Need help !!It seems that I lost the BGL's that have the navs, ILS, frequencies for a section of the Middle East, such as LLBG, LLJR, and OJAI.Could somebody please tell me the names and the location of the files that contain this information?Thanks.Abe

I've got a little problem with my AI traffic. Maybe someone can help? I've got about 30,000 flight plans loaded into FS9 and they all work fine except that they are all in local time and not GMT (Zulu Time)which they need to be in order for them to be accurate. Does anyone know if there is a way to convert all of my traffic files into GMT without doing them one at a time which would take forever? Thanks for the help.Eric

Has anybody seen any numbers or impressions of display quality for the new generation cards in Flight Sim yet? I am never sure which of the standard benchmarks & games that reviewers use actually mean anything here.

I'm just curious with the volume settings. Okay is there a way to set the volume settings for headset wearers out there to reflect that you are sitting inside the airplane with your headset on. I've seen some noise cancelling headphones out there (not sure if they have headsets like that aswell?). Back to the topic. Given the engine distance from the cockpit and the amount of 'Soundproofing' a cockpit could already have. What would be the appropriate volume settings in the sim to reflect this? Would there be different settings for each aircraft type? Lastly is there a way to make these settings part of the aircraft/sound config file?This could be something to be added to …

If you have My Traffic 2004, v1.0 and it is already installed all you have toi do is go to:www.fsrail.com/MT2004U20a.zipand download this "update file" (MT2004V20UPDATE.exe).I had bought the update (vr 2.0 for 9 EURO) from SIMMARKET and downloaded 3 differant files, but none of the three files were used to make the actual update from vr 1.0 to vr 2.0. ???There is a password that is needed to "unlock" the update file from fsrail.com, but I cann't remember where I got it, sorry. HiI generally fly the PMDG 737NG but recently received a trial flying lesson from my wife as a birthday present. The lesson will be in either a Piper Cherokee or Piper Arrow.As i don't know much about GA's available for FS2004, i was wandering if anyone could recommend a good freeware model of either of the above that has an accurate flight-model and semi-decent virtual cockpit so that i can get some practice in before the lesson !!!RegardsGary

I think it helps.Here are two shots. Both over the Teton National Park. One with unlimited visibility and the other with 30 mile visibility. I think the reduced visibility helps to soften the colours and (to me at least) gives a more pleasing appearence. Recenly I have been crashing upon trying to land about 70 % of the time. All is well comming down on ILS until about 200 to 1000 feet when, without warning a very strong downdraft (wind shear?) slams me into the ground. After sitting in my chair for a 1-2 hour flight this is NOT the way I want to end the flight... ruins my whole day. I'm flying the 737-700 with ACTIVESKY 2004 AND FSUIPC engauged. I think this started when I begain using Active Sky 2004. Is there an "ajustment" in FSUIPC (or Active Sky) that will stop these very strong winds? A small mixup resulted in a couple incorrect files for a short time in the previous version (hric.zip). It is my fault since I kept screwing around with the guys in the library until we had two different sets of files riding on the server with the same name. Some folks have the correct version and a handful got the older files.If you were kind enough to give my scenery a try: Check inside folder "FS9 Default Mesh" for bgl files "hricz.bgl" and "hricz_A16N.bgl". They should be dated 4/28/2004. If you have the earlier dated versions then you will want to download this fixed version. I am new to the Avsim Forums, but I have been to the site many times, and it is a great one. My problem is, in FS9, while flying in Alaska, all of a sudden I have a reload. That includes, scenery, weather, terrain, traffic, and weather, as well as the time. It will either go forward in time or go back, no rhyem or reason. At first I thought maybe it was a time zone change, but Alaska is all in one zone, and, it does NOT happen in the lower 48 states. I have tested many things to try and figure it out, a download of scenery and such, but I have not done any downloads for Alaska. I've noticed that a lot of small corporate jets don't have a turn coordinator. A good example is the Eaglesoft Beechjet. How are you supposed to make a coordinated turn without this instrument?
