Say for example the FD in the 744? I know it has to be coupled with the AP and I think it provides visual cues on the HSI as to where/how to fly the plane. But I am sure it does more than that. Thnx for any info.

Hi,I have now aquired FS2004, and when I enable 3D-glasses in FS2004, there is a double image in the VC, although I have the glasses on, and there is two lines at the sides.Anybody else had this problem, or know how to cure it?thanks,Balooba

I have no idea what I did, (Of course I did not back up my textures), when I downloaded one of the cloud frame rate improvement packages from AVSIM. Don't ask me which one lol.. sorry...But my problem isn't the 3d clouds, they look fine, the problem is when I go to simple clouds now I see big white blocks!! Any ideas??Jeff

Anybody else find the scenery in mountain areas can be sometimes a little boring when flying in winter. MS seems to want to cover everything in snow which tends to create a slightly monotonous landscape. Nice if you're actually there but I prefer a bit of variation. Roll on spring - in FS anyway! it was running fine then suddenly no sounds....on investigation there is sound but only external...no engin sounds just the rumble when you take off...however the cessnas's and the baron 58 and the coursair work perfectly....i have deleted the installation removed all ad ons deleted the fs2002 dir and re installed twice and it still will not work....when i click on the sounds in the sound folders of the planes that do not work media player comes back with an error but the planes that work appear to be ok...i have scanned for viruses and defragged...can anyone help me please.......

Hi,When trying to set a bigger resolution in the 3D-settings tab in properties, the resolution goes back to 640-480, when going back to properties again. Because of this it won't work in FS2002.Could somebody help me, please?Balooba

FS Live Traffic has made my home airport KOAK is a bustling class C...as it should be. I have to check before crossong/entering intersections, ATC Ground is giving traffic hold instructions to allow other traffic to move along the taxiways...its GREAT!!!But in the air its a whole other story! *Problem number one is it seems ATC approach provides no sequencing and seperation. Planes are coming in at times in bunches of 3, with less than a mile seperation. *Problem number two is that small GA/experimentals are being allowed to land on the main runway 29 instead of the GA runways 27L & R. So these little guys are slowing the approach pace down to 90-110kts...not go…

Hi all My vector expansion for Track IR arrived this morning, I have just had a quick flight with it and i am here to tell you that it is amazing.A real improvement on the Track IR an its own.This is a must have for all flyers of the taildraggers, being able to lean over and see forward down the runway out of the side window makes taxing and takeoff much easier.It is a very natural feel, where with the Track IR on its own i was always a little consious of keeping my head reasonably still and had a dead zone set up to help in this, I now do not need the deadzone just need to move around in my seat to adjust my view as you would in a real life cockpit.Sit up and lean…

Just would be interested to know what others think of this aircraft? There hasn't been an official review yet so is it worth the $34.95 price and how does it perform especially in the virtual cockpit view? Its a big 115MB download so is it frame rate friendly?

There was an interesting thread below regarding what you would do if there was no more MSFS.Most appear happy with what they have now and are confident that with third party help they could blissfully carry on with the existing platform as it stands for many years to come.I cannot agree as I personally feel there is a long way to go before MSFS is complete enough.For me MSFS scores high in the visual delights department. I have a problem when I start up flt sim. When I boot it up it has an error message that states that an Fssound.dll file is invallid or something like that then it sits there and does nothing. When I try and shut it down with the task manager it says it cannot because it is being debugged, well it never stops debugging. I have to shut the computer off everytime I try to run FS9. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but no luck. Any experts out seen this before. Help if you can thanks.phillyflyer

Hello Gang!Can someone please enlighten me and let me know how to make the Project Fokker F-100 wing airbrakes work? Every time I hit my airbrake button or arm the spoilers, the rear tail drag spoiler opens up. I'd like to get the wing spoilers to deploy upon touchdown.Any help is appreciated.Sincerely,Dennis D. During long distance flight with GPS, I usually leave the plane in AP and take a break. When I come back, ATC already cancel my IFR. What should I do, re-file it? The problem is. If I re-file when very close to destination, ATC mess up my approach. What do real pilots do when taking a nap while in AP and ATC cancels IFR?

Would be great to see someone do a repaint for the Captian Sim 707/VC-137C in the Air Force One Colors for 26000, The Kennedy plane. To get a paint of the aircraft as it was in '62-'63 would be super. Nice AF1 paint with the program, but that is of 27000.Happy New Year!Joe

Hey all, I had a fellow poster over at flightinfo.com tell me about a tinmouse 737 with panel, flight dynamics, and sound that were designed to be accurate for the 737-200. So real in fact, that high time pilots were recommending it for a little refresher before the checkride. Unfortunately, I went to the site, and it looks as if they are closed as of about 5 days ago.Could anyone email me the flight dynamic file, the sound, and the panel with associated gauges, etc?I have cable internet, and my email is [email protected] fact, to make it easy, you can just send the entire aircraft file, if you have them in a package already. I am trying to find out if anyone downloaded the zip. file AC185 F VER24.00 and found the same problems as I have. This zip is supposed to upgrade the great aircraft to work in FS9,but what I found ,still no spinner,and a question whether or not the doors were to open or not.I have tryied to email the question to Mikko but my ISP blocked his address. I would like to find out where I can obtain an Approach Chart for LHBP, Ferihegy Airport Runway 31L, help would be appreciated.The thing that annoys me, not a little; is that I have a Jeppesen CD 3 Regions including Europe, but it will not load because t is looking for FS2002 - FS what? :). First let me say that I've been flying the Howard 500 for only a couple of days, but the more I fly it, the more I love it. I've always enjoyed old aircraft and their history. This one is truly a gem. Many thanks to the team who built it.Now a couple of questions:1) I've added the Realty-XP GNS530 to the panel using one of the cfg files at the RXP website. Works great. In doing this, the buttons that switch the co-pilot view is of course gone now. Pressing Shift-2 brings up the co-pilot panel as an overlay, rather than doing the switch. Has anyone done a work around this?2) I fly with two monitors (attached to one card). I can undock the co-pilot panel and move it to the …

I have a problem with KOAK in FS2004. KOAK has two sets of runways roughly parallel to the Intl runway 29/11. These smaller runways(North Field) are 27/09 L&R. Basically the big boys use 29/11 while GA and business jets use the 27/09s. As it is in game ATC only allows for AI traffic for 29/11. This means GA aircraft with approach speeds of only 90kts are backing up the Intl approach. Is it possible to edit FS2004 to have AI and player GA traffic(business jets too) land and depart on the 27s?
