I am a proud owner of the PMDG 737NG series and all I can say is WOW! Its worth every last cent! I've noticed many NON-PMDG NG customers whinging about the prices! and don't be fooled buy there whinging! They have no idea kinda what quality there missing out on! If your thinking about buying it then do! You will nor regret such a value packed addon! Nothing out there today even comes halfway to the PMDG737 quality.You will notice one thing about these price whinges. And that is there non customers! I have seen quite a few speculations lately that people in some of the forums think that "Century of Flight" marks the end of the Microsoft tradition of every 2 or so years a new one comes out. I have also read that when fs2002 was out that the same thing was going around about if we are going to have fs2004 or not. I just don't think this traditon will stop. MSFS is probably creating fs2006 and 2008, 2010 and so on. It takes time to create a project like this and it has only been not quite a year yet since fs9 was put out into the market. It has been about 8 months. So if my math is right 2 years is 24 months, that is only 1/3 has only passed us by yet. I would exp…

I know. I didn't believe it. After 6 computers, my best one to date crashes and burns in 2 years. To anyone flying any RealAir simulations wonderful aircraft, here's a tip I discovered by accident.They say in their manuals that, if you reduce the VC cockpit guage quality from "High" to standard, it can help with stutters. I've got a pretty high end machine, and only occasionaly get some lack of smoothness in steep turns (with FPS locked at 30). I decided to take the VC guages down a notch just to see what it looks like, in both the Marchetti and Scout (do this in the "aircraft quality" settings within FS).Well, not only did it eliminate all lack of smoothness in flight (and I imagine people with slower machines will benefit more here) but I also think the "lower res" …

I am looking into buying some new airport scenery and I am torn between the two.I definately like the FlyTampa San Diego Scenery but I also like the Las Vegas Scenery from Simflyers. In addition, if I go with Simflyers I can get 2 sceneries for only about $5-$7 more then just one FLyTampa Scenery.Any opinions on the two?? Pro, COns, thoughts..?Thx!!:)

My contrails are screwed up, for some reason a second set of contrails points down from the acutal contrails towards the earth. Hard to explain but is there anyway to turn them off completely?

Is there a force feedback regarding Air turbulence, Cloud bumps? you know, the one you feel during passing thru a cloud, or clear air turbulence...Is there any addon for this feedbacks?

I'm confused on how to use this. All I want to do is install my simflyer's CYYZ in FS2004. There is an updated AI parking file for Project AI. What do I do?When I load AFCAD, and click "Open Airport" the Simflyers scenery is not listed. When I browse to the simflyers directory there are many .bgl files, but it won't open any of them. I opened the updated file from Project AI with AFCAD, but the parking spots look wrong. Can anyone tell me what to do?

First of all thanks for taking a look at this post.. For some reason when I use real worl weather (updates) I get a good 50% reduction in framerate from using the static Real world weather, also my connection seems to fail 3 or 4 times on a typical 1 and a half hour flight, it never fails if I'm not using FS2004.It's really annoying, especially when I have been on finals, and just as I start to flare FS2004 will pause and switch me to my connection screen askin if I want to re-connect! HELP!!!Regards,

I looked in the docs but I didn't see this..When GA-Traffic generates a cross-country flight (meaning not one that taxi's out, does touch and goes and then lands all at the same airport)...Does that flight observe the East/West; Odd/Even altitude separation criteria??BobL

Hi All,now that I have set my visibility to 30nm and turned the autogen down to sparse, I can afford to use some better looking clouds,I am currently running the cloud set by Chris Willis from the FSW site, but they,after all are for FPS improvements,and although they do look good,I feel that they can at times be weird,or have a strange look depending on the type displayed by the weather in SB when connected to VATSIM,see attached shot,so I was thinking about going back to the default FS9 clouds now that I have the sim set up better etc, can anyone please tell me what disc No they are on, and in what file.thanks in advance for any help,Stevehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_fi…

Hi All.I was up late, I wasn't feeling very tired,and the UK controllers had all gone to bed.so I thought hmmmm, lets have a look over the pond and see whats going on, well I did a flight from KLAX to San Jose intnl, approx 260nm trip, and it went great,after getting my clearance twice that is, I struggled a bit at first because I had been so used to the UK dialogue and way of doing things that it was slightly different when connected to the USA, but I had a great time,and the guy's were great too.I would highly recommend others to do it more often, and I didn't see or hear a single other Speed Bird whilst I was on line either, they must all have been in bed (*;*)C YaStev…

I know I have to post this in Vatsim forum, so I did, but I wanted to post here too since there are more eyes looking at this forum. If anybody feels upset because of this please accept my apologies, but please understand I am a kind of desperate.Yesterday I was going to do another flight and I seemed not to get connected to Vatsim. Since then I have tried several times and it keeps on happening the same.This is quite odd, since I did everything I always do since I must have flown more than 30 times using Vatsim. When I connect to Vatsim I get the blue message in Squawkbox saying I am connected, but i never appear in Servinfo (maps, pilots connected or anything), although…

I always get VFR ATC when I fly unless I create a flight plan in FS and tell it to be IFR...Is there a way where I can have IFR ATC at all times on all my flights automatically??Thx!

Hi there, sorry about the presumed newb question, but I can't for the life of me figure out where to get the file d6skyb42.zip. I've been looking through at the different planes you can download to fly in FS2004, and I'm really looking forward to trying a couple out. However, most of them say that you need this file in order for the plane to work in FS2004.I've searched in the forum, other similar sites, on Google, and other download sites and still can't find it.Can someone point me in the right direction, and perhaps even give me a few starter/heads-up pointers on getting started with downloading some of these new planes? Thanks guys
