Hi allI hope someone can help me with this problem, In FS9 I cannot see the wheels or the propeller on my DC-4 aircraft. I have one DC-4 folder with four textures added, eg: "British Eagle, American Overseas Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Dan-Air London"I copied these aircraft over from FS2002 into FS9.everything else is ok.I hope someone can steer me in the correct direction to fix this problem or tell me where to get the correct files to fix this problem.Thanks in advance.Mac

I've had a lot of CTDs' and black screens lately. I found this suspicious looking file in the FS9 root directory. I renamed it and have flown a few times since with on CTDs'.The file:RECTMFLT..WXDoes it really mean: Wrecked My Flight?Or does anyone know what it does?Alan

Anyone know an alternative to this database? It seems there was another one, that filled in the blanks to routes that this one has missing. I seem to be having a "senior moment" trying to recall it and a Google search came up empty. John

There was a great utility for Fly! which allowed you to record (phonetically) your own voice for ATC replies. It certainly added to the realism. Is there one for FS2004?The default voices all sound a bit American to me (no disrespect intended to you people on the other side of the pond, of course!)Alan

Possibly a stupid question but I really wonder what this instrument is (see attached picture. I assume that it has to do with turn coordination or so. I never have seen it moving/animated.

Since deleting my fs9.cfg file to help with PMDG crashes, to desktop that is, most of the changes I make with the sliders are not retained and are reset to the default settings every time I start FS9. This is pretty tedious. If I manually edit the file the settings are retained but I only know the values for a few settings. Most of my display choices are lost apart from the actual resolution, the realism settings too.Any ideas folks?John

HI all..I'm a resident of the SS forum, but I had to get a new video card today, my old GF3 kicked the bucket, so I got a GF FX 5700LE. I would like to know if there is a way to re-center the start screen which has migrated up and to the left of my desktop? Is there something in the FS9.cfg file for that?No doubt about it...Ronson2k

Help !!!I have a copy of the above program for MSFS 2000.I am now on FS 2002 - it does work to a fashion however should you press one of the cockpit buttons - it crashes......The model of the B757 is near perfect but was wondering, as the company who built the product is now no longer, if anyone knows of a company that has patches for this to work in FS 2004??In anticipation....:) :)

Since a few days I'm the owner of Switzerland Professional 2004. Using the freeware small Swiss-airfields (f.e. Mollis, Sion) there is an eleveationproblem. The airfields are placed about 6 feet higher then the SP mesh. I wonder if there is something to do about this? Can I place the airports in the right altitude? And will it affect AI traffic?IN Sion I saw planes (and also my own) flying 6 feet above the field without enignes. Herman Leusman

Ken -I would have emailed this to you, but I didn't see your email in the FS Autostart documentation...I have a couple of suggestions to really make FSAS really great:1) Move the default fsautostart.ini out of the Windows directory. In general I prefer to not have any applications with write privilages there.2) In the past, I used an autostart application much like yours(I forget the name...), and it had a nifty feature that inhibited applications of your choice from being executed until there was a FSUIPC connection available. This would be nice for starting applications that will crash if there is no FSUIPC connection...for me to emulate this feature now I have applic…

Hi.I have been getting the un specified warning,do you want FS to blah, blah, the last few days now. I have the ''frame no cal warning'' file installed in my FS9 .cfg at the end. but I still keep getting this now and then,any ideas guy's.I also have the folder with all the planes installed in my ''aircraft folder'' in FS9 from S/Box, so I know it's not because I don't have them to display in the first place.thanks in advanceSteve.

OK, UK. There's the LAGO mesh if you've got a few bucks. There's Raimondo Taburet's mesh. There's 'Lightmesh'. There's Pietro Mauri's mesh. There's Eddie Denney's mesh. There's Justin Tyme's FSGenesis mesh. And now, there's Andy's mesh (who's Andy?!) in three parts for the UK.One, why is everybody doing the same thing, as many are based on similar data. Two, which is the best, please, someone who knows?My own cut on this to date is that the FSGenesis and the latest mesh by 'Andy' look best in areas I know well; but I'd appreciate any other input on this.There's certainly a lot of choice.
