Is there a tutorial available where I can learn to operate the following GPS? For e.g. I know if you click on NRST then it shows nearest airports. But I don't know anything after that i.e. how to select that airport and navigate airplane to it etc.

I've been using UT2 with FSX for years and it's a terrific program. The only issue I've had with it is that all UT2 AI traffic (as far as I've observed) cruise at odd-numbered altitudes, i.e. FL330, FL350, FL370 etc.no matter what magnetic heading it's flying. IOW, the UT2 AI planes don't observe the "east-west" rule (as it is in N. America, may be different elsewhere) where IFR traffic generally cruise at odd-numbered altitudes from mag 000-179degs, and even numbered altitudes when flying mag heading 180-359deg. Hello... I have found some very old threads with same issue, but never found a answer/solved. Suddenly after starting my FSX -I had about 15 fps more in all situations, than normal... but the clock time seconds in FSX went slower. After a restart of my computer it ALL went back to normal. Never seen it before.. All i did - Some windows updates, new rebuild of scenery library and update of GEX europe. I loved the high FPS, but not the slow clock, time rate was still 1x I cant recreate the situation. What happend ??? Chris from Denmark

Hi all, After I load the Turbine Duke, if I go to my aircraft list, they're all gone. Doesn't happen with any other plane. Anybody see this before? EDIT: Also, afterward when I exit I get a CTD too.

Hi, I had FSX and some addons installed and bought a new SSD drive specifically for the sim. I wanted to start from scratch and ran all the uninstallers I saw, finishing with fsx. Strangely I noticed the FSX folder (and files) had not been deleted so I did so manually. I know go to install FSX again but the installer only lets me delete or repair, like it still sees something there. But the problem is: - if I choose remove it gives an error - if I choose repair it re-add the FSX file structure where it used to be and says "copying new files" but just site there doing nothing... (Folders are created but size is 0, no files). Help????

As stated on the official web page, only Windows 8 is supported, but is Opus FSI compatible with Windows 10 64 bit? Regards

I was just curious as to those who knew more about this than I do. What does FSX-SE, or even FSX use up the most? CPU, GPU, RAM, VRAM?

Hi Folks ! Is it possible to write out to the screen the current seat / eyepoint "XYZ" positions-coordinates, like the zoom factor ? What must be write to the fsx config ? How can I do that ? Thank You !

Hi all, I have considering upgrading my system which is below. It currently runs FSX quite well but I want it to run even smoother - suggestions please. Note - I have not listed my hard drives as I am not too worried about upgrading to an SSD to improve loading times - as far as I understand an SSD will not make it actually run faster. Okay, so for a while I was messing about with the different freeware KSEA sceneries that were about until taxi2gate came along. When I say messing about, porting over my fs9 version and trying to get it to work with orbx. Anyway, ever since, I seem to be missing a texture from KSEA, which now appears as a massive black skyscraper which appears to the right of rwy 34r. I assume it's a radio tower of some sort. So.... How do I re find this texture or can I pull the textures from the fsx disk to manually reinstall it Please help!! Dan

ES Citation X V2 autopilot One example: With autopilot ON. In FMS NAV mode. I select HDG mode button ... HDG is bug set to a new heading. Aircraft does not turn. The annunciation is HDG (left green arrow) PIT (HDG and PIT are both green) annunciated on PFD. However, if I select V/S then the aircraft turns. The PFD annunciation is now HDG (left green arrow) and ASEL (white) So, it is not possible to go directly into a commanded HDG mode?

Hello I was flying the PDMG 747-400X queen of the skies and was looking at everything. Overall I think it is a great aircraft but there are several bugs that really annoy me and I can't be near the simulator when they are occuring. One bug (although i don't know if this is a bug) is where fuel flow is different for every engine as well as different then what PDMGs documentation states it should be (GE air canada for those who are wondering). Now this isn't as such as a problem since i just correct fuel so that it states there is enough in the fmc progress page. Another bug and this is the major one is what I call the rolling bug. Hi there guys, i was wondering if anyone knows why my FSX is now running like it is in slow motion and my frame rates are through the roof. When i set my frame rate to unlimted, it hits the high 300's but runs in slow motion [not like a slide show, just slow motion]anyone had this before?thanks, Andrew Fletcher

i see that Rex soft clouds is on sale. I have been using rex4 and asn for a year now. And very very happy with it. Just wondering if I will notice a difference right away with the low level clouds? What do ya guys think?

1. I am using keyboard to play FSX. In its settings there is an option called "Autorudder" which is enabled by default. When I disabled it then my arrow keys stop working i.e. I cannot move aircraft in any direction. What's the purpose of autorudder? 2. How to turn aircraft slightly to left or right without rolling?

Hey guys, I have saitek x55 rhino and it worked jist fine earlier. But now it gives problem in my airbus and my vrs superbug. But it works just fine in all other planes. On moving throttle, the virtual throttle wont move. Need help

When i first installed flightbeam ksfo it was working fine but now when i load up fsx the terminal for ksfo is invisible. I even tried it without any other scenes but it still happend. I tried reinstalling it still does it, reinstalling fsx still does it, and redoing my computer by scratch. Please help i didn't pay 40$ for nothing!

After a lot of contemplation I finally bought the Aerosim 787, and I've run into an error before it's even gotten into FSX. I'm not able to install it. Each time I run the installer it gets to where it starts installing and then it says the IDriver module has failed and that the installation has failed as well. I've contacted the developer directly via email but I've also seen several threads here on it that have gone unanswered, what is the solution to this problem? Not sure what it is about the default beaver, but I like it. Problem is, I rarely do amphibious flying and I'd like a fixed wheels version for FSX for bush flying. Does anyone know where I could get the default beaver with fixed wheels?

With the release of A2A's Commanche I have realised that I might be waiting on a GA twin from A2A for a long time! So I've checked the reviews and just installed Realair's piston Duke. It is nice! I have a homebuilt twin cockpit setup, so deselected all the fancy VC extras like grime and reflections; I have a Buttkicker installed and the wonderful sounds of the Duke go perfectly with that. What Version of SimConnect Should I Have? What is ESP SimConnect? I recently purchased Air Alaska addon mission set. Had a SimConnect error on install. Install completed. Hi everyone, I've had a love/hate relationship with FSX for a long time that has resulted in several time periods where it was uninstalled and I tried other things. New hardware has me to the point where I consider FSX to be finally flyable, however I could still use some help in the usual problem areas like LAX, JFK, EGLL, etc. I swear I remember there being an addon (I thought it was freeware as well) that would analyze your FPS and take away elements of the surrounding scenery based on how slow your framerate was.
