I've recently gotten into flying my PSS Dash-8 and actually learning how to use the FMC. I do have the airbus packages as well, but haven't gotten to them yet.I'm looking for a good heavy jet with clickable VC. I've seen the comments flying about the PMDG - it is the only heavy with a clickable VC?? I want one but I understand that DreamFleet and CaptainSim are not far behind.Are there any out there that I am missing??

It seems Ariane is pulling out all the stops on their new NG marketing. Go check out their site and youll see what I mean.Im not trying to start a bashing thread, but some of the comments on their website are quite nasty towards PMDG (Who's Camp im in). I have no doubt that the Ariane offering will be classy, but no doubt IMHO it will be way more than what PMDG charge, not as detailed, and I guess it will be

Guys,I'm having a little problem regarding the deploy of reversers on all my aircrafts, except the PSS Airbus, since they use the + and - keys to change the throttle position.When I touch down, with throttle idle, and try to make reverse thrust deploy, it doesn't a continued reverse behaviour, this is, in a moment it works, in a second returns to idle, in the second after reverses again, and sometimes it starts to reverse for 3 or 5 seconds...I use a Thrustmaster yoke, where I set a button to act like F2, however, I continue to try the F2 key itself and with the same results.Any clue?Thanks in advance.Miguel

Hello all,We have had numerous requests to let FS users know how a company such as FFS goes about making an FS add-on. Given my love for writing, I have started a thread in our forum describing the entire process. I have the PMDG 737 700 version, but I don't fly it much. Why? Well, you'll probably scorn me for this, but I don't like the FMC and I'm probably too busy to learn it. Maybe if I took some time, I'd probably learn it, but I DO LIKE the FS9 GPS. It's informative, easy to use, and shows a moving map of where you're going and what you're passing over. I just like it. I'm sure I'll get "blasted" by all you "purists" out there saying the 737 doesn't have that GPS, but I don't care. I like it and love using it! Is there any way to include it in the panel of the new PMDG model? If there is, I'd love to learn how to do it. If not, well, maybe I'll just have to bite the bullet a…

Hello,I have a PFC flight yoke,its a USB version. I'm am also using FS2004. The flight yoke keeps turning the aircraft to the right, I even turned off ALL realism so see if thats the problem. I keep re-calibrating the yoke but it just last about 20 seconds and then starts pulling to the right again. I own a registered copy of FSUIPC and I'm using version 3.212.Anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix this. BTW: My operating system is Windows XP ProThanksMike

Hi All,I'm trying to get an AFCAD file going for EGHC Land's End, and am having a texture problem where, at the end of the grass runways, I'm getting textures that I don't want showing (see attached GIF). Being a relative novice at AFCAD, I'm trying to figure what I'm doing wrong. I'm thinking it has something to do with the runway link, but, no matter if I set the texture on 'grass' or 'unknown', I get the same result.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Cheers,Mike T.

I bought a new computer and installed FS9.Everything works fine except that I can not raise the Gear using the keyboard key G (letter G). Does anyone know how well this scenery works in FS2004? I expect that any AFCAD files have to be replaced but are there any other changes that need to be made? These guys do a great job.Stan V.

While I have never experienced a CTD with fs9 I am bedeviled by crashes to black screen from which the only way to recovery is to hit the reset button. These crashes seem to occur mostly when I'm panning around in spot plane view although I occasionally get them when changing cockpit views. I like to fly mostly around the alpine area of Europe for which I have installed Raymondo Taburet's Alps Mesh, I thought this may have been the problem but even with this disabled, and using the default B737 I still have the same problem, when on the ground at LOWI Innsbruck I dare not enter spot plane view at all as it always end in a crash. I downloaded your scenery hanger kit, and followed all steps in manual. But I cant seem to get the hanger to show, I've tried several times with no luck. There is one thing that may be the culprit, in the "esdghanger.asm" file, I seem to be missing a lot of stuff. I have started with this plane in the commercial lessons. One littleproblem is that you can't see the upper part of manifold pressure instruments. Some kind of shaddow hide them. What can be done? It won't help to lit the instrumentpanel light. And in reallife they sure must be able to see the whole instrument.

With the last release of AFCAD Lee Swordy (genius genius genius) indicated that he was working on adding the capability of placing scenery objects. I assume this means stuff like buildings, baggage carts, etc. Anyway, I don't see an AFCAD forum around and was wondering how this is coming along. Does any one out there know just how many "Add on Scenery" areas one can have active or installed in MSFS 2002 Pro? Is there an ajustable buffer some where in the program or one that says "so many areas are here and lets kick the rest out". Thats what seems to be happenning to me. Ill add an area and go back to the list later to see it's not there. Then if i delete some of others it will be there or I can add it again and it will stay on the list.Thanks for any info.Dizzy

Whats a PRM you ask? It is THE Canadair Pilot Reference Manual, official aircraft and systems manual put out by Canadair for use by the pilots of the CRJ-200. I am a real life CRJ700 pilot and have the CRJ200 PRM from when I went through initial training on it. I have no use for it anymore since I now have the CRJ700 PRM and thought someone in this community would like to own it. The manual is about 20 chapters long and comes in a nice grey hard cover binder embossed with the Canadair symbol. Haven't needed to go to Project AI in awhile. But since my hard drive crashed, I'm trying to recoup what I've lost.At PAI, it seems I can't download the aircraft models. Paintkits are just textures now, where the models used to be.And the PAI website gives no information on how to acquire individual models. Hi all,First, let me congrat Erick Cantu and Shawn Anderson for the awesome 737-700.I have made a lot of flights with this bird and noted that she can not follow the glide. It's fine on intercepting the localizar, but the glide is not intercepted.Anyone is having this problem too?Thanks.
