Hi all! I am currently doing my training at KBFM (Brookley) in Mobile, AL.In MSFS, only one runway (14-32) is open. The other runway (18-36) was closed.That runway is now officially open.Can someone with some AFCAD skills make a modification to open this runway in MSFS?I would be most appreciative.Thanks,

I got some cabin announcements, & I was wondering how I could either make it so that they automatically come on, or if I could make a gauge like a simicon to click to make it play. Or is there anyone who would do that for me if I emailed the files (tell me which ones if that's the case)?:)Thanks.

Dan from flightsin.com has done a great repaint of the Flightcraft A-340 in Iberia livery, but he is not being able to upload the file since the paint kit says authorization is needed, and the Flightcraft site is down.Does anyone how to contact these guys? Thanks,Leo

Everytime I go to SSW's site I get a 'Page Cannot be displayed' message. Have they moved their site or has something else happened???

VFR approach to a major airport in a Cessna. I'm cleared to land number one straight in. Nice steady approach at 70knots and then an airliner passes underneath me and lands! Then another jet following closely behind is given a go-around. Is this a normal failing of simulated ATC, or can I do something to stop it happening?Thanks

Hi guys,I hope to get some FSP experts here to answer my question:-The FSP A330-300 take off roll is kind of too , compare to FSP777 , FSP A340 or even AIA 747. This resulted that the FSPA330-300 run out of runway before it can take off in those meduim lenghth rnuway.I supposed I had updated the fde from fspainter side. Hi I just purchased Realscene 2004 and everything works good except I get land masses on bodies of water that aren't supposed to be there. Here are a couple of screenshots to show what I mean. Aaaaaargh!I was just enjoying flying the new Fouga Magister when I noticed that when changing views from 2D or 3D cockpit to SPOT view, I would sometimes lose all my ground textures.I have some 180 aircraft in my hanger and I couldn't believe it at first so I tried other aircraft.....no problem.Suspected the panel so I changed it to an alias of the Lear45. The problem remained.Has anyone else experienced this problem with the Fouga?Such a pity as it is a superb freeware add-on.

Hello,In the attached JPEG see the seam problem.I am using the Parhelia with tree monitors at a resolution of 3064 x 768. I am using Chris Willis cloud images.Is this due to the resolution or Weather Settings?FS Settings:WeatherSight Distance: 60 miCloud Draw Distance: 30 mi3D Percentage: 20 %Cloud Coverage Denisty Medium.There are the recommended settings for the Parhelia because of the extended view. I am getting pretty good performance with the above weather settings.Any Ideas?

HiCouple of weather-related questionsI've been using real-world weather and find that quite often after 15 mins or so (perhaps when it updates, possibly at certain altitudes) I get a bad fog that doesn't fit with the current weather conditions. I am flying in the UK so overcast is standard stuff but the fog doesn't seem right -- it appears when the weather is Scattered Clouds for example. I don't think its just a reduced visibility -- its not there when I take off, once it appears it goes right to the ground, and the fog can be so bad to make it IFR conditions. My system's a bit slow -- P4 1.7, 512mb, Radeon 9600 but settings are reduced to take account of this.Anyone g…

On the Simflyers web site they announced they will be updating all of the old airport sceneries they made. (like ATL, PHL, DFW, and MCO ect)This is good news, I never did buy the old Simflyers scenery because it looked outdated. Hi!I've been reading about the Sirrus SR22 prop single and have to say I am more than impressed! The construction, speed, fuel efficiency, and full glass cockpit Avidine avionics suite look sweeeeet!!!!Just thought I'd mention that this plane would go down quite well if it were to be modelled for FS2004. That being the case, how 'bout someone trying these on...1) What's with the "circle to land" nonsense when I try to change the assigned runway. Can it be fixed ?2) Why does the system place my aircraft at one end of the runway and then make me taxi to the other end to take off. Some weeks ago, someone contacted me on MSN stating that he had a CH Yoke and Pedals for sale and that he got my email address off of Avsim. We spoke for a little bit, and the price sounded reasonable. I paid right away and unfortunately this guy had nothing to deliver. Took my money and ran ($94 worth). When I start from a dark cockpit and activate the battery, the Ground Power Available light is off. I'm at a ramp at JKF, but I don't know what option to set to hook up (or unhook) the ground power and use it before moving to the APU. Can someone help?Joe

For Anyone Interested, Received the add-on program "My Traffic 2004" a few days ago. Very happy with the product. Used Traffic Tools for awhile but was taking a heavy hit on FPS due the textures I was using. Really like this program. Minimal FPS hit on my mid-range system if I keep the traffic in the 50-60 percent range. Running FS9 at 1600x1200/32 and the aircraft all look fairly good to me. Adds considerable realism to the sim even though airline flight plans are not 100 percent accurate. About 350 different airlines represented. Some time ago there were several posts where the use of extra memory was discussed. Now I have doubled my memory from 512MB to 1GB. I have tried to increase the size of the graphichs aperture from 128MB to 256MB but I did not get any improvement (my graphics board is a Ti 4800 SE, with 128MB). As a fellow simmer explained in this forum, no improvement would be expectable for graphics boards with 128MB memory.I had read sometime ago that the swap file could be eliminated, reducing the disk accesses and resulting in an improvement in performance. Hello,i have a question to all users of this panel. I have the Fs2004 with an A300 of SGA. When taking off with the aircraft and setting the autopilot to on, the aircraft must be in "pitch and roll mode" thats ok so far, but if i want to change the pitch attitude i have to use the joystick give an input and the aircraft starts to pitch (if down or up is equal). Now when i release the joystick the aircraft attitude changes in spite of it, but the manual says the current attitude must be held when releasing the joystick and "pitch mode" is on. Also the ALT.A knob has no effect. Pls can you help me i really want to fly an A300, there so no other needable panel to find

Hi.Can anyone please tell me whether the seasonal ground textures in FS8 are same as those in FS9? In other words, are the tiles essentially identical in appearance and will they trigger expected forms of autogen scenery? As such, would the FS8 textures work in exactly the same manner if placed in FS9?Cheers,Matthew.

Hi all, over the last 6 days I've been recreating the Statue of Liberty at a much higher detail level than the default one. I have 3 things left to do :-add the staircase behind the statue,-rotate the statue for correct heading-possibly add some people to the statue.If anyone can tell me the "official" heading, I'd be very grateful. Also, would you rather prefer some people standing on the pedestal or not.
