Hello Pilots.I have been trying to download ifdg_767-200_american.zip from the library but it is impossible, the library seems to continue having some problems. This file carries the iFDG 767-200 American Airlines . If anybody has this file, I beg you to email it to me to [email protected], if you do so, you will have saved my weekend afternoon flight. Thanks a million !!Juliet Lima

Afternoon All,I have for some time been searching for a way to correct regional carrier call signs from the way we currently do them, i.e:ASADelta Connection calls and answers as "Candler 4530" because that's the way we enter the flight number in the TT flight plan and that is the flight number within the Delta system. But, in real life they would radio call as "Candler 530."I know, small item but in my quest for perfection I have wanted for some time to correct this. I tried to make the change myself, but it just got tedious. So, I enlisted the help of my son, a rising junior in Computer Programming at the Univ. of Central Flofida, to write a small program for me to make…

Hi All,The "sky" in FS2002 is blue from the top of the screen down to the horizon. Is there ANY WAY to fix this? (besides using FS2004). OR, can the older FS Clouds program be used in FS2002? Any help would be appreciated. FS2000 and 2004 sky has a graduated sky effect, but FS2002 appears to be a SOLID BLUE. Thanks for any feedback.Al Whitney - Bacal Aircraft Lab

Is the MSFS GARMIN supposed to load the Nav 1 frequency of the destination ILS runway once you have selected or activated it in your GARMIN flightplan? It doesn't seem to load it in the active or standby frequency of the MSFS radios and I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. (I fly in GPS mode and then switch to NAV for the ILS arrival, but have to load the Nav 1 frequency manually.)Appreciate advice, thanks!JS

Hi,I have flown a real J3 Cub and it is a kinda puppy dog on takeoff as long as you feed in a little right rudder and hod the tail down initially until time for & speed for tail comimg up. The one in FS2004 goes wild on takeoff roll with big groundloop tendencies regardless of attitude trys. (I get stall warnings even if I hold the attitude right.) Other prop tail draggers act much better including even the Extra 300 and an inported P51 and a Scout. I have realisim set high and all the others behave except the cub. What parameters can I set in its config file to make it right? I played with P-factor and torque settings in realisim. I hate to set realisim to way easy …

Is there a way to do it? Because I noticed that without AA and AF, in lots of clouds, my FPS stay around 30, locked at 35. And when I push AA and AF to max I get like 10 FPS. With the scenery and everything else it's another story. And what's the best, there's no visual difference on the clouds when AA'ed and AF'ed.I wouldn't think that this is possible, but hey, if someone knows the way, please share! :)Thanks!

Anybody tried Tims new T-33 in the library? I downloaded it and took it for a spin. Pretty nice little bird! Only thing is that I question the FDE handling. It wallows in a roll at any airspeed and Seems sloppy in handling. Were these birds really like that? I would've expected something a bit snappier. (No T-38 I know, but something smooth and "trainer like".) Maybe its those tip tanks... If they are full, I could see them making the roll enertia be a bit heavy.Eric

I have a 3rd Party Dornier 328-100 turboprop which I like very much - except for its excessive taxi speed. Surely there must be a tweak to reduce taxispeed in the FS9 aircraft????? Probably somewhere in the aircraft.cfg file............Can anyone help?I also downloaded a utility called "Taxi Speed" which refuses to run - it gives a Runtime Error 76 - path not found error which I cannot figgure out.HEC

I have just started playing around with Kirk Olsen's F16 Viper with the Eric Marciano panel. I have been feeling a bit jaded with flying commercial a/c lately - and am finding this to be quite a new experience. 6000 FPM climbs, etc! I do recommend this combination to others!!BUT -- it only comes with an absolute minimum of documentation. Does anybody know of a "tutorial" to guide one through how to land this a/c -- even one that comes remotely close to allowing me to crash land somewhere near the runway would be fine! :) Right now, trying to slow down from 650 knots while trying to pick up ILS beams is proving to be a challenge!! :) Maybe that is why they don't take 57 y…

