Hi all,What do you think are some of the best FREEWARE things for FS2002..?Including( aircrafts, sounds, panels, utilities, etc..etc)Thank you ;)

I am having trouble with AI in fs9. I have followed all of the instructions and think I have everything in place. Where in FS2004 do I find the AI flight plans and aircraft? Any help is appreciated.Thanks,Larry

I was over at Airliners.net and checking out some Airbuses, which is something I don't normally do (check out Airbuses that is). I don't want to get into a Boeing vs. Airbus debate, but you can't deny that the 340 is an interesting-looking airplane. In fact, to me the Airbus A340-300 is the best looking airliner out there and kind of reminds me of looking at an old 707-320b. Trying to find whats causing some of my 3rd party airports to show big grey "building like" boxes?? and also some mixing of default and new scenery as well, only on some airports, most are fine.I thought there may have been some missing Nova textures so I reinstalled those, so Im wondering if its not a scenery priority or a landclass problem. Well I got up early this morning to fly around in my Lockheed Constellation which is my favorite plane to fly as of late. I decided to fly around California and my last flight for today was a short hop from Sacramento INTL to Reno /Tahoe. Active Sky had the latest weather and off we went. Pretty soon I am at 11,500 in the Connie and the clouds and the mountain tops with the snow were just fantastic. Don't see scenery like that from 35000 feet when I fly in real life. Went over a couple of lakes surrounded by mountains and everyonce in awhile I would fly into a cloud or solid overcast , with mountain peaks showing over the top. Sure would be cool to have a small app that would allow you to change your eye position in the VC then hit a hotkey to make that the default position for that panel.cfg. I am amazed how many commercial addons have their default eye positions significantly offcenter or too high or low. Also, many of us like to have the view zoomed out to 67% or so. Once again, I only come up with the ideas - I have no talent to implement them! ;-)David

Greetings, After selecting KDEN to CYVR IFR and clicking Find Route. The map appears and it shows departure being Seattle and arrival KDEN, and is frozen. It happens from any departure point. FS9 is frozen. If I begin a flight and then exit back to FS9 and create a flight it is okay. Please pray for the survivors in Asia and the ones who are now in heaven Brad

I have been using Chris Arringtons excellent AEU V.6 and I really like the way its changed the look of the airport surfaces.I did notice a problem however and was wondering if any of you could offer some advice on a fix.The taxiways, ramp areas etc. are built out of adjoining squares and rectangles...the "join lines" (for lack of a better word!) between all of them jump about when I taxi planes around. Pardon me if this has already been addressed here before, but searching has turned up no answers. I have a lot of nice payware GA prop aircraft from the likes of Aerosoft, FSD, RealAir, and Flight1, and I like to always start my flights with a cold cockpit. I always start FS2004 with the default Cessna 182, cold and magnetos off, however, when I then proceed to load a payware GA prop aircraft, the payware aircraft nearly always loads with the magnetos/starter set to both/on. Why is this? The default Cessna 182's magnetos are off, but the payware GA prop aircraft loads with the magnetos on. Is there a way I can configure the payware aircraft to load with the magnetos defau…

Could someone who has this aircraft and uses FSUIPC please post thier throttle settings (numbers) in FSUIPC? Mine has a little problem of slowly rolling away while idling with the parking brake on. I calibrated my throttle and made some adjustments to FSUIPC which cured the problem but then my throttle only had two settings idle or full power. thnx!!

Hi all,I seem to be having a problem with 'My Traffic'. I have just recently installed this again and a lot of aircraft are appearing with no textures. It's really bad at PANC. Also some aircraft disappear. They would be on the taxi way and then 'poof' gone. I also run Project AI (the aircraft without textures only happened after my traffic. Hi all, AVSIM newbie here. Just been reunited with FS thanks to a new PC that can actually handle it, and I want to get the best from it.I have bought VFR Photographic Scenery Vols 1-3 already, will probably go for the VFR terrain upgrade soon too, but wanted to know (and I've tried to search for this, but with little luck in over half an hour so far) if there were any items that you experts considered to be 'must have' downloads from the library. Any good aircraft (light singles for now) that make good alternatives, general scenery enhancements, other add-ons etc. I'm just sticking to the UK for now, before spreading my wings too far.Hope this isn't a typical newbie 'her…

Does anybody know how to add scenery or the method to use to make scenery show up in the select location ,search addon scenery box.Some of the scenery i have purchsed shows up eg.uk2000 but some don't.It gets a bit annoying when trying to search for the airport you have just installed and not being able to go straight there through the addon scenery option.Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,I TRIED THIS ON THE F1 fORUM but there is more traffic here!I use the new TRACKIR3 with the Vector Software. The only VC that seems affected by the TRACKIR is my Flite 1 172R. I have the latest Installer Version of the 172 but when I go to the VC, all of the gauges become black. Again, it is the only Flight1 VC of mine (ATR, 310, 421,441, 727) where this happens. Just a quick note for the masses - Chris's v6 package (since the FS9 patch) has performed flawlessly. No more crushing FPS slowdowns at all. If you've got a fairly speedy machine, you guys & gals might want to give his set another try...Scott
