Hi,Has anyone else had problems installing this scenery? I have just e-mailed the following to support in the hope of some clarification:"I have purchased and downloaded Wonderful Rio from simMarket.com. Could you confirm that 2 files should be downloaded:WS-wr2004.exe (48,829KB)WS-wr2004.2 (42,135KB)I ran the executable 'WS-wr2004.exe' and it appeared to autodetect the FS9 folder and complete successfully. Is the second file 'WS-wr2004.2' used by the first during the installation, or should it also be an executable file and run separately?"There is no entry in scenery.cfg of FS2004 and after much searching I found a folder for 'wonderful rio' under Brazil in the Flight S…

After installing Ultimate traffic, all the afcads are placed in the addon sceneryscenery folder, but many addon sceneries have their own afcad files in their own scenery folder. Which afcads are given priority and should i replace the UT afcad files with the addon afcads(commercial)by overwriting the UT ones and deleting the afcads from the commercial scenery folders? Paul.

just bought Heathrow Pro and have two questions 1. In the scenery cfg file there is this [Area.150]Title=UK2000 AFCAD2 Files HIGH LEVELLocal=UK2000 SCENERYaf2_highActive = Truelayer=40 Is this for the AFCAD file that came with the scenery? I want to use the Project AI AFCAD so if this is for the AFCAD can I just delete this entery then put in the Project AI AFCAD? 2. What does the TCompiler.exe and the DCompiler.exe do?

I need to make a flatten switch for KOKC. I have some mesh installed and there's grass coming out of the runway's. How do I figure out what to put in the scenery.cfg? I've looked at my simflyer scenery, but am at a loss what to put.

I've been away from FS for a couple years and would like to get back in. I've got a new blazingly fast system that I would like to put to use on the newest version of FS. I'm interested in purchasing a few quality add-ons and am overwhelmed with the enormous amount of options. I've been reading reviews on this site and elsewhere, but still find it difficult to narrow my choices - just too many - a good thing I suppose. Hello all, this is my first time to the forum. I recently joined VATSIM, and everything is working properly, accecpt i am always kicked off of flight simulator about ten minutes into my flight. Windows says that an error having to do with MSFS modules occured. I have FSUICP in the modules, and squawkbox is registered with fsuicp. However this problem occurs every time. I have flight simulator 2000 professional addition, and have windows xp. I can't think of anything that could be wrong. Hope to hear from ya. Thanks!

I made a real flight from KONT to KATL (and back) on America West. AWA's fleet consists mostly of Airbus A319/20s. I noticed a rather liberal use of speed brake and that with flaps deployed, on final. I was surprised. I know Boeing 737s do not use spoilers with flaps. John R. FranklinVictorville, CA

I was thinking of purchasing the Reality Garmin Flight Line 530XP GPS Simulator for installing it in my various FS9 Aircrafts, until I saw the Systems requirements.It says.. It require Windows XP. But I have windows 2000. Has anyone used this on a Windows 2000? Have you encountered any problems. Please let me know.Thanks.Manny

I just added a second hard drive to my system (actually it's a third, because my primary is two HDDs in Raid-0).Anyway, I'm wondering if it would benefit FS2004 performance to move some or all of the Addon Scenery to the second hard drive? I have quite a bit, both payware and freeware.If this would benefit performance significantly, how would you go about doing it without removing each one individually then adding it again. Is there a simple way to use "replace" in notepad to make things easier?Just a thought.Thanks

Hello!Did you know that if you are using Notron Antivirus or Macafee Viruscan that they are continously running in the background even if you have disabled them?As long as they are installed, they can still impact the performance of MSFS.Even after disabling NAV2003, I was still getting the dreaded "short-pause" every 5 seconds or so when flying both FS2002 and FS9.So I un-installed ALL my antivirus software (including NAV auto-update and registration which are installed seperately by NAV2003).After doing this, NO MORE PAUSES in FS9 or FS2002.Of course using no antivirus protection is very risky, so after doing some research, I found a solution...There is a FREE antivirus…

Hi guys,I havn't been around a lot lately. Was too busy with the conversion of my cockpit to FS9. The right monitor is a touchscreen, which is so cool. You have most of the avionics functions literally at your fingertips. and you don't have to worry about developers doing stuff outsde FS as you can directly work the panel. To switch the functions of the Reality-XP stuff by touching the actual "buttons" is so great.After month of tweaking I finally have a lot of fun with FS9.Cheers,AlexP.S.: I hope this post works now. Hi AllI am looking to download an older version of FSUIPC I presently have the newest Addition FSUIPC 3.212 21Apr.04 but attempting to eliminate a problem with Radar Contact locking up, by installing an older version.I have downloaded an older version from Avsim File Library, but when I open it up it is the latest version.Any assistance would be appreciated.Kenny G.

I feel sorry for the many fans of Emma Field. I was on the Lago site tonight and noticed the release date for the 2004 version of this scenery to be '12/5/2004'... :-hangGuys, there no excuse for crap like this... Lago is going to make everyone wait until almost Christmas of this year to release an update to a small GA airfield. Of all the many International airports that have been updated from 2002 to 2004, this is ridicules.Since the restructuring of this company, things have really gotten out of had over at Lago. I doubt if I'll ever count on anything from then anymore...

Anyone try this package? The 2D panels look decent but it doesn't say if they include VCs or if they are GMax. I've been burned way too many times and this one isn't cheap! ThanksDavid

Hello,I am having a strange problem, probably its something regarding to my videocard. Anyways, when I switch to full screen mode and then in full screen want to open the FS menus, I have to first click ALT key to see them. I click ALT, I can see the menu nicely but I have to wait like 5 secs until I can surf around there, for 5 secs after ALT pressing FS is like hanged and nothing can be done. Then I set whatever I want via menus, for example go to Display and then press ok, again, hangs for 5 secs and then I can continue flying. It also happens when opening FSNavigator or closing it.
