I'm having problems with the auto pilot altitude hold function and need some help. On any given flight, the altitude hold will stop holding the programmed altitude after a while. Some flights it may work for 5 minutes and others it may work fine for 15 to 20 minutes. But it will always fail, resulting in the aircraft going into a steep climb. I can usually shut down the auto pilot, get the aircraft back under control and trimmed and then reset the auto pilot alt hold and it will work again for a while. Does waterclass add new rivers, lakes and change coast lines? Or does it just add new textures to the existing default water?I have this scenery that came with waterclass but I don't really want to install it if the file will add new textures to my water. I already use waterzone.zip for my water textures and don't want to change that.

Does AITM work with COF? If it does how do you get it to work. It keeps looking for airport.txt and also getting info from my FS2002 sim.

Hi All,Since getting a new computer with Windows XP Home Edition, I have been getting CTD's (Crash to Desktop) but only when I load up certain aircraft that are from FS98 days. This happens in FS2000 and FS2002. Haven't tried FS2004 yet with these planes, which are only TWO, but these two are my all time favorite jets. My aircraft loads up ok, but when I click on the upper Menu tool bar, BANG! the sim locks up and after 10 seconds or so I get the message, "Program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down." I get pretty good frames in the cockpit of the CS727 on the ground, 15-19, and in the air around 17-25, but my gauges are very laggy, especialy the altimeter, and radio altimeter and the HSI, and also the PFD, the airspeed indicator is not as bad. does anyone know how to make them more smooth, or is this how actual steam gauges work? thanks.adam

Hey folks, I need to merge all my ~500 flightplans and aircraft files into one, because I have trouble loading FS. I could do it with TTCompanion, the problem is: all my flightplans start with AC#1, so I have ~500 different AC#1 then. Anyone knows a solution?

Does anyone know how to adjust how much the 'pilot's seat' is raised or lowered using the 'move eyepoint up/down' command? I often find that the ideal view setting in the 2D panel lies between two raise/lower seat 'notches.'Regards,Andre

Hello, this question pertains to simtrack, the inflight chart viewer not simview the standalone. I am interested in purchasing Simcharts by Jepp. I have one small problem with the Simtrack window as its very small and there seems to be no way of zooming in the chart with the exception of the toggle view mode (which only shows the graphic part of the chart). Is there anyway I can zoom in the chart in simtrack? (not simview) If not, does anyone know of a way to run simview as a module, so I could view the charts full screen, and have full zoom capabilities? Robert Williamson

Hi,The aircraft seems to be way too heavy in the nose.Tried changing the load stations inside FS9, then FS crashes when pressing Ok in the Fuel Payload Box.Ok, I could change it aircraft.cfg, but have no data for the stations, but the origin which seems wrong.Anyone else having the same problem?Lago

Is the Madeira scenery that is being sold at Aerosoft's downloadshop the same scenery as PTSIM's Madeira scenery? They look the same to me, but I just want to be certain.

Hi,I have a strange experience as soon as I switch on AI traffic for some add-on airports: the screen turns black, the PC processor runs for a minute or so, and then FS9 crashes. This happens at the German Airport add-ons for EDDM, EDDH and the KLGA add-on. I do not have that problem at any other add-on airport (about 40 of them).What could be the cause?? Hello, im new here on this forum. Been playin around with FS for quite a while, im pretty competent with computers, ive managed to install new aircraft, ai , scenery, etc. Ive been reading alot about people having problems with crashing to desktop (CTD) Well lately my computer has been just flat out crashing while playing flightsim. It used to work great but for the last few weeks everytime i go flyin, the computer just shuts off and reboots. I've done virus scans, i keep my antivirus off while playing, i have ad aware and use it regularly, ive turned down graphic settings, downloaded updated drivers for my video card. I quess the basic question is what makes an aircraft or ship AI useable? I have built a car ferry ship which will appear as an aircraft (right in the middle of an airport) but if I attempt to use it in AI as a ship, it becomes very shy and stealthy and will not show up. Other ships act normal and on schedule. Am I missing something? Does something have to be done the the MDL file to make it an AI vehicle? I might add that my time is usually spent in scenery, not aircraft; so excuse me if this is a fundamental / dumb question. Al
