It is an alternative cloud pack for Active Sky (FS2002) that improves frame rate, getting better frame rate than with the default Fs2002 cloudsI looked for it in Avsim and in teh Active Sky site but cannot find it.ThanksLeo

Have FSGenesis mesh and landclass. Also got the revised desert/tree textures from the Avsim library. Now all I seem to do, at the moment, is take off and then slew via the map view to look at the stunning scenery that FS now has to offer around the US and other parts of the world. Then exit out of FS when thoroughly awed.I don't think I've done a proper take off - route - landing for a few weeks now!! :D Victor

i have downloaded several planes for my ms2004. all these planes work fine but everyone of them do not have a panel. the panel file/folder is in each aircraft folder. but still no panel when i choose any of these planes which i have downloaded. does anyone have a solution to this?

Does anyone know of a scenery mesh that will work with FlyTampa's KSAN? I downloaded a really nice one from avsim but the mesh covers part of the highway in the scenery. ThanksRegan

HELP! I had to reinstall my fs2004 using a dell 8300 computer with radeon 9800 card. Before doing this, I had fs2004 installed with no noticeable problems. Now, whenever i go into spot plane view, I get either blurries (which can be fixed by hitting the alt key) or (more prevalent lately since I moded the fs9.cfg file), the textures are jagged. Straight lines are jagged. Anyone know how to fix these problems? They are driving me crazy! My blurries and jagged lines seem to not be fixed with anythin. I have the latest ati drivers and direct x 9.0.Any help would be appreciated! Gary

Hi,I have a question regarding upgrading FS2002 to FS2004.I purchased FS2002 a little while ago and after reading the manual I realised there was a professional version as well. If I had known I would have got that version at the time if it were available.From reading the manual the main difference that I can see are the missing aircraft. Is this correct? Hello!I recently imported the C182RG from FS2002 Pro into FS9 using a file I found on the internet. The plane is working great with the exception that there are no visible taxi or landing lights from the cockpit view of the aircraft.However, you can see the landing lights from the outside view of the aircraft just fine.So, does anyone know how to add visible landing lights to imported aircraft?It is just a little bit dark taxiing around the airport in the C182RG!Thanks,Scott :-)ATP/CFII - KCOS, in the real aviation world.

Not sure I have a problem but would like to pose a question. Have worked with FS98 thru FS2002. Installed FS2004 and all works well until I create a flight plan and attempt to print it. I create it, click "Print" and nothing happens??? Can't figure out why or what I have to do to make it happen. I also have FS2002 installed. Could that affect performance? Has anyone run in to this problem? Would sure appreciate hearing from you if you have. Running 2000XP Pro with a 128mb video card. 512 Ram. Can print out flight plans on FS2002 with no problem. Maybe one interferes with the other??? Help!!

I recently had to reinstall MSFS 2004, and although ny frame rates are generally 25-30 FPS, the program will stutter, and FPS will drop down to 2-3 fps for no reason, even if the plane is standing still. My specs are:Athlon 2400+512 RAMNVidia GeForece FX 5200 graphics cardI don't know what the problem is...I downloaded the latest drivers and the card seems to be working, i just can't explain the stuttering. I am a private pilot, and besides for moderate turbulance, I don't remember the plane ever stuttering! Can anyone help?Thanks, Pilot Pete

Dear all,I'm happily flying in FS2004 when I experienced atc.dll error again. Several posts has suggested that this might be the seasonal CTD bugs, and therefore I installed Joachim patch several weeks ago. Today, I tried to fly into the area where I experienced this error. And gues what..... I still get that atc.dll error (I was descending to SVMI - I also regularly experienced atc.dll error when descending to RJCC). So, I guess the Joachim patch is not 100% working.I also tried flying with AI Traffic set to 0%, still that problem occurs! This thing is getting more and more anoying X( X(Regards,J. Since I don't know if "round flight" is actually the term for the subject about which I am up to ask, I might better describe what I was planning to do ;-) . I built a nice FSNav flight plan from Auckland via McMurdo Field in Antarctica (no landing there, of course) in an attempt to recreate one of those sightseeing flights ANZ used to do until they lost a DC-10 in a crash at Mount Erebus. This flight was to begin and terminate at Auckland. Obviously, I filed this flight plan as IFR, but my suspicions that FS's ATC might not like this sort of flight plan were confirmed. This is something that has been bugging me. I have the time set to system clock, but half the time when I open the sim, it's set to some other time. It's like FS uses my system time as GMT.Is there any freaking way to fix this? I would like FS to use my system time and time zone, and match up where I am flying. So if it's 5:00 ET, it's actually 5 ET in the game! And if I transport to San Francisco, it would be 2:00 in the game.

I've had this annoying problem for ever. Sometimes, for no reason that I could find, the zoom in and out wouldn't work in spot view. If I switched to the 2D cockpit view and back it would then work fine. No biggie, but I hate seemingly intermittent glitches that you can't figure out. Makes you wonder what else is "glitching." Well, I found it. If I'm in spot mode, and hit the ~ key to talk to ATC, that's what does it. Zoom works fine until I hit the ~ key, then it stops. I have to switch to 2D and back again. Like I said, no biggie, but it's nice to know what does it...billg

Anyone know of a good airport to fly into in FS that has good default scenery or good freeware scenery for it? One with a tricky approach and or good scenery around it. Thanks.Adam

I had been using FS2004 for several months when suddenly when I tried to open it the program froze at the first screen. Thought I had a bad nr4 disk and was able to get another. Still didn't solve problem. Unstalled program and reinstalled-same problem again. Contacted Microsoft techie and went thru all steps including check to seen that my computer met all requirements for program which it did. Unable to get any further help from them. Tried uninstall and reinstall again with same results. Installation was done with antivirus software disabled etc.Any ideas on where I go next ?

Is there a tutorial or can anybody explain airplane repainting procedures? I just downloaded a repaint for the Eaglesoft Citation X but with no instructions I'm at a loss. Help!Jim

Myself and others have been in somewhat of a desperate search for the Dremafleet B737 + FS2004 Merge package. I understand a merge has been developed by Peter McLeland, however it looks like it is very difficult to obtain. Seeings how I can't access the Eagle soft forum, I'll post here. I just need help on a couple different issues. I've read the manual but I still can't find all the aircraft light switches. Another thing, I can barley read the switches in both 2d and 3d cockpits. Any way to fix that? Maybe a different driver? Any help would be great, this is an excellent product, takes a bit of learning, but is a blast when you figure it out. Thanks.
