My FS 2004 install has been rock solid ever since I installed it just after release. All of a sudden a year later I'm getting out of memory error every time I try to load up. this is getting frustrating. I've re installed twice, deleted all my add on sceneries and still I get the out of memory and I should run disk clean up. I don't know why it thinks I don't have enough memory since I have over 11 gig free on the C drive. Also when I alt tab to the error message and then close it I get a facilities error in FS and it then closes out. Just built a new rig consisting of: Intel D875PBZLK mobo, Intel 3.0ghz 800mhz FSB, 1gig Corsair XMS pc3200 memory, SB Audigy Gamer, and my old GEForce4 ti4200.Now, on my old rig (a P4 1.5ghz with 512MB ram and the same video card) I was getting frame rates no lower than 16 or 17, any aircraft anywhere with all slider maxed except the 3d clouds and low water effects. With my new rig I cant get any higher than 5 or 7fps if there is a single cloud in the virtual sky. What am I missing? I have turned off several of the unecessary processes by way of msconfig and the services tab, and have tried disabling hyperthreading in BIOS (no difference by the way). Why was my performace…

Very nicely done. Spent the last hour or so putting it through its paces.No nosewheel steering so you need to use differential braking (F11 and F12).Great VC for those who use them but a few gauges seem to be missing. Here We Go Again.....The word is out that FEELTHERE is about to release their long awaited CRJ-200 and the word on their site is it is today...I am getting kind of bored with this hurry up and wait game that happens each and everytime a new add-on is ready to be release. I think it is time that the add-on industry sets a standard release time for new product instead of the standard....SOMETIME TODAY....it is my feeling that no annoucement should be made until the product is done and ready to be released.....I think that Eaglesoft has done a terrific job at this.Why cant we have a set time perhaps based on time at the GMZ for release.Just my thoughts

1. I am receiving a tone followed by two beeps throughout a flight that lasted about an hour. I can't figure out how to turn it off.2. The throttles will not increse or decrease in sinc even if I press E followed by 1 & 2 which should sinc the throttle movement. If auto throuttle is on, the two engines do sinc as the power is increased or decreased.Any ideas? Thanks, Ron

The original price was $34.95 as many may remember but they (Wilco) have released the CRJ at a cost of $29.95 instead. :D Not a huge reduction in cost but a savings nontheless. Looks like Wilco did listen to the emails they received. Even though the reduction is only $5 for some reason when an aircraft goes up into the :)

Yesterday, for the first time, I decided to try an ATC monitered flight from EDDM to LIRN. So I filed the flight plan - ATC at EDDM took charge - I took off as directed, then ATC Vectored me around the sky a bit, asking me to change course and altitude a few time; finally bringing me back to the nearest waypoint on my Flight Plan. The last thing my Controller said to me was "Continue own Navigation"! - that was it :) I heard nothing more from them? My question is this, is this Standard ATC Practice in Fs9, should I have re-filed my FP nearer my final Destination, or is this as good as it gets?I enjoyed the initial experience, but just sorry it did not continue throu…

I have owned Microsoft flight sim 2004 since December. To make a long story short. It crashes to the desk top. I have reformatted my drive 10 times , reinstalled flight sim2004 20 times, purchased three different cards ati radeon 7500 first( Bad frame rates) 9600se second ( still crashing , now 9800pro. I have installed the latest directx drivers 9b and the latest ati 44 drivers. I am sure there is alot of ATI users out there with no problems. I now have great frame rates but sometimes 5 minutes, 10 or maybe 30...Crash. I have been on the phone with microsoft many times as well. I started getting a Windows XP Error message saying the programme had an error and would close so I uninstalled and reinstalled FS9.When I tried to load FS9 I got the splash screen which disappeared very quickly and then nothing happened. I then copied in the "N0-CD fs9.exe" and this time the splash screen remains for a few seconds and then I get the "error/closure" message screen.I had this problem once before, some time ago and I seem to remember someone kindly suggested a solution. Hi all,I realise there are a few posts on frame rates and system specs, but after doing a search, i couldn't find what people consider to be GOOD FPS. I get around 20FPS with a heap of AI traffic and all medium scenery settings when flying with low end aircraft. I recently purchased PMDG 737NG (bloody fantastic) but with this i only get around 10-12FPS?! Question is : How much play does the graphics card have compared with the CPU and RAM. I've got a P4 2.8 with 1GB of RAM on a Radeon Se 128mb card. I don't know much about graphics cards, but will upgrading this card give me a lot better FPS or only 3-5? Any recomendations for upgrades? Running Windows XP.Second Question …

I am trying to master the Bell Ranger 206 but I have 2 questions: First, I am using the CH Flight Sim Yoke, and the throttle seems to control the collective nicely, but I never noticed the engine sound change as I increase or decrease power. Then I discovered the prop pitch lever (between the throttle and mixture levers) also seems to control power to a point and the engine sounds do respond nicely. What is this lever controlling on the real thing? Second, I went to external view to see what control surfaces move with control movement as can be done with the fixed wing aircraft. Nothing seemed to move. (I thought rotor blades change pitch or something like that). Are …