Guys, not a usual posting, but I know a lot of you are wizards, so here goes...Many years ago, I'm not sure of the date, a UAL 747 was diverted to land at Wellington, New Zealand (NZWN). This is interesting, as Wellington's runway is not long enough for 747 ops, and only handles 747's in emergencies.I've put various permutations of this into Google, and are unable to find anything that gives me a detailed review of how and why this happened (I'm not too interested in pictures, but it would be a bonus if included). So you very resourceful people, can anyone find me a URL link to sites that would give a report on this event? I'm sure there's a few PC/Internet gurus out there…

I just for S&G checked the size of my FS9 Folder. Let me say, it would take 10 DVDs to back it up! 44.6 GB of data...Let's here some other sizes.

But...has anybody checked out the new B737-700 next to some of the AI 737's in the sim? Eric Cantus new (absolutely beautiful!) bird looks a little large next to the AI birds. Particularly the PAI AI, but It also looks big next to FSP 747's. The 74's are larger, but not as much as they normally look next to a 737, especially when comparing window sizes. I first noticed this taxiing the Aeromexico bird at KLAX where theres an abundance of AI airplanes. Im unaware of dimensions here, but it would seem that the scale seems just a little "off" one way or the other. Either the AI is all too small, or the new 737 is too big. (or I need to get better glasses!)Eric Join…

On my new computer I suspect a problem has been introduced by FSNav. When I now fly using FSNav the acft will fly with a wing down attitude of at least a few degrees. When FSNav is then disengaged the acft will roll off to one wing and I have to "fiddle" with the aileron trim (Ctrl+NP4 or NP6) to get the acft trimmed back to a stable, wings level condition. Prior to engagement of FSNav there are no stability problems. When not using FSNav there is absolutely no problems with acft stability. Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this problem and/or how to correct it?JoeTDell Dimension 8300P4, 3 GHZ 800 MHZ FSB w/HTT1 GIG DDR SDram @ 40 MHZNividia 128MB DDR GeF FX52…

I've done it in a King Air C90 (back in FS98). I know a lot of us have done this, so in what aircraft did you accomplish this feat?It would be nice to see only 1 post per aircraft to get a better look at what people have used.Might be an interesting discusssion?cheers!

I decided to get one of the RealAir Simulations aircraft for some hands-on flying. I noticed that you can get the Scout at a reduced price if you already have the Decathlon.I know I want the Scout (I do some bush flying) but I was also thinking about getting an aerobatic type of plane.Would it be a good idea to get the Decathlon and Scout at the reduced price? I'm not sure about this because the planes look so similar and there's always the freeware Decathlons. Are the Scout and Decathlon different enough to justify buying both?I've been looking at the SF260 for a long time but never got myself to buying it. It looks like a lot of fun though.-How good is it for short-fiel…

I'm having some problems with this add-on and I don't (for the life of me) know why. Everytime I load the aircraft in the "select an aircraft" section of the simulation, I get several "Error-FS9" messages popping up on my screen. The message is as follows:---------------------------------------------------------------------"Flight simulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled."It then tells me the file."File: GAUGES154_B2S.GAU""File: GAUGES154_B2copilot.GAU"---------------------------------------------------------------------The aircraft then loads properly. When you hit "fl…

OK, this was great news!!! I've wanted this plane forever, but hate the idea of having it shipped. So today upon visiting AVSIM, I see there is a new version available for download!!! Fantastic! Go to order, get to the "Shipping Method" and only see shipping options with no DOWNLOAD option.....Did I do something wrong?

Is the Best!Due to PC problems I had, I lost all my original paswords, installer and order information for My Decathlon. Rob Young must be half bald now getting me straightened out. But in only a day he did. Not only are the planes from Real Air Simulations Some of the best planes I have in flight sim, but the Customer support is truely outstanding. Thanks Rob, and everyone at RealAir

There are tons of people that have flown around the world with FS.. Now I want to do it, but are a bit lazy to do all the route planning,... Is there anyone that has all the routes planned out, and have all the VOR/ILS/ADF Frequencies for all the airports that they flew to...Thanks in advance
