didn't react on APP, because the EBBR 25L ILS in FSX-SE = 110.30. I have installed Airac 1506. Is there something I must do to get the correct frequency (110.35) in FSX-SE and how can I accomplish that? Regards, Jaap Mooijer

Hi, My FSX Gold was running now for years. All of a sudden I get extremely annoying publicity on my start-up screen from Dovetail Games, FSX Steam, PC-Pilot etc. My standard Start-up situation are not selectable any more, the menues are covered with publicity. Selecting a free flight or a mission etc let my FSX Crash. What worked for years has been messed up! Dovetail hacked my FSX and doesn't leave me an option! I considered to switch to FSX SE after my vacation. I doubt I will consider a product from a such imposing company. This publicity made my FSX useless! How can I get rid of this publicity? Hi All, I've got an unusual problem - some (not all) of my AI are taxing above the taxiways. Most are fine, but I've noticed one or two with some recent flights (screenies below). I'm using Orbx Global and My Traffic 6. The airports are MHGT and MGGT (first time at both). I've checked for duplicate AFCADs - nothing found. Any thoughts or paths for troubleshooting? When I load up any Fairchild, it opens with a glimpse of nav light on the exterior and a couple of knobs on the VC. The engine sound is nice but otherwise nothing. I know it's there but I can't see it.

Just checking if anyone has tried this yet and how they like it. I have Pro 5.4c right now. Thanks

How hard are used to place an ILS in FS2004 if it's missing, and what tools do I use? The specific ILS Im talking of is ILS RWY36R at KVQQ (Cecil Fld, Jacksonville FL) and also for KJAX ILS RWY13.Thanks,Eric T

Does internet speed effect FSX performance ? I'm not talking dial up.

Hi, I already tried all searches, but did not find any information on how to read out the text of the ATC window. I use FSX with the SimConnect library, but cannot find any way to access this ATC window text by software. Does anyone have an idea on this ? Manfred

I am trying to land this Beoing 747-400 since yesterday. Here's the screenshot. The runway is right ahead (you can see the red/orange light just ahead of airplane nose) I am running on auto pilot. Most of the time the airplane stalls. Twice I managed to land it on the land besides runway but it crashed probably because nose was too low or may be too high speed. What is the appropriate speed, pitch, altitude for this approach? At what time shall I use flaps and landing gear? Sometimes the plane is either too high or at high speed. If I keep speed low then it stalls.

I have tried to do so, and there were issues displaying the aircraft's model. The folder and file structure looks fine. Does anyone know if it is possible?

A strange problem I have never seen before has appeared. I cant get FSX to run in full screen mode. If I press Alt Return or choose full screen from the menu FSX only goes back to windowed mode. I tried deleting the fsx.cfg file and first it worked. FSX started in full screen mode as it used to but after the FSX Fiber Accelerator started FSX got minimized to the task bar and I couldn't maximize it. I exited FSX. And when I restarted it opened in windows mode which couldn't be changed to full screen. I don't have this problem in FSX-SE or P3D 2.5.

I've looked everywhere but I'm unable to find the OAT (outside air temp) displayed on the FMC or any other gauge in the Q400. Is this missing or am I looking in the wrong spot?! Thanks for any guidance, Brent

I apologize if this been ask before but I took a step away from FS for awhile and now getting back. I see there's another platform FSE-SE being offered. What are the difference between the 2 or the advantages moving to FSE=SE? Is there a site where I can read and compare why I should move to FSE-SE? Thanks in advance for any feedback Bill M

This looks like a bug to me. Go to "Free Flight" and choose Boeing 747-400. Select airport "Jinnah Intl" which is in Karachi, Pakistan. Now try to take off and you will see it crashes while plane is running on runway. Even if you go slowly like taxing on runway, it still crashes after it reaches a specific point. Is this a bug?

I'm having a problem with the FSX default ATC for Manchester, (EGCC) it uses runway numbers 06L, 06R, 24L, & 24R rather than the correct 05L, 05R, 23L & 23R. My UK2000 Airports & PMDG flight management computer are correct with their runway numbers so i was wondering if i could alter the default ATC to say the correct runway numbers? Thankyou for reading. Hey everyone, I want to uninstall everything FSX related from my SSD and go at it fresh. I have the Steam version, FTX Global, Rex + Soft Clouds, ASN, the Majestic Q400 and probably a couple things I can't remember. What's the best way to go about it to get a nice clean uninstall? I have a feeling this could turn into a mess! Thanks a lot!
